• Aamir (4/5): Old, pricey, needs full bathroom redo. No internet. Not coming back. - Location is very good and central. Has air conditioning but unit was noisy. That is about it. I don't usually write very detailed reviews, but after such a poor experience, I feel I have a duty to inform another potential guest about this apartment. Apartment is old. They made some attempts at renovation but I think it fails. It feels run down. Hard to find the apartment on top of a commercial building. First you take the main stairs or an elevator, then you have a small almost hidden door way to 2nd sub stairs with small door, then go and navigate down a twisting corridor towards another small door that leads to the 3rd and final set of small steps to the apartment. It is easy to get lost looking for the actual apartment. Tiny ants on one of he beds when we arrived, suspect came in through the partially open window when we arrived. A casino is located on the ground floor of this building also, quite noisy especially on weekend. The door to the combined Bathroom and shower had a faulty door mechanism. The bathroom door handle was working fair when we arrived, but then we got stuck inside as it would not open as the handle would not engage the mechanism (see picture) of the door handle as the handle would move up and down but not engage the door mechanism. One of our family members was locked inside for 30-45 minutes. Not much help from management. Also, the apartment listing on BOOKING.COM stated WIFI internet available but no WIFI or Internet when we arrived. The shower needs a makeover as it is old. It is small with a glass wooden frame window literally in the shower, never seen that before. The wood framed frosted glass window is rotten (see picture) from the water that constantly falls on it when you shower. A pull down porous blind in front of the window does not help (see photo), water still gets on the window and the wood frame. The bathroom roof finish has cracks. We will not stay here again. For the price they charged, it is misleading. Place is old, shower has no WIFI internet and I would avoid. Good luck if you end up stay here :)

• Rex (7/5): Good - Centrally located in Madrid. Lots to do and see within wallikng distance. Lift only goes to 4th floor. Not hteat access up the last 2 floors of stairs Had to wait on access instructions despite having notified arrival time of 2-3pm

The apartment was not clean (sheets and pillows) and it needs complete renovation of the plumbing, electrical, windows and ceiling. bad image for an apartment in an excellent location.

• Gwenaelle (2/5): Very poor - The place was dirty and very old. It is in bad need of some repairs. The mattress was too big for the bed frame and the bed sheet too small for the mattress. There was other people's toe nails on the floor, the toilet seat was broken, the curtain in the shower was moldy, the staff will only correspond with you via a WhatsApp group and when you ask for something they often don't bother replying.
• María (1/5): Horrible, not worth the money experience. - Nothing The place had a lot of dust, mold on the ceiling and in the shower curtains, weird stains in the bathroom, also too many stairs to go up, couldn’t open the window and hallways and room smelled terrible. My mom couldn’t go up so many stairs and had to change hotel the next day. Also, the photos of the room aren’t updates because all the amenities were scratched and broken. Very very used and in bad state. Will never recommend. Downstairs smells like piss.

• Patricia (6/5): Pleasant - - great location - comfortable beds - good air conditioning - spacious room - communication via whatsup with staff - everyday hustle to arrive to the room door (elevator, steps, locked door, more steps) - the elevator broke for one day, so we had to climb 4 more floors - no soap for sink - not enough towels - no cold water in the sink - no wifi - the shower curtain does not open/close and was so dirty - the AC does high noises once on
• Leandro (10/5): Exceptional - Ok, first you have to take into consideration the price. You probably won't find anywhere as nice in the same location for the same price. It's walking distance to most of the attractions and plenty of restaurants and bars around. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and aircon worked very well in the hottest days. Shower has great pressure, soap and shampoo were included with the stay - which is not exactly common for budget accommodation. Communication was quick and easy through whatsapp. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends and family. It's kind of a maze to get to the apartment. However, the instructions given by text were super detailed and made it super easy to find. If you have mobility issues, probably not the ideal place.

• Mohamed (8/5): Excellent location, good room size. We will probably stay there again. - The location was perfect. Overlooking Puerta del So,l so close to everything. The room size was good and the facilities were good. We had to go 3 floors up carrying out suitcases which wasn't very pleasant. The hotel staff created a WhatsApp group to communicate with us. Maybe I am old but I definitely think the presence of staff to talk to face to face is much appreciated.
• Sofia (1/5): Do not recommend at all - Location at Portas do Sol Service and organization is absolutely terrible. Creating a WhatsApp group way to do check in, only after we insisted (it was already 17h00!!!) only to receive some codes, especially with 15 more people on the same group is absolutely ridiculous. Our ID cards were sent to this group and our entry codes were shared with other people. It’s ridiculous. The room was heated but the bathroom was really really cold. Only 1 bed was made, the other 2 weren’t. The sheets on the closet for the single beds were couple bed’s sheets. The way to the room inside the building smells really bad and it’s such a mess. For the price we paid, we should have had a way better experience.
