- Carla (7/5): Definitely visit again it was 100% value for money! - We had a great time , it was peaceful, hot tub was great , our chalet was huge Cleaning under the sofa , chairs, beds needed to be done , and cobwebs needed to be got rid of .. not that that hindered our stay at all
- Lucy (10/5): -
- Jo (8/5): As described and really happy with everything -
- Natalia (8/5): - Was not clean well
- Suzanne (9/5): - Very clean and comfortable and quiet Only slight problem was Internet connection was not strong
- Zoe (10/5): -
- Tammie (1/5): Disappointing and disastrous - The style of the property was great - very quirky. All sent to the contact for both property and as complaint here to be met with no reply… was my boyfriends birthday and I was horrified
Bathroom
No toilet roll holder, just the remains of one
No hand wash
Toilet brush absolutely disgusting
Bedroom
Stinks of urine in the drawer unit
Top of wardrobe, picture frames and skirting not cleaned.
Only given a towel each for a three day stay
Several bulbs out in ceiling
Bed looks broken also under bed is so grotty
Living room
Rug absolutely disgusting
Couldnt see Tv as so small
Biggest insult
No hot tub and yet left a guide book on how to operate and all photos on listing had them on
Location
Not in the woods but in a housing estate
Constant noises of people working and cars going by even on a weekend
Fuse box duct taped shut
No welcome pack at all
WiFi a joke - 5G was better
- Jonathan (8/5): Good value for money, would definitely book again. - A great location for visiting the nearby seaside towns, property was clean and tidy and quiet. Lodge finished to a great finish inside. Very comfortable.
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic, relaxing and very good break - The quality of accommodation, the size of it and the high standard of spec There was no chopping board in kitchen and no occasional tables for tea or coffee cups while sat on sofa.
Also, even though it didn’t apply to us, only 2 of us,I might question seating availability in lounge area, when rented out to maximum occupancy.
I must add none of this affected our break, it’s purely constructive suggestions/ observations for the owners to be aware of.
- Steve (8/5): brilliant - bed comfy place spotless but not much to do so ideal for short quiet break not a lot to do
- Owen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely lodge, great staff
- Mike (7/5): Good - Nice and quite Phone signal is poor no wifi
- Claire (8/5): Lovely lodge great onsite staff - The lodge was beautiful spacious a gorgeous hot tub with lovely furnishings in a secluded wooded area in honiton the only downside is there is no real village pub etc in walking distance but this didn’t bother us
Greg the onsite manager was super helpful when we had an issue with our booking Hoseasons manage the letting and their customer service team are UTTERLY APPALLING they take over an hour to answer, they cut you off so you have to wait an hour again then they try and fob you off
We had an issue on the morning of our booking and Hoseasons were truly horrendous had it not been for Greg the onsite manager our visit would have been ruined
- Mabinty (8/5): It was a very enjoyable and restful stay in an idyllic location - The lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hot tub was a very nice addition! There were quite a few cobwebs and paint chips in places
