Les photos sont conformes à la description et la chambre était impeccable, très propre. Ce n’est qu’une question de goût mais le lit était trop dur.

• Margarita (8/5): - La habitación y el baño estan muy limpios, la casa se ve muy bien cuidada y limpia, la chica que trabaja alli es muy amable y los desayunos que nos hico eran muy buenos y abundantes,nos recomendó sitio donde comer y era muy atenta con nosotros(no recordamos su nombre) el afintrion muy simtipatico,nos recibió con fruta y bebida fria que se agradece mucho con el calor del Sur y nos ofreció tours y excursiones, cogimos la opcion Shikara y la canoa a remo para otro dia y nos gustó mucho,ellos se encargaron del transporte y de toda organización muy comodo.
• Alie van Noordennen (8/5): Heel fijn adres om te overnachten. - Een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. We werden ontvangen met koffie en zelfgebakken cake, koekjes en fruit. De kamer was niet groot maar zag er goed uit. Helaas was de eigenaresse er die dag niet zodat we er niet konden eten 's avonds. De volgende ochtend kregen we een enorm uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt. Het was ook leuk om de andere gasten aan het ontbijt te ontmoeten. Jammer genoeg was er een storing, zodat we geen warm water hadden in de douche.
• KatRed (10/5): Beautiful homestay with wonderful hosts - We had a wonderful stay at Bella Boutique Homestay. Biju, Jayashri and Sunitha were such wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. When we arrived after a long car journey we were given tea and homemade cake, which was delicious! They were so kind and let us keep our bags at the property and the key to our room while we went on our houseboat, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was incredible here and our room was lovely - spacious, homely and impeccably clean. We loved it, and would return in a heartbeat if we ever came back to Alleppey. One of our favourite places we stayed during our two weeks in Kerala. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Sunita who looks after the guests is the most wonderful person. So hospitable and looked after our every need, and anticipated what we might need. Beautiful balcony and garden area. Serene amidst the busy Alleppey. Nothing, perfectly suited our needs.

• Daphne (10/5): Delightful hosts. Would highly recommend. - Perfect location near backwaters. Beautiful patio garden, room with kingsize bed was very comfortable. Not particularly spacious but perfectably adequate for an overnight stay and thoughtfully furnished. Tea / coffee making facilities on rhe landing. We were the only people staying so it was very quiet and peaceful. We were very warmly welcomed with coffee and cake - such a nice touch and much appreciated! Nothing!

• Gustaf Jackson (10/5): - The best way to experience Alleppey, much better than sleeping on a boat! The house is really unique and intimate, with a lovely loggia space at the front and so many wonderful plants, it looks even better than the photos. The second unique factor is the friendliness of the hosts, who made wonderful food for us and had great recommendations. Our boat tour, organised by a friend of the host, was unique in being on a smaller boat, eating local food and supporting the local community. Thoroughly recommended!

It was my birthday on our trip and Sunita even bought me a little gift which was so so thoughtful! Food was delicious and they also had great local recommendations. Highly recommend kayaking around the canals which was organised by Biju - it’s worth the early start! Property was very clean and homely. All round a great stay! Nothing!

• Jennifer (10/5): - The property was beautiful - the garden was lovely and it really felt like an oasis. The staff were so wonderful and made us feel at home. After a long journey to Allepey and a late arrival, they helped us order a takeaway and a cold beer so we didn’t had to venture out again into the evening! The hospitality was outstanding - I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Staff supportive arranging activities. Homestay is very clean and dinner is also offered as an option. A thoughtful layout of rooms with a library and balcony for guests. I prefer a softer mattress , pillows were great tho’. I prefer Breakfast earlier than 08:30.

• Andrea (10/5): Sehr sympathisches Homestay - Biju, Jayashri & Sunitha sind super sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns ein tolles Hausboot und leckeres Essen organisiert. Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, wir haben uns von Anfang an (Willkommensdrinks, gemütlicher Schwatz auf der Terrasse) sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr idyllisch, es hat viele schöne Pflanzen, die auch von den Vögeln geschätzt werden. Das Zimmer war sehr bequem, ruhig und gut durchdacht. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Wir bereuen nur, dass wir nicht länger geblieben sind.

Beautifully clean accommodation around a lovely green garden and tasty home cooked food. Biju and Jayashri include both recommendations for local activities such as the backwater tour options to local eateries and town services such as pharmacies, taxis etc. It was a highlight to meet like minded travellers over breakfast and afternoon coffees to really emphasise the welcoming and family atmosphere at Bellakerala :) Thank you Biju, Jayashri, and Sunitha you have a wonderful home in Alleppy!

They are also incredibly helpful in organising autos, cabs and helping you plan your trip. It would be nice to have recommendations of more affordable restaurants for local and good cuisine.

• YUKA (10/5): 大満足でした - 朝食、夕食がとてもおいしかった。アレルギーや苦手な食材にも柔軟に対応してもらえ大満足。日替わりのHOMEMADEのケーキやフルーツジャムも絶品でした。 ジャムはお土産としてプレゼントもしていただき、帰国後も美味しくいただいています。 オーナーの友人のドライバーが案内してくれる村を巡るリキシャツアーではアラビア海、ヒンドゥー寺院、教会を訪れました。教会ではちょうど新年のミサに参列することができ、インドのカトリックの雰囲気を堪能でき素晴らしい経験ができました。アーユルヴェーダトリートメントも手配してもらいました。 オーナーご夫妻、スタッフの女性ともに温かい人柄で、お部屋もキレイ、インテリアも洗練されていて、タオルもふわふわです。（インドは6回訪れていますがホテルのタオルは通常とてもゴワゴワなので衝撃でした。） このお値段でこんなに快適な滞在ができる宿泊施設は他にないと思います！！ ない

• Sarah (10/5): The warmest welcome, everything was wonderful - we were sad to leave. - Bella is a real gem of a home stay and we loved every moment of our time there. It’s a peaceful and spotlessly clean place, with fresh cake made daily by Jaya, a huge breakfast, good coffee - and a fantastic dinner made especially for you, if you want to eat there in the evening. It’s geared up to be social and we enjoyed the time we spent with our hosts and the other guests. Biju arranged a brilliant tour of the backwaters by boat for us, as well as our ongoing transport. Special mention to Sunita who looked after us, cooked for us and even threw me an impromptu birthday celebration (with cake). We went as tourists and left as friends. I can’t recommend this wonderful place more highly. Nothing!

They helped with onward travel, and also ideas for a next trip Property is leafy, shady, cool, pretty, well furnished and decorated, with lots of art We had a dinner there and it was exceptional. Kerela fish curry, rice, salad, side dishes, poppadoms. Best meal we have had in India. Breakfast was lovely too No hot water from shower, which is common for India - hot water is in batgroom though, you use a bucket, traditional style. But, given all the positives of the stay, this was a minor issue, and completely normal in India
• Heather (8/5): A pretty homestay whre staff are warm, welcoming and social - Biju, Jayeshri and Sunita are so welcoming and nothing is too much for them. Because there are only 5 rooms we tended to meet at breakfast and evening time at the 2 tables which was perfect for me being solo. The property is an oasis full of lush vegetation - a relaxing experience (with an extensive library should you wish to sit an read) My room didn’t have a wardrobe so I had to fold all my clothes over one chair

Location was perfect - walkable from town but away from the hustle and bustle so we had very restful sleeps. Would definitely book here again! nothing!

Biju the owner made us very welcome, gave us lots of information. Sunita the housekeeper kept us well fed and looked after us very well. We were allowed to take our own alcohol and keep it in the fridge in the kitchen. Tea and coffee was available all day free of charge.

We stayed one night here and another night on a houseboat before returning to Kochi, and they even booked a cab for us days after we had already checked out.

• Robert (8/5): - Quiet, Beautiful Garden. Great Breakfast. Hosts were friendly and helpful. You need transport to go anywhere...beach, township, backwaters. We regret not booking somewhere closer to town or the beach with a pool and bar.

El desayuno es espectacular!!También ofrecen cenas!!! La comida riquísima!!! El lugar es increíblemente acogedor, con preciosas terrazas y muy buen gusto en la decoración. Muy buena ubicación!! Se puede ir caminando al centro y muy cerca de donde salen los barcos. Todo perfecto!!

• Eduardo (9/5): Osis enmig d’Alleppey - El millor d’aquest allotjament és la ubicació i el personal. Es troba allunyat del caos d’Alleppey, amb un jardinet ple de plantes molt ben cuidat. Tot el seu personal és encantador, especialment en Biju i la dona que prepara els esmorzars, súper amable. L’ambient és molt familiar i ho apreciem moltíssim. Els esmorzars son generosos: amb molta varietat de fruita, possibilitat de truita i pa. Finalment, també cal valorar que ofereixen servei de bugaderia. La pica del lavabo és extremadament petita i no hi ha espai per deixar res. Per altra banda, canviaríem algunes coses de l’excursió que ens van organitzar per les Backwaters. Sortirím més d’hora, no a les 10h com nosaltres, perquè fa moltíssima calor. Segona, sortiríem des de Kainakary i no des del port principal, perquè vam passar la major part del temps en canals amples sense encant.

Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec du vrai café . Faites une excursion en Shikara c’est vraiment très bien . Tout était parfait
• Sean (10/5): Felt at home. - Bella was a delight. I was apprehensive at the higher price point at first but as soon as I arrived those feelings completely disappeared. Biju welcomed me warmly with fresh juice and fruits. He and Sunitha were delightful, friendly, helpful, and hospitable, giving me (great) suggestions on how to spend my time, providing an excellent breakfast and yummy snacks, and always greeting me when I got back with big smiles. I really felt like I was at home. Rooms are lovely, quiet, spacious, and well-maintained. Courtyard is the best place to sit and read or chat away the hot hours. Library is full of books. The garden is epic.i wouldn't stay anywhere else next time in Alleppey.

• Graeme (10/5): A fantastic homestay in Alleppey. Stay here if you can. - It’s a fantastic homestay in Alleppey. Great, quiet location. Very clean and very comfortable. Staff couldn’t have done more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Biju helped enormously by arranging most of our travel and booking us on a backwater tour in a Shikara. It was fantastic. Sunita was wonderful as well. A superb, different breakfast every day and it was great to hear her stories. Jayashri was there to welcome us and obviously kept things running smoothly. Nothing comes to mind.
• Laurent (10/5): Superbe ! - Guesthouse très agréable, très propre, confortable. Biju, le proprietaire est absolument génial, nous sommes sentis tout de suite comme à la maison. Biju nous a arrangé les transferts et surtout le très beau et agréable tour en bateau. Nous avons eu droit à une visite privée. Je recommande vivement. Le jardin de la maison est petit mais beau avec beaucoup d'oiseaux. La maison se trouve dans un coin calme de la ville. En dehors du backwater, il n'y a pas grande chose à faire à Alleppey. Nous sommes encore plus contente d'avoir un petit coin de paradis, au calme, comme chez Bella. Le petit dej local est simple mais genereux, avec beaucoup de fruits savoureux du Kerala. On se sent vraiment très bien chez Biju. Il y a très peu de choix de resto aux alentours. Vous pouvez par contre vous faire livrer le repas du soir ou si vous avez de la chance, commander directement auprès de Biju et on vous sert de la cuisine maison.

It was very well located in terms of activities too. I would go back in a heartbeat.
