• Diane (9/5): This is a wonderful home in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and will come definitely return. - Great location. Wonderful spacious accommodations. We met the owners who were so nice and shared so much with us about the area. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable with private bathrooms. I was especially happy that they provided a coffee pot in addition to the tea pot. Out group enjoyed playing games at the very large table and visiting the tea house close by. Dryer took a very long time to dry clothes and smelled a bit musky. Maybe the filter needed to be cleaned, but we couldn't figure out where it was. Can opener was a bit intimidating, but the standard for Japan.

• Kimiko (10/5): Great location and clean. - We enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese home in the historic district. Easy walking to shopping and a Starbucks. Some Uber drivers had difficulty finding it but most did not.

• Roehl (10/5): Very clean home and location was convenient - The home was very clean and the location was convenient. One of the bathrooms in the bedrooms was very dim. A second light should be added.
• Spike (8/5): 很不錯的地點，但舒適度還要再加強。 - 位於最熱鬧的四條大橋附近10分鐘路程，附近交通四通八達，吃喝玩樂也都非常方便。房間不算很新但還算整潔，每間房都有自己獨立的浴室和廁所不互相干擾，空間很大。 一些小地方，像是枕頭太軟，應該要有備品讓住客可以直接取用，咖啡機、乾衣架等都蠻老舊的，應該適時更新，牙刷備品的品質還可以更好。餐廳椅子可以加一些坐墊，這樣會更舒服些。

• Pang (10/5): Very Good Experience Staying at Kyoto! - Location is the best! We love the location of the spot + the WiFi !!! It is a very wonderful exp living here when we were at Kyoto. Our flight was really late and we thought there may be trouble on the key but finally it was solved perfectly. During the trip, there is a lighting issue in one of the room and they were super responsive to help! Thank you thank you. NA

• Prita (10/5): Great stay! Good location and lovely place - Clean and nice property. Very well managed. Liked that the property has 3 ensuite bathrooms. Checkout was very early at 10 am. Would have been good to get check out around 1 pm or noon.

• Brian (9/5): Lovely home near Gion restaurants and transit, easily sleeping our party of 7. - This is a nice, clean home near Gion with easy walking to many local restaurants and transit stations and stops. It easily accommodated our group of 7 people. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room and laundry. It is very clean and well kept with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful: I mentioned a very minor lightbulb issue and they sent someone to fix it within a hour! This is minor, but it is near a busy street. It’s not loud at night but is noticeable during the day. Nearby outside lights prevent the rooms from getting completely dark (but didn’t really bother any of us). Also while it is very close to the river, you cannot actually see the river from inside the house.
• Emma (10/5): The perfect accomodation for 4 to 6 people in a great location - Great stay! It was perfect for a weekend in Kyoto. We couldn't be happier with the property. We wish we could have stayed longer. The self check in was smooth but had a little trouble finding it when we first arrived (Even though it's right on the main street as we got dropped around the side). Great onsens inside with beautiful furnishings. The 10am checkout should be later.. Some construction next to us was quite loud through the thin walls.

• Louise (10/5): Wonderful stay for family holiday - Great communication for instructions for key lock entry, finding the place and recommendations for restaurants. Most impressed with the ease and speed of accessing the wifi just with scanning a QR code provided. All appliance instructions were also provided via QR codes if needed. Lovely villa with clean spacious rooms, each with their own bathrooms / toilets. Kitchen well equipped. Very happy with location and ease of travel by train (we travelled from Osaka). Umbrellas provided in case of rain (luckily not needed during our stay). Loved the Gion experience, thank you. Comfortably accomodated 6 of us. No couch / lounge area for family to relax together. Instead, we sat on the wooden dining table seats when wanting to chat and relax, watching T.V together and eating, which was fine but would have been nice to have more comfortable couch area option too for when we were not eating. Overall, this is a minor issue. There was some construction works down the lane on the side of the villa during our stay, so apart from some morning noise next to bedroom windows, we were not particularly disturbed as we were out most of the day anyway. Again, just a minor issue.

The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and just a short walk to the shopping area, The house itself was clean and neat, kitchen equipped with everything we needed ;We were very satisfied with all the amenities provided and truly appreciated . Highly recommend this 3bd rm and 3 beth rm place to anyone looking for a great experience!
• Dwayne (10/5): Wonderful classic Kyoto home. - Fantastic home. It’s huge! It has 3 big bedrooms, 3 amazing shower rooms and 4 separate toilets. The beddings are very comfortable. The location is right within walking distance to major sites. Everything is clean and well organized. None
• Chapman (10/5): perfect place to stay - this place had everything you could need, was suitable for a family and in a great location. Easy to get to and clear instructions. we would stay there again. nothing about the place itself, but we couldn't deliver our luggage there so just something to think about if you're a family.
• Azman (8/5): Awesome place for a group or family. - The location is great. It's very walkable from the Gion-Shijo station. Eateries are nearby and overall, easy access to nearby landmarks and attractions. As for the house, there were three of us, and each of us had our own bathroom; which is great for privacy. I suppose we wish we'd be able to stay here longer. One night is not enough for Kyoto but we were out of time. So we would definitely return.

• 3aidaroos (8/5): Good Villa, but lacks a living room - You get three full suites, each with its separate bathroom and bathtub, which is excellent. One of the rooms has a wooden bathtub which is magnificent. The location is good, around a 7 minute walk to Gion Station, and 12 minute walk to Poncho, and 15 Minute walk to Yasaka. The main issue is that there was unfortunately no living room. There is a dining table in the main area and another table, but the place overall feels more like a small hotel rather than a villa. For the price maybe that is ok, but not having a common area where guests can rest together takes away part of the fun of staying together in a villa. The early and strict checkout time at 10 am is quite restrictive. Usually it is 12pm in other places.

We will be back! - The location was close to a million historical sites, but also to wonderful restaurants and stores. Our host left a good list of places to eat. The place itself was beautiful with both western and traditional rooms - including a washer and dryer. the host was very helpful and accomodating. We have stayed at many homes in Japan and this was by far the best! we liked everything
