We felt right at home from the very start. The breakfast was also amazing! There is nothing we did not like.

I was bright and wel lit, great views of the loch. very nice decor and comortable beds. Our host Lorna was delightful and full of scottish charm. The walk to the main town was a little further than I was looking for but this was no surpise.

Hosts were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The floors are a bit uneven (as is expected w/an older home) so you have to watch your step a bit.

It's beautifully situated with views of Loch Linnhe , and is only a short walk into the Fort William shopping precinct. My room was one of the smaller ones, but absolutely fine for a solo traveller...would suit a couple without too much luggage as well. Lorna is a fabulous hostess; she was welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived, and had many helpful suggestions regarding local shops, and activities in Fort William...and breakfast was always a delight. I'd highly recommend Buccleuch; I'd love to go back one day. Leaving when my stay was over.

Es gibt Parkplätze für die Gäste und das Frühstück ist gut, Auswahl in Ordnung. Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoß, dass direkt am Flur lag, daher bekam man das Kommen und Gehen der anderen Gäste mit. Grundsätzlich war das Zimmer in Ordnung, aber wir hätten uns für den gehobenen Preis mehr Komfort gewünscht. Das Zimmer war eher einfach, im Vergleich zu anderen B&Bs auf unserer Rundreise. Insgesamt fanden wir das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht angemessen. Wir empfanden das Guesthouse eher als durchschnittlich, was auch für das Frühstück gilt.

The guesthouse is located close to walking routes that allow you to discover the rocky landscape of the Highlands, so we can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse for nature lovers :)

Breakfast is included and you can even select what breakfast you want. The owner is so kind, we could really see how much she cared about her guests. Also there are not many rooms in the guest house which made the stay very private. 10/10 would recommend :)

• Susanne (10/5): Lorna ist ein Schatz, Service mit Wohlfühlen garantiert - Das Zimmer war sehr schön und heimelig, das Bad ausreichend groß und sehr sauber , Zimmer individuell eingerichtet, das Frühstück ist sensationell und beste Qualität, die Hoteleigentünerin Lorna ist ein Schatz und überaus gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie macht alles möglich, wir fühlten uns wie bei guten Freunden! Da alle Taxis ausgebucht waren, hat uns kurzerhand ihr Mann zum Bahnhof in Fort William gefahren. das Hotel passt so gut zu Schottland 😍 Alles super, im Bad ist nur gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass am Waschbecken heiß und kalt getrennte Hähne sind .

She made us feel right at home immediately. Really didn’t have any complaint. Maybe, if I’m trying to find something, next time the rooms get redone, opt for a shower instead of tub? But great place.
