• Emilia (10/5): - Beautiful historical Villa with a lush garden. I had a great time staying here. The room is very basic, but also cheap. Therefore you can't expect much. The garden was my favorite place to hang out. There is just a fan in the room and its definitely too hot.

• Emmanuelle (10/5): Un petit havre de paix - L’emplacement est idéal, à 10 min à pied du centre et de la plage et 15 min à pied de la gare. Le jardin est un véritable havre de paix très calme où il est agréable de s’y poser et d’y observer toutes sortes d’animaux (singes, paons, etc). La déco est minimaliste et splendide et tout était propre. Les propriétaires sont super gentils et très bienveillants.
• Diego (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable villa, with the best staff and owner possible. - It’s a beautiful old villa with a lot of character but the best was the owner and staff, the best! My friend had a big blister in her foot and the owner cleaned up himself with his med kit. And the guy that works there as staff is the sweetest man, thank you for everything again.
• Irina (10/5): - I spent two wonderful nights in this lovely villa. I loved the interior design and the hospitality of the host. Everything went smoothly, and the location was very convenient. The train can be disturbing for a light sleepers, so use the earplugs 🙂
• Gaien (10/5): - It’s an incredibly beautiful private villa, surrounded by lush greenery. Tall coconut trees bear golden coconuts, and I lay on the hammock under them, amazed by its beauty and peace. A little squirrel even came to visit quietly. I could easily spend half a day here, enjoying the gentle breeze, reading a book, or just daydreaming. What’s more, I was lucky enough to meet the friendly owner — Pahan, who is smart and eager to learn. He showed me many old photos of the house, which were so interesting. He grew up here and now works in Colombo. I wish him all the best, and may this lovely house be filled with warmth and happiness forever.

• Andrea (10/5): Stilvolle Villa mit ruhigem Garten - Ich wurde extrem herzlich empfangen und verbrachte eine tolle Zeit in Weligama. Die Vila ist renoviert und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, die Zimmer schlicht und mit allem, was man braucht. Zu Fuss erreicht man den Strand und die Cafes etc. problemlos. Ich genoss es sehr, nach einem aktiven Tag jeweils zurück in diesen schönen ruhigen Garten zu kommen.

• Célia (6/5): Zero good vibe only good looking building. - The house keeper altough very little english was helpful on attending requests. There is a insect difusor that works. Garden is nice. Room is not entirely closed , the top part of the window is always open , different bugs and lizards can come in.

• Igor (10/5): Exceptional - This Villa was absolutely lovely. Staff members are brilliant and would love to say biggest thanks to all of them. Garden is amazing place where to spend your free time full of hammocks and furniture. location 10/10 definitely recommend staying here.
• Grace (10/5): Exceptional - I absolutely loved staying here. They have a super comfortable room and the entire house was done up so beautifully and tastefully. Comfortable bed and lots of hammocks in the shade for you to lounge around. The owner, Pahan, goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and is always there to have a chat or help out when you need any assistance. I'm a little concerned that the windows to the room is kinda see through
• Siso (10/5): Amazing - I had a wonderful stay at this place! The manager is incredibly nice and friendly, and I had the pleasure of chatting with him a few times. He was also very helpful when I wasn’t feeling well. The room was clean and comfortable, which made my stay so pleasant. The garden is absolutely stunning, and there are plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy. Highly recommend!
• Amrita (10/5): Exceptional - Everything with this house was amazing! Pahan and Nima were fantastic people. We ate and saw how to cook their local food. Such an amazing experience. We celebrated Sri Lanka’s Independence Day with them and families! They thought of everything a tourist would want and made it so special. I even had a birthday there and they thought of me! We would usually sit in the evening with Pahan and talk. So lovely! It’s close to the beach and the local bus will take you to mirissa and ahangama in ten min. If you have the chance to stay at this Villa. Do it! We will miss them both!

• Sarojini (10/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable! - The property was absolutely amazing! The guesthouse is beautiful and very accessible via Tuk Tuks. The host is very welcoming as well. We had the traditional breakfast there which was delicious! Would 10/10 recommend.

• Ishan (9/5): Calm, clean, and welcoming - highly recommend! - Had a wonderful stay! The calm environment, clean rooms, and beautiful garden made it perfect for relaxation. The friendly owner’s warm hospitality was a highlight. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay! It would be better if all the rooms had AC :)
• Aleksandra (9/5): Good place to relax - Newly renovated villa, exceeds the typical Sri Lankan standards. Nice garden. It is quite far from both the beach and the city center.
• Giovi (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful and unique guest house with a warm welcome! My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Weligamma Gerada which we have no hesitation in recommending to other travelers. The architecture and interior design of the house is brilliant (we left with ideas to take home). It is also exceptionally clean, had a good hot and cold shower and a well equipped kitchen with washing machine for guests use, making it ideal for both short and longer stays. There are several different living spaces in the house and a large peaceful garden to relax in. The property is well located for all Weligamma has to offer whilst being in a peaceful neighbourhood surrounded by other attractive Sri Lankan homes which we enjoyed admiring as we wandered around. Our host provided us with a warm welcome on arrival and was kind and considerate throughout our stay. If we return to Weligamma we will definitely return here and recommend others take the opportunity to stay in such a lovely setting.
• Timon (10/5): Outstanding experience - The room is very comfy and clean. Located in a newly renovated old villa with a beautiful garden which gives the impression of a boutique hotel - but for a much lower rate. Just a couple of minutes walking to the beach or city center. The owner family and the staff is extremely kind and even invited me to just join their dinner. You can really tell that they put in great effort to build up that place. Definitely my favorite guesthouse after spending 4 weeks in Sri Lanka.
• Halyna (10/5): The best house in Weligama - It's a beautiful, clean, fully equipped, modern house overlooking the garden. It is an unforgettable atmosphere of connection with nature. Not far from the city center. This is the best place in Weligama where we stayed. The owner deserves special comment - a highly educated, kind, and caring man. Communicating with him and staying in this beautiful house was a pleasure.
