• Smith (10/5): As this was our second stay we again thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will, without doubt, be back. - Wayan and her family are amazing hosts. Their Warung has fabulous meals and the facilities themselves are wonderful. They could put a notice in the room advising the guests that TV channels are not available and that the TV can only be used for Netflix, HBO etc.

• YUKARI (8/5): 最後の水のトラブルさえなければ最高のホテル - 価格に対して、お部屋のクオリティが高い。 シンプルで清潔、オシャレな空間。スタッフが全員とても良い。ロケーションも、メインストリートから近くて最高。 2泊したが、2泊目の夕方から、洗面所のお水が泥か錆が混じって出てきて、流しても流しても濁ったままの水が出てきて、しまいには水がまともに出なくなり、歯磨きや顔を洗うのをペットボトルの水を使うことに…全てがパーフェクトなだけに 最後の最後が残念だった。
• Jenny (10/5): Perfect stay in a great location - Great location which was quiet and off the main road, it was a short walk to the beach and shops. Breakfast was also included and could have in the room or at their restaurant. They also organised a transfer for us, making everything really easy. It was the perfect stay!
• travel.konto (10/5): Perfect choice for Sanur in a local setting - The guesthouse is on the edge of a quiet local area with many little restaurants catering to tourists. It is also close to a bigger road with supermarkets, hotels, massage places, upscale restaurants and a mall. Then a bit further there is access to beautiful Karang Beach where you can stroll on a promenade or chill in sun or shade. The rooms in the guesthouse are on the smaller side but clean, quiet and thoughtfully set up. Plenty of electrical outlets where you need them, a fridge and a wardrobe. The breakfast was very good and most importantly the hostess Wayan really got out of her way to get us some supplements that couldn't be found anywhere in Sanur. She ordered them for us on the internet with express shipping for a very reasonable price. Wayan also helps with organizing trips and arranging transport to the next hotels. Should we ever be back to Sanur Kutus Bali Guesthouse will be our first choice of accommodation.

Convenient location of the hotel: within walking distance there are cafes, shops, banks, currency exchange offices. The beach is not far away. Good choice for one or two nights. В душевой комнате пахло плесенью и сыростью, полотенца пахли сыростью и выглядели не очень чистыми. Воду в номере не обновляли. Скудные завтраки. Очень шумный холодильник в номере. Маленький водонагреватель. Горячей воды не всегда хватало. Нет фена для сушки волос. The shower room smelled of mold and dampness, the towels smelled musty and looked not very clean. The water in the room was not replenished. Sparse breakfasts. Very noisy refrigerator in the room. Small water heater. Hot water was not always enough. No hair dryer.

• Anne (10/5): Just perfect - The room is like a 5 star hotel. The property is immaculate including the plunge pool. There is an intimate warung attached to the homestay which is very popular with locals. Breakfast was great. But the standout for me was the beautiful local Sanur family who own and work in the homestay. Thank you Wyan, Ilur and Komang for making my stay so memorable. As a solo older traveller I thoroughly recommend Kutus Bali Guesthouse. I don’t normally do long reviews but just had to this time. I will miss this place! Nothing

• Leonard (8/5): Wenn die lauten "Favela-Hunde" nicht wären, dann wäre diese Unterkunft durchaus auch für länger gut. - +Gutes stabiles WiFi +Einfacher und freundlicher Check-In +Tadellose Sauberkeit +Sehr schöne Dusche -Die "Konzerte" der vielen Hunde in der Nachbarschaft, mehrmals über die ganze Nacht verteilt. -Die "Balkons" der oberen Etage sind gar keine, sondern es ist nur ein schmaler Gang über den man die Zimmer erreichen kann. Tipp an das Hotel: Plazieren Sie Gäste ab einer Woche Aufentalt vorrangig in den Zimmern 201 und 204 (jeweils am Ende des Ganges), damit die Tagestouristen ihnen nicht immer über die Füße laufen müssen. -Alle Sitzmöbel sind zwar schön und aus massivem Holz, aber sehr unbequem zum längeren Sitzen. Hier würden wenigstens Sitzkissen Abhilfe schaffen. - Die Handtücher wurden falsch (vermutlich kalt) gewaschen und rochen modrig.

• TineMe (9/5): Ruhige Unterkunft in Sanur - Ich hatte eine paar schöne Tage bzw Nächte im Kutus Guesthouse. Die Abholung vom Flughafen wurde durch die Unterkunft für einen fairen Preis organisiert. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber, das Bett bequem und die Klima hat gut gekühlt. Es hab Wasser aus Flaschen auf dem Zimmer. Die Lage war gut, wenn auch zu Fuß etwas weiter von der Hauptstraße und Strand. Das Frühstück war lecker, allerdings waren die Portionen etwas zu klein für mich. Ich hab es dann einfach durch ein paar Extras ergänzt :) Ich kann das Kutus Guesthouse auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Ein Willkommens Getränk o.ä., wie so oft auf Bali angeboten, wäre nett gewesen, aber mindert die Erfahrung nicht.

• Jenna (10/5): Cheerful cozy villa in Sanur! - Lovely little pool which is necessary in the Bali heat, extra clean rooms, perfectly working fan and AC with such sweet staff working all the time especially the owner who waited for us to check in around 10 pm and came to say goodbye at check out and make sure we had a good stay. They always refilled our water bottles and breakfast was fast and delicious! Everything you could need to have an amazing time in Sanur and only 10 mins walk to the beach, 5 mins to the main strip! The beds were new and comfortable but firm, I prefer soft but that's just a personal preference and nothing bad to say about it!

The room was big, clean and comfortable. The included breakfasts were amazing and the friendly dogs were an added bonus. Nothing everything was perfect

• Tessa (8/5): Prima voor een kort verblijf - De kamers en badkamer zijn zeer netjes. Douche werkt goed, wat ook geen vanzelfsprekendheid is in Bali. Je betaalt weinig voor wat je krijgt. Ideaal voor kort verblijf. Het zwembad is klein maar is afkoelend dus zeker ok. Ligging in rustig straatje. Het was hier 's nachts opvallend stil, wat aangenaam is. -

• Breana (10/5): It was a lovely stay and I highly recommend. - Asna house was a wonderful stay during our trip. Everything from the family who runs it, the location, and the comfort/beauty of the room, was perfect. The air conditioning worked great and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our room was on the second floor with beautiful views of 'jungle' from one balcony, and views of the Asna House complex on the other balcony. Times when we were in the room, we enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the bed. The location is very close to the hustle and bustle without being directly in it. The alley/path that you use to get to Asna house is not accessible by car, but it is by scooter (you can hear them during them day as they honk at the blind corner just behind Asna house, but this stops in the evening). If coming by car, it will drop you at the main road (we always used Oops Gelato as our drop off point), and then its a few minutes by foot to Asna House. The main owner and his family are lovely, they checked on us daily and always asked if we needed anything. I would not hesitate to come back if I find myself in Ubud again! Nothing. My only complaint (not related to Asna house specifically), is the trash burning that happens in the morning or evening. Im not sure where it comes from, but its nearby and you can smell it in the room when its happening. If you have bad allergies, this may be a problem, but its to be expected as I believe it is happening everywhere.

We loved our stay here and Wayan and her husband were just lovely. We will stay here again the next time we are in Sanur for sure!

• Negoita (10/5): Very nice location - A place with charm in Sanur which offers a calm, family-friendly atmosphere with quiet, perfect for relaxing. Near to beaches, near to boutique shopping, beach clubs and swimming pools. A lot of places can be seen around and owners can arrange transportation. The property swimming pool is relaxing. breakfast fresh and good, room much, much better than a hotel one, very clean. Bathroom quite large, very clean. Laundry can be solved with owners. Modern and friendly architecture. If ever return, will choose this particular location.
• Maria (10/5): Wonderful stay! - This was a fantastic stay! The owner is the sweetest, kindest woman and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I stayed on the top floor, and found it very quiet at night. It was convenient to have the warang (restaurant) just downstairs (and with great prices). The pool was perfect for soaking and cooling off, the room was incredibly clean, had Netflix etc, a huge fridge and kettle. And it was easy walking distance to restaurants, Icon Mall, etc. Definitely recommend! I think the only thing is that the breakfast could be improved. Pancakes were dry, fruit came only after asking, and the coffee was terrible. But the other options were good!

• Karen (9/5): We had a fantastic time at Kutus Bali. It was our first time and it will definitely not be our last. - We had the most wonderful stay at Kutus Bali Homestay. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was great. We also ate Dinner at the Warung and the meals were amazing. We were located just behind the ArtaSedana and a 5 minute walk to Danau Tamblingan. The location was very quiet and relaxing. We made good use of the Pool. The family who own the Homestay are fabulous and extremely accommodating and always had a smile for you. What we didn't like was that we didn't stay long enough. Honestly, for us, there was nothing that we could fault.

Lots of restaurants near and we ate at their restaurant every day for breakfast and most nights for lunch. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom as well. We like this place so much that we are staying again for 2 weeks while we finish our time in Sanur! The toilet bubbles randomly sometimes but if that’s the worst thing, I’ll take it.
• Chantal (7/5): Clean and basic place to stay with friendly staff. - The staff were friendly and the whole place including my room was very clean. I basically just needed somewhere to sleep as I was in Bali to do some courses so it suited my needs well. Nice restaurant only about 10m away around the corner. Only downsides were the neighbourhood dogs barking every night that woke me until I found foam earplugs in my luggage. They were doing construction next door that started early and went until about 8 or 9pm every day but hopefully that will be finished soon. Also the hot water system was very small so I had pretty short hot showers. A bit of a bugger when I was washing my hair. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

• Birgit (10/5): - Kutus Guesthouse hat definitiv Hotelcharakter und ist total sauber und komfortabel. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und das Bad ist modern und neu mit einer großen Dusche. Das Personal und die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist perfekt, da man weit genug weg von der stark befahrenen Straße ist, aber dennoch zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad alles gut erreichen kann. Es gibt auch ein Kutus Warung, in dem man frühstückt und auch so essen kann. Hier habe ich bisher das beste Nasi Goreng gegessen.

Posizione in centro a Sanur, stanze e bagno grandi a sufficienza, letto comodo e pulizia favolosa, sia della camera che degli spazi comuni. Anche il piccolo ristorante della struttura propone piatti semplici ma ben cucinati. Tutto perfetto!

• Lisa (10/5): Great family-owned Guesthouse - Family owned and in a cute back alley with many other homestays and guesthouses. Beach and many shops/cafes are within walking distance. The room was clean and very spacious. There is an attached laundry service next door, which I did not use, but others may find handy.
• Seulgi (6/5): - Clean as it is quite new. The staff are kind. The tap water smelled strongly of sulfur to the point that it caused me a headache. When I asked about it, the host said that all tap water in Bali is the same, but this was the only guesthouse among the three I stayed at where I noticed something wrong with the water. The toilet also backed up several times a day. The hosts never tried to explain the issue in person, except for one staff member who apologized and promised to fix the problem when I checked out. I hope they keep their promise.
• maureen (10/5): Great place - would definitely stay again. - I had a wonderful time a this guesthouse. The family running it is very nice, friendly and goes up and beyond to fulfill your needs. The room is well equipped - I did not miss anything. Room cleaning (every day) was high standard. The towels are great - (not the usual Bali type with all the stains). Breakfast which was included in the price was good, too. You have various options from a breakfast menu. Dinner at Kutus Bali Restaurant is yummy as well. As you can see from the map the location is not beachfront - but I had known this when I booked. It is only a short walk to all the action an the beach. You have a lot of bars, restaurants, massage places, supermarkets nearby. The photos on booking.com are authentic. The guesthouse is almost new. All in all I can only recommend this little place and would definitely stay again. This has got nothing to do with the guesthouse as such. People in the room next door had watched TV all night a high volume- until 3.00 o clock. I am pretty tolerant but at some point of time I had to go and knock their door - to get some sleep. I do understand - jetlag and such but please be aware that rooms in Bali are rarely soundproof - be nice to your fellow travellers and keep the volume down. Thank you very much .

• Hyunmi (10/5): 가성비 굿! 위치 굿! - 청결하고 가성비 굿! 수압도 좋고 주인 아주머니도 친절해요. 조식으로 나오는 나시고랭과 미고랭도 맛있었어요. 위치도 근처 맛집이 많아서 좋았어요. 침대 시트에 보풀이 조금 있는데 크게 불편하지는 않았어요.
