• NABIL (1/5): Fake accommodation : DO NOT BOOK - Nothing. Only fake if you compare photo. The owner is not honest The photos on Booking.com are misleading. They do not reflect reality. And not AC working I took photos, and they clearly do not match what was advertised.

• Alessandro (4/5): Needs a lot of work - The room was passable and somewhat clean. However, when it rains, water comes through the roof and wets the bed. The shower curtain is moldy, but the room doesn’t smell bad, just humid. There are tons of flies, but that’s not their fault, as it’s typical of the area. The villa is literally in the middle of nowhere and not very easy to reach by bike, as you'll have to navigate dirt roads, plants, and narrow paths while being careful not to fall into the mud of the rice fields. Going out at night is also a bit of an adventure, and you'll have to, as no restaurants deliver food in the area. The hot tub, the main reason you'd book this place, is very dirty and never actually hot, barely a warm tub. It takes literally two hours to fill up, and by the time it's full, the water has already cooled down. The AC works well, and the bed is surprisingly decent, but the bathroom has long lost its battle against humidity. This place could be so much better if they simply cared about maintaining it properly. On a positive note, the staff is kind and accommodating.

• Martina (8/5): Very good - Very well placed in a quiet place as well as for a morning trek to the Gn. Batur that the owner helped to organize.
• Carolina (5/5): Needs improvement to access the property. - The view was nice and the helper lend us his bike to get some food. Extremely loud music since 7 am from working construction right next to the property. Far from everywhere and taxis don’t want to go there. The place is not a Villa (no place to cook).

• Matthew (7/5): Has potential - Clean room and nice outdoor space. It is fairly out of the way. The jacuzzi is not a jacuzzi as the tap never stays hot long enough for it to be warm and it takes 3hrs to fill. There were 3 teenagers running it when we were there, that didn’t seem to know too much about running an accommodation. It was a strange place that didn’t feel quite ready to be open.
• Jack (10/5): Exceptional - The villa was modern and clean. Perfect for a two night stay next to Mount Batur. The outside bath was a lovely bonus and the staff were excellent. Also, only a 5 minute drive to the hot springs. Walking to places from this property is not really an option so a motorbike or car is helpful. Although the owner offered to take us to restaurants for dinner free of charge.
• Niels (6/5): Nice location with potential to be great - yet needs significant improvement in cleanliness - There was a jacuzzi in front of the room which was really nice. It’s a good location to visit mount batur. High potential! - the bathroom was not clean. In the first room there was the drain of the shower was still full of hair in rubbish. We could change rooms and at first we thought it’s a bit cleaner but then we took a closer look at the toilet and unfortunately it was not cleaned at all. This definitely needs improvement and training of staff. - limited choice for breakfast not corresponding to price
• Ivan (10/5): Highly recommended! - Excellent location with a beautiful view, the road is a little difficult, but it doesn’t matter, it’s not a problem to find. The Jacuzzi is amazing, very nice to soak in when returning from the volcano. The owner is polite and courteous. Also helped with contacts for guide and driver. Hide from flies under water, they are everywhere in this area! 😃
• Tolliday (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful room with a nice hot tub outside, very clean and comfortable. The ac works well. Putu was absolutely amazing very helpful and kind and went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing stay. We did the keep tour with him and saw sunrise. Would definitely recommend staying here.

• Morletravels (10/5): Exceptional - I had a nice and comfortable stay at Brahmastra Villa. It's just a short scooter ride off the main road and easy to find with google maps. On arrival the owner welcomed me and explained everything. He arranged a guide for the Batur sunrise hike the next morning. The room is very clean and modern with a good shower and very comfy bed. On request you can get the bath in front of the room filled. The guide for the hike was called Dennis who I can highly recommend. He picked me up from the villa at 3.30am, drove me to the start of the Batur hike and turned out to be a great company for the hike. At the top he provided a tea, banana toast and eggs cooked in the hot steams of the volcano. I recommend doing the crater rim hike with him. After the hike I had a delicious fried rice for breakfast back at the villa. I can recommend staying at the Brahmastra Villa!
• Vadim (10/5): Exceptional - The jacuzzi is amazing. Though, if you tell them in advance to start filling it up to your arrival, as it takes 2h to fill completely. Views are amazing, extremely quiet place with huge garden. The road to the villa. Though, it is not fault of the villa
