Guest Reviews
- Serene (5/5): We recently stayed at Williston Lake Resort. The location itself is beautiful with very nice views, and the scenery arou - The view The staff and the loose dog
- Jocelyn (6/5): - The food was excellent. I spent time with the horses, amd loved the fact they had chickens for fresh eggs in the morning. The bathroom was a bit dated, but it was clean, and the towels were soft.
- Jessica (8/5): Would recommend and would return - Location, great staff, restaurant, facility, pet-friendly Noise, mainly from the person staying above me
- Mustapha (5/5): Coffee is so good - The location and the view to the lake and how this lodge is built on artisanal wood fantastic The breakfast wasn’t that great
They add an extra charge on our kid even if there no crib for him and even if he is not over 3 years
- Herbert (9/5): -
- Angelou (5/5): Passable - Too many flies. There’s no activities. No air condition so it’s too hot.
- Andrei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): Superb - Beautiful place. Great staff, awesome food. I had no complaints at all. They had our room ready an hour early.
- Dennise (9/5): Will stay there again. - Beautiful log lodge overlooking Williston Lake. Great friendly staff.
- Laura (10/5): Meeting French traveling staff in Hudson Hope - What a stunning retreat from the world. And terrific that the staff is comprised of young travelers as well.
The log lodge is a stunning piece of architecture, though the kitchen would benefit from better ventilation.
I arrived on a quite hot day in BC and was so relieved to be shown a below ground room that was cool and comfortable given the building normally needs no air conditioning.
The dinner prepared smelled, and apparently tasted, scrumptious though I did not partake. (My error). The Chef did assist me to steep some ginger tea to help with my travel beverages.
I was also able to have a small bag of ice to amend my thermal Wawa cup.
The esthetics of the bedroom were pleasing. Rooms are available on the ground level, but there are stairs for rooms up and down. It's a privilege to be able to climb them. It's just helpful to know this information up front.
There are several residual holes in walls, possibly from a vacuum system? I found a couple of tiny beetles and a tick that I might have dragged in on the walls. But possibly they came through these vents?
The shower curtain would benefit with weights or magnets at the lower corners.
- Martin (8/5): Beautiful view and enjoyed walks on the beach. - Nice breakfast. Didn't find the coffee as good as hoped for. A rich, fresh coffee is probably one of the best memories of a place in my opinion and those type of good memories tend to bring people back.
- Katlin (6/5): good but needs a big hot tub on the deck and better mattresses pillow top ones - beautiful spot nice lodge they need a hot tub out on the deck a big one with a gazebo the mattress are in need of changing very hard on body old wire ones need switched with cumfuffy pillow top ones

- Empong (10/5): The Hidden Gem of Hudson's Hope - Just around 20 minutes outside the town, the place is truly on a different level and I think this is one of the great lodge to stay in north peace region, you have the options to either book in a lake view or mountain view, the dinner and breakfast is special, the room temperature is well maintained, the view outside our room is stunning, we will definitely go back there this coming summer to experience fishing and camping.
Lastly, the northern lights showed up and we took a lot of pictures of it :) Outdoor wall light lamp is not working.
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - My husband and I stayed at Williston lake lodge for the night as a nice break for just the two of us. The location of this lodge is beautiful, the overall feel of the place is very relaxed and the food was exceptional.
