Guest Reviews
- Molly-louise (10/5): Comfortable and welcoming - Lovely, clean and very well equipped Signal was hard work! But in this day and age a detox from the internet is good for you
- Michael Hatton (9/5): - Very spacious and modern in a very peaceful location. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of parking space. No complaints.
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent location beautiful views lovely accommodation - Excellent location for visiting family in Canterbury. Only 10 minutes to the centre of Canterbury. Lovely country location very peaceful. Very well equipped accommodation everything we need for a short stay or longer. Plenty of parking space. Can’t complain about anything

- Noelle (10/5): - It is a superb property nestled in the countryside, providing a peaceful atmosphere. There is plenty of space for parking (just mind the bunnies in the evening!) The property is conveniently located near Canterbury, with local amenities available in the nearby village of Blean. It is very clean, spacious, and well-presented, with plenty of natural light in the rooms. The rooms are warm, and there are nice views as well. The kitchen is a delight for people who, like us, love cooking: an oven, a large stove, plenty of pots and pans, a spacious fridge, a wide assortment of crockery, glasses, and plates, two kitchen tables, etc. Nothing. We absolutely loved it!
- Karen (10/5): - Beautifully decorated and equipped cottage in a quiet and scenic location, plenty of parking. The owners have thought of everything and there are excellent facilities, everything we needed. We loved every aspect of this cottage. Can't think of any dislikes!
- Douglas (9/5): A really pleasant stay in a really pleasant cottage. - Warm welcome. Spotless, well-equipped property. Beds very comfortable. Most pleasant, quiet, outlook. In the countryside yet very well situated for access to local and regional attractions. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a thoroughly enjoyable cottage with a most sympathetic and helpful host. I hate this question, but always try to come up with something that could have been improved upon, since one rarely comes across the absolute ideal. On this occasion, however, I have to say that we found nothing upon which we would wish to improve.
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful relaxing stay in a comfortable cottage - Absolutely loved our stay. The property was even better in person than in the pictures. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with equipment, the beds were comfortable, and the boardgames, puzzles, and books were loved by our kids. It was also very clean - our youngest has a dust allergy but she didn't suffer at all while we were staying. Tony was an excellent host, very welcoming and accommodating and our kids loved getting to wander outside and meet his dogs. Great location too, very easy for visiting multiple things nearby without any difficulty. Honestly it was a great stay, but if I were to be really nit-picky it would have been nice to have some scales in the kitchen and some extra basic cooking things like oil.
- Neelan (7/5): Clean, modern rural. Great location, tad pricey … - Clean , modern Bit expensive
- Mark (10/5): An all-round excellent accomidation - This is an all round excellent accomidation. Stayed there for 2 weeks as I was working in Kent. Location is Great. Superdly equipt kitchen. Loads of Parking. Pieceful and tranquel, and only 10 mins from Canterbury or Whitstable. Lovely owners. Perfect for Holidays and Business. WiFI was perfectly usable at 25Mb/s Nothing, all really well thought out
- Homewood (10/5): absolutely lovely - quiet and wonderful i liked everything
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Elaine (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (9/5): Overall - Just quite excellent - First class appliances, comfortable furniture, quiet countryside setting, and, of course...LOCATION. There is always somethings a visitor would have liked to have on site - in our case they were: a non-slip bath mat, a small sharp knife and a small upright ashpan and brush. That said, it was one of the very best equipped holiday accommodation properties we have stayed in.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (7/5): Good value for a "Girls" weekend with family. - Well equipped kitchen with all the appliances you could need. Plenty of parking. Wi-fi worked well, and was needed as the phone signal was almost non-existent. There are many changes of level up small steps across different rooms, so although it is a single story building it's not really accessible. No coffee table in the lounge area so we brought the outside table in from the terrace.
- Patricia (10/5): Super lovely weekend - we'll be back;))))))) - We loved everything. The location was super quiet, lovely starry sky at night. Perfect for excursions to Whitstable, Canterbury and Brogdale Farm where we went for apple picking - highly recommended! Also nice walks around Faversham and along the sea. An absolute beautiful area with lots to do, and not far from London at all. We were also very impressed by the cottage. Brand new, sparkling clean, fully equipped kitchen, nice outdoor area for a morning coffee in the October sun, very comfy beds and nice soft carpet in the bedrooms. Big bathroom with lots of storage space. And really nice and approachable owners who gave us valuable tips for restaurants etc. Will deffo be back. Thank you!!!!!
- Stephen (9/5): very relaxing and ideal for chilling whatever the weather - we only met the owners very briefly , they were very helpful. the location was very quiet, but very easy to get to Canterbury and the coast , Seasalter and Whitstable. also good and easy access to the motorway for the Journey home .
The premises was very clean and was very comfortable some of the light in the Kitchen were not marked up , so it was difficult to work out what they were for i.e. fridge , cooker extractor and under cabinet lights
- Tara (9/5): Superb - Lovely quiet location. Easy access by car to both Canterbury and the coast at Whitstable.
- Matt (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (10/5): Lovely, well presented properly with great hosts - Beautiful location and very well presented property, good communication from the hosts, clean and comfortable accommodation The only thing missing from the kitchen was a pair of scissors
- Jcm (9/5): Gorgeous, whe come back - Probably the best location on our trip. Very modern and nice place in an green environment. It was a bit difficult to find, but a big suprise when we were there. Everything we had at home was there. We walked to the bus stop (twenty minutes) en went to Canterburry. Tony gave us some details, he is a very nice guy. Beware of the tresholds, but that s no problem at all when you are there.
- Anthony (10/5): Amazing stay amazing property - A great modern property with plenty of space. Very quiet and helpful owners . We well recommend this hotel for others.
- Beau (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for us with quick access to Canterbury and Whitstable. The cottage was clean, tidy and well maintained. Highly recommend for a great place to relax after a day full of activities.
