Guest Reviews
- Suzanne (8/5): Goed - super schoon
compleet appartement, alles is aanwezig
wasmachine
perfecte locatie dicht in het levendige travestere, maar in een lekker rustige straat de douches zijn niet fijn, terwijl dit volgens mij heel makkelijk is op te lossen met een andere douchekop
- andrew (9/5): Excellent location with enough space for two families - The appartment space, facilities, location were all excellent. The person handing over the keys was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with plates/cutlery/ cups/glasses and essentials for cooking. Having two bath/shower areas was great.
- V (7/5): prima - Geen ontbijt, was een appartement. Locatie prima loodgieterwerk beetje gammel. Twee badkamers maar douche in bad werkt niet zo goed.
- Rene (10/5): - Lå i et perfekt område, tæt på det hele Deres AC larmede ekstremt meget.

- Robert (8/5): Lovely place, brilliant location, just had wifi issues - Had issues with the wifi
- Sergio (10/5): a fabulous location the children enjoyed the space Trastevere is a hidden gem - The location was sxcellent near everything you could want to do the sofa bed was uncomfortable
- Lia (8/5): Very good - Old charming building. Original floors, doors and windows in the apt. Air conditioning in three out of 4 rooms. Spacious bathrooms and updated kitchen. Perfect location for a local experience of Rome. Kids playground a block away. The room without air con could not be used as we visited during the heat of Aug. if you have air cons on you cannot use the oven as it overloads electrical panel. Air cons dripped water and we had to place buckets underneath.
- Lina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kieran (7/5): Good - Spacious. Well équiped. 2 out of 3 AC did not worked. Had a hard time with the front door lock.
- Claudia (6/5): it was ok - the location was great and the air conditioning apt was not very clean and did not have essentials like toilette paper and our host did not have a map to help us find our way around
- Darcey (9/5): Beautiful apartment in the middle of Trastevere! - We loved this place!! Started off so well with being met at the door early to hand over keys and get into the apartment- the lady was SO lovely and we couldn’t wait to get in.
It’s in such a beautiful location, right in the heart of Trastevere so humming with bars and people but felt really safe. There’s corner shops and cafes nearby, so you don’t need to venture out too far if you dint want to. The building itself is beautiful and old, with an original lift to get up to the 3rd floor.
The apartment is gorgeous, and it felt like we’d moved into the city living there. We were spread across all the bedrooms, and the beds were comfy and nicely presented. Having the TV with Amazon prime and Netflix was such an awesome bonus and meant we could have a cute movie night after a day exploring. It was just nicely laid out for our group to connect and base ourselves out of for the week. There were dining recommendations for the area which we used but found honestly everything is good!
Kitchen had everything we needed (except olive oil haha) so we were able to make some home cooked meals and eat them at the dining table together. Two bathrooms was a saving grace, both have a shower and toilet, and the water pressure was great.
Overall I cant fault our stay here, it was so nice and one of our favourite places we stayed on the trip, really great for families or friends with the bed set ups. It’s not super ideal for couples as it’s one queen bed, then a single in one room and two singles next to each other, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. So I think it would best suit families or friends due to this? But we were a group of friends so didn’t actually matter for us, it honestly worked better than most places!
- Monique (7/5): Good - Location is perfect. Showers were extremely awkward, as stated in previous reviews, and honestly would be an easy fix if they would just do it. AC units leak and one was broken.
- Carol (6/5): Difficult to get a good nights sleep here. - The location was great. The building was old and charming. The windows wouldn't stay open. If there was a cross breeze they would slam shut. There was no way of stopping it from happening. They were old and not sound proof so we heard all the street noises even with the windows closed. The doors were incredibly big and very loud when they closed and slammed when there was a breeze. They need to modernize the windows and doors.
The furniture was old and outdated.
- François (7/5): Good address in Trastevere - Nice place and nice situation in Roma. An old and stylish building in a living area of city.
Confortable appartment, we were 6 people (5 adults & 2 kids) and we feel enought space for all.
Good communication and reactivity from Halldis.

- Bruce (6/5): Una estancia aceptable, pero sin contacto para corregir problemas. - Tamaño de las habitaciones y del apartamento sobretodo. There was no “Owner’s Request for Comment” form in the apartment. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that we discovered many defects in the apartment, since the renters cannot easily communicate them to the owner(s).
Most important defects:
1. Glass splash panel on bathtub in large bathroom was incorrectly installed so that it swings open on its hinges. When a person takes a shower he normally begins by facing the shower head and will not notice that the water is streaming out of the unenclosed bathtub area, leaving the bathroom floor flooded.
2. The bidet in the large bathroom is not anchored to the floor by the bolts intended for this purpose. Consequently, water from the bidet flows out when the bidet moves under the weight of the person using it. So much flooding of this floor cannot help but cause some decay underneath the flooring material.
3. The screen filter on the tap of the bidet in the smaller bathroom is missing, causing a strong steady stream to shoot out onto the floor, flooding the floor almost instantly. I reported this to Halldis and the lady there tried twice to get the owners to address the problem, but during our five-day stay no one came.
4. The shower head in the smaller bathroom shoots out a small driving stream of water that feels almost like needles. We were forced to unscrew the shower head from the shower in the big bathroom and “lend” it to the family members using the smaller bathroom, then return it to the bigger bathroom for the others.
5. The support for the shower head in the larger bathroom does not maintain an upright position to hold the shower head steady, so that it falls repeatedly during the course of the shower. A plastic or rubber washer placed inside the fitting should easily correct this defect, if the owners don’t want to invest in an inexpensive replacement shower head support.
6. There is a sign in the larger bathroom that instructs guests to not throw anything except toilet paper
- Pauline (8/5): perfect for a rome city break - location nothing
- Greta (9/5): Superb - The appartment was very clean and spacious. Perfect for a family of 5 but can hold more since there is a convertible in the living room.
The area is very nice and all convenient stores can be found.
Walking distance to the city center.
We definitely will be back. We arrived in the middle of the night and there was no water or coffee neither shower gel. Also no sponge or cleaning towels, neither broom so it was not easy to do the minimum daily cleaning.
- Wilson (10/5): The perfect central location to explore the city at a great value! - The location is great! So many awesome shops and places for all three (or four) meals in a day 😉. Don’t be afraid to get “lost” in the city, you’ll always find some social hub nearby, and Dandolo in Trastevere was at the very center of the action! 15 minutes walk and even shorter on the Lime scooter from every major attraction in Roma. The showers were very awkward in shape/size/accessibility. The large bathroom’s shower door didn’t stay closed until we shoved a towel inside.
- Maya (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, so beautiful
