• Monique (9/5): It was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Merci beaucoup! - This was a very nice little hotel! I truly enjoyed my stay here. The online pictures are accurate. My room was large and very clean. I was actuallly upgraded to a larger room due to a loud noise that I could hear in my assigned room. My room was on Floor 2. The bed was so soft and comfy. It was such a welcome change from the very hard to firm mattresses that are the norm in Africa. It was much needed as I was recovering from dehydration and an associated fall. The A/C worked well and kept the room nice and cold. The water pressure was great for the first few days. There were 2 showerheads including a waterfall one. There was also hot water available which was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly including the ones who didn't speak English. The young lady at the front desk ( I'm sorry I don't remember her name - she was working the evening that I checked in) helped me bring all of my heavy luggage up to my room. The housekeeping staff did a great job. I only ate breakfast one day. It was an egg omlet and it was okay. I also had juice and the makings for coffee was provided. There was a very nice bar on floor 2 but it wasn't open during my stay and the rooftop area on floor 3 was great. I didn't spend much time there because I wasn't feeling well. The only issues with the room were: the office chair was usuable but broken, no facial tissues were provided, the smart TV wasn't set up (it was in French and I didn't ask the front desk to set it up because I shouldn't have had to and didn't really care to watch tv during my stay), the electric kettle didn't work. I didn't alert reception about any of these issues because I wasn't feeling well and these were not huge issues. The last 2 days of my stay, the water pressure was very low. Water was trickling out of the showerhead. I didn't report this to the front desk as my friend who was also staying there told me she was experiencing the same thing and I assumed it was a property wide issue that they were aware of and that it was being addressed. There is an airport shuttle listed for this property but when I asked the woman at the front desk, she told me there was not. I was surprised because I actually submitted a request for a ride to airport when booking this stay. This feature needs to be deleted from this hotel listing since they don't offer it.
