• andrea (2/5): - Very clean room great location When we arrived we thought we'd got the wrong house all widows open music blasting out at least6/7 young people in rooms upstairs but it was only 4pm so we thought hmm well okay just cos there young and having some pre drinks it should be fine later got back from visiting family at 11 all quiet went off to bed 7 hr drive in the morning ! 12 midnight doors banging people in garden drinking falling out knocking on doors up and down stairs talking on landing then more arguments didn't quiet down till 2.30 am I did message the owner to say that if there was any damage it wasn't us and to say about the noise level and I did get a apologetic reply but if youre thinking of staying here unless you book all three rooms youre at the mercy of the other guests !!

• Bush-Lowery (1/5): Avoid at all costs. NOT as described. Rough, Tiered and was so bad i left and stayed somewhere else. - This property is NOT as advertised. It was so bad I left and found a new place to stay. The interior is very tiered and worn, and of a cheap nature. The bedding was so bad it was bobbly and made of a sheen type material (hideous). The doors to the bedooms dont have numbers as per the photos, its actually scribbled on with biro, which I think gives you a good idea as to the rest of the properties standard. It is very old and tiered, and smells as such. It is nothing like the pictures. The house is un-attended and shared with a handful of other strangers so not suitable for a lone women as the lock is flimsy at best. The front page of the ad. says private bathroom, its only when you delve deeper into the ad you see its a shared bathroom between all the bedrooms. Outside is a big sub station and bins. When i contacted the owner they refused to refund. Avoid this place at all costs. Much better places in reading for same cost.

• Jody (1/5): - Nothing I booked a room, paid for a taxi there, when I arrived the lights were on I knocked on the door the lights went off and no one answered the door.

• Matthew (2/5): Nice house and well located for the north part of Reading - spoilt by illegal guests. - Conveniently positioned, with parking. Very disrupted night with guests who didn't pay to stay gatecrashed. They were talking loudly through the night. Loud hammering on a bedroom door with no explanation beforehand from the owners/mangers what was going on. Lots of 'argy bargey' getting the unsolicited guests out of the building. They were removed but ended up with quite a disturbed unsettled night not feeling that safe. No tea/coffee facilities, even though the cupboard was marked with a label showing that.
• Lance (8/5): Nice. - Nice, comfortable and homely. Not very friendly other guests. It’s annoying when you greet people and they ignore you. Met the owners Mom and she was very friendly and helpful.

• Juleen (10/5): An excellent host and nice, comfortable house. - The TV and table in the room. The full kitchen. Bed is comfortable and beddings is good. On-site parking. Clean and tidy. The host Sonia is so far the best host i have encountered, will go extra mile to help. Very quick response time. She is fantastic!

• Lynn (8/5): - The bed was really comfortable. The whole place was clean and had good amenities. Everything was as shown in the listings. I liked the added security of the door locks on the individual doors so I felt safe leaving valuables there. Enough space for several cars to park off-street. The room was cold, even with me keeping the additional small heater on (travelled in December). Also the sound of the plumbing was loud. I was not sent the check in details in advance - an oversight by the owner - but luckily one of the other guests was there to let me in.

• Magda (8/5): Good room, stressful check-in - Clean, quiet, comfortable, in a reasonable distance from the centre. The property has a stressful check-in process where you need to operate a digital system which you were not instructed to operate.

• Tofie (6/5): Lovely clean accommodation but noisy - Lovely clean space The walls and floors of this accommodation are paper thin and thus every step, every door opened is LOUD ! If you’re a light sleeper, and the other residents are on a different schedule you WILL hear it. I had to get ear plugs to sleep the second night. You can hear the other residents in their room, in the bathroom, going up and down the stairs. I could hear room 1 on the phone, watching Netflix and plugging stuff into sockets. If you book all 3 rooms might not be so bad but if you book 1 room please prepare yourself. Lovely clean rooms, quiet street but would not recommend due to the noisy interior.

• Stephen (8/5): Nice property, excellent location, well organised set up - Location is extremely convenient as is the general set up. Very clean and tidy, a home away from home For me the mattress was way too soft and the motion detecting floodlight aimed at the courtyard and the front door was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, making seeing the electronic door keypad almost impossible to see and use.

• Nicole (9/5): Amazing cozy stay - Cosy, nice beds, I like security and ease of check in, love the TV in the bedroom, good temperature. The lamps with the usb charging was a life saver as I only had a usb and not a plug for charging The shower was a bit confusing, I wasn't sure how to use the rainfall shower so I only used the handheld. The upstairs toilet is quite weak, I always had to flush twice. I was struggling to find what breakfast options existed apart from the toast, but I maybe wasn't looking hard enough! Also had to open the window mid sleep as it got too hot at one point but wasn't too bad. It was still a perfect stay :)

Nous avons pu stocker nos vélos dans la cour à l'arrière pour la nuit. Les draps en matière synthétique qui font transpirer.
• Oscar (10/5): Como en casa pero sin la suegra. - Es un sitio muy tranquilo perfecto para descansar despues de cualquier actividad. Solo falta un cocinero para no tener que hacer nada al regreso y que sirvan el desayuno en la cama domingo por la mañana.

• Dun (5/5): 不想过多评论，只适合简单过夜 - 除了100米可以走到海边，没有太多值得的。 本来预定的房间含浴缸，前台就是不给。 房型根本对不上，店家也不肯妥协。 我一看到OYO我就凉了一大截，这比国内的汉庭怕是差了不止一星半点。 淋浴头、地面都很旧很旧，很吓人。 甚至打了booking客服，也不能解决问题，相当的护着店家，丝毫不考虑住客。

Thank you for the time I was able to spend during my vacation. Thank you very much. Smoking is not allowed in the entire hotel. But this is just a minor inconvenience.

Two other guests sat in the living room under our bedroom talking and watching tv from 2am until 6am. Not the fault of the host but maybe some signage to make people aware that other guests are in the property. We didn't need the heating on either.

• Mairi (8/5): Comfortable, bright, spacious and clean - The accommodation was in a nice quiet street and was spacious and clean. It was great to have a lounge to sit in . The garden is a bit of an eyesore and some kind of coffee making stuff (cafetière or machine) would have been great. The bedroom was good - comfy bed ! There is a lot of the owners stuff around - would prefer not to have so much stuff everywhere but not a big deal.
