• Andrew (8/5): Quaint - Perfect location inside the city walls. Host provided, bread, fruit, milk and water. Nothing feels out of place. Completely authentic feel to what is an old property. Couple of light switches didn't work.

• Joan (10/5): We would love to return. - Host had a healthy basket filled with fruits, crackers and other snacks to meet our breakfast and snack needs during our stay. Her Portuguese dictionary and literature on Obidos was most helpful. Appreciated her thoughtful inclusion of meeting all our needs during our stay at her comfortable, charming home in great location.
• Robert (6/5): Potentiall good place but a few issues have to be addressed. - Location was good. The photos were accurate. The bed was very comfortable . Easy access with the Keybox . The counter top oven was not good. The shower was a very tight fit and I am not a particularly big man. Insects plus loads of ants - and there was no ant killer in the apartment. Never met Paula. My bath towel was so worn it had a hole in it.I must admit to being a little shocked about such poor quality . I think we were just disappointed with it compared to the other properties we stayed in.
• Stephanie (10/5): Great value in Obidos! Pet friendly! Excellent location! - Great value in Óbidos! Pet friendly, Very cute and well equipped stone house inside the walls of Óbidos and nearby the entrance of the village. Excellent location to explore the village and go back to the house as needed through out the day. Of note for future travelers: We decided to park outside of the walls to facilitate driving near by and unfortunately our car was broken in during the afternoon! I'd suggest parking either inside the walls or outside but near the entrance. We parked on the hill, around the corner near the hillside vegetation and were targeted. Nothing was exposed in the car and there was nothing to be stolen. According to the police, it happens often. Paula the host is extremely friendly and accessible. Thank you, Paula, for the basket of goods as well! I'd stay there again, if back in Obidos.
• Kristina (10/5): Cosy and wonderful! - 3 min to the mainstreet, castle, bookshop in the church. Fruit and bread and tomato-compot as a welcoming-gift. Two bathrooms. Beautiful interiors. Extremely comfortable bed. Very nice hostess who we kept contact with through whatsapp. Can´t think of anything!

• Aw5678 (10/5): Miracle in space maximization - To start with, the property is right in front of the door into the old town; outside the city door you will actually find a place to park your car along the road (the one with a cliff on the right). Trust me: you will find a place to park. The house itself is a miracle of space maximization: even though small and with a mezzanine, you will never feel crammed. In fact, the house is equipped with everything you could think of. It even has two toilets! There are big and small windows everywhere. When we arrived there were some welcoming treats. The internet actually worked very well. You get a view to the inner side of the city walll. I wish this house was mine. NA.
