• shamgar (7/5): Great, but inconsistent staff experience. Some need more training. - A special mention to staff Stanson & Shamayne. Who always assisted and met us with big smiles on their faces. Food was good, the place is beautiful. A few hiccups here & there. But the 2 above mentioned staff were standout in making our experience great. The inconsistency with staff, we had a waiter (name forgotten) who spend the entirety of breakfast looking for honey for us. My wife ended up walking to the buffet and finding one herself. He also messed up our breakfast order, so that was slightly disappointing.
• Andreas (9/5): Fantastischer Aufenhalt im Nyanga Nation Park - Die Lodge liegt abseits der Straße an einem Hang mit wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Es ist super ruhig und entspannend. Das Zimmer ist modern und komfortabel ausgestattet, Balkon auf dem wir in Ruhe entspannen konnten. Sehr gute Küche, Frühstück und Abendessen war von hervorragender Qualität. Das Personal sehr professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt.

• sylvester (10/5): A peaceful, hidden gem in a rocky valley—exactly the kind of place you don’t want to leave. - The place is so cool and quiet—it felt like a real escape. Staying here with my brothers was honestly a healing experience. Tucked away in this rocky valley, it feels like you’ve discovered a hidden gem that not many people know about. Not much to complain about. If anything, the remoteness might not suit everyone, but that’s also part of what makes it special.

• Margret (10/5): Außergewöhnlich schöne Lodge - Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet und bieten einen außergewöhnlich schönen Ausblick. Der Service und das Essen sind auch unglaublich gut. Vor Ort hat man auch die Möglichkeit Ausflüge zu buchen, was praktisch ist, wenn man wie wir ohne Auto unterwegs ist. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und empfehlen die Lodge auf jeden Fall weiter.

The property was also very clean Signage to get to the property is very clear and distinct. You can’t get lost. The stairs from the Parking area to the reception and rooms are quite a Lot. But then again that’s a good workout!

I love the place - The property is exclusive, ideal for honey moon, business meetings and anyone who wants good quiet quality time. The atmosphere is relaxing and conducive for team building. I liked everything about the property. Its location, staff, the manager Jonathan friendly and humble Rooms clean and value for money.
• Evans (9/5): Superb - What a peaceful, beautiful, and lovely place. I loved almost everything about this place. Nature at its best.. Wifi was on and off most of the time .I think it's because of its mountainous location. They said they are already working on finding a permanent solution.

It was spacious and felt luxurious with the whole complex having been recently refurbished. The standard of the finishes, linen, towels etc was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. Many thanks to Patience, MT, Jonathan, Stansion, Rufaro, Nyarie, Chef Bryan and the rest of the Rupurura Valley staff who all worked so hard to give us top notch personalised service. The glass doors to the bathroom were a little unusual!

• Ciciana (9/5): Superb - Amazing rooms! Furnishings are top of the class. They are massive and super clean. I have been to many countries across continents and this was easily the best room I have ever stayed in. Staff were kind, quick and helpful. The meals are really expensive. Had to travel to a nearby hotel where you can get a decent meal for 14% of the price at Rupurara. Too many stairs to get to the reception, it's not easily accessible for those with accessibility issues.

• Kezito (8/5): An exclusive, luxurious and relaxing environment from the hustle and bustle - The rooms are strategically situated to capture the amazing views, especially from the Shumba Suite, which are to die for. They are clean and very comfortable. The sounds of the stream, birds and rustle of the wind in the Msasa trees make for a great serenade for those relaxed moments.The chef is great and very creative. The breakfast was well varied and well presented. The dinner is a set menu with a few options for mains and was also very well made and presented. The dining service, like the rest of the service, was excellent and the staff is very courteous and professional. Rupurara is a good place to explore the eastern highlands from. The price of a bottle of wine was on the too high side.
