- Lyn (1/5): - We arrived at MercyLand in Kokstad late afternoon on Sunday the 8th March, having travelled from Gonubie in the Eastern Cape, only to find that the Guest House was fully booked. The Manager had missed seeing our booking!! She did however find a room for us at the Royal Courtyard Hotel and booked us in for I night. The cost of a bed at Mercyland is R890 per night, presumably including breakfast and the. Royal Courtyard is R744 per night, excluding breakfast. Our payment of R890 to Mercyland was handed over to the Royal Courtyard Hotel for our booking there.
We lost R144 because of her forgetfullness.l

- Nompumelelo (7/5): - I was happy that the place has Electric blanket
Their double bed is very comfirtable and also their linen is hundred percent clean
Their place is very quite to rest at night after a long trip I would suggest that they make simple carpots for their visitors to park their vehicles during the stay in case of bad weather conditions.I think this is possible for them since they have a huge yard.
I also suggest that they improve the yard in front of the rooms for the even walk at night ,especially for grannys

- Sicelo (10/5): Wonderful stay. Best place I have stayed in, in the province. - Lovely location just off the main road.
Good signage and easy to find.
The rooms were sparkling clean.
Plenty of amenities in the rooms which exceeded my expectations.
The rate per room is a bargain considering what you are getting in return.
The best place I have stayed in, in a long time and I spend a considerable amount of time away from home for work purposes. Nothing.
I loved everything about the facility.
My only regret is that I couldn't book and have breakfast there due to the early start and checking out of the facility before breakfast times.
- Luyanda (8/5): Very good - Quietness and tidiness

- Rory (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - It was perfectly positioned for a one night stop over on our road trip. We stayed in the family room, which was spacious and comfortable. Had a nice take away burger from the Steers across the road. There was a lack of cutlery but we were assured that these were available upon request
- Akhona (10/5): Everything was good -
- Roderick (7/5): This probably won't be our first choice next time. - Location and parking, fridge and microwave in room. Meals have to be ordered in from local restaurants. Room was small, basin plug leaked, very noisy builders working on adjacent room until 5pm.

- Sindi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vitalis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leuba (1/5): Very bad, our privasy was invaded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - the bed was comfortable The owner booked other people in both our rooms to bath because we left early in the morning and they knew we were only coming back later. Unfortunately for them we returned after an hour and found strangers bathing in both our rooms!!
When we asked how can they do this they said they allowed those other people in to bath because they knew we left and only coming back later. Apparently these were people who were passing by and requested to bath, so they decided to give them access to both our rooms. It was such an invasion of our privacy and I will not recommend anyone to go to this place because, who knows what else happens in your absence!!!!!
- Akhona (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet❤️
- Sakhile (9/5): Great place, at a convenient location. Clean and quiet - Great location, clean and friendly staff The room was a bit small

The facility included a shared lounge and kitchen, I was most surprised being located in Matatiele, most people do not travel that way..I highly recommend. Shower was heavenly and I enjoyed a warm bath in very cold weather. The accomodation is walking distance to steers so takeaway during loadshedding no problem. Thank you for your hositality Tembi, we wish you all sucssess. All well and most enjoyable

There is just a lot that we did not like e.g. headboard plugs were not working most of the time. The outside surroundings are not well looked after. Entrance and exit to the place is horrible with potholes. The signage or markings are not up to standard. We did not have breakfast at the place. We had our own food.
