• Katarzyna (10/5): - Great hospitality and atmosphere. Gentelman at the reception was smiling and helpful all the time. He helped us organize a paramotor flight, which took place a few hours later. We had organized transport to the train without any problems. We received a comprehensive and helpful answer to each question. The room is very big, clean and cozy. The view from the room was stunning! In the center, very close to all restaurants, night market. I will definitely be back!

• Guest (9/5): Worth it! - The view is beautiful. Our two families were assigned two rooms with mountain views, and they were quite close to each other, on the highest floor here. The room size is very good. Overall, the furniture in budget hotels in Laos is quite wooden, which makes the room cozy, but the downside is that it can make the room feel darker. As for the things I didn’t like, the amenities in the room are basic and just enough for use. The wooden door is misaligned, so some areas can't be locked, and others require extra force to close, which can cause noise. There is no TV, slippers, and the refrigerator is old. There’s no elevator too, but the stairs are spacious and bright./
• SCOTT (10/5): A classic Vang Vieng style hotel with wonderful people. - A little gem of a hotel, overlooking the mountains and the river. I could sit on the veranda and stare at the view for days. The cafe has the BEST coffee in town and the owners are such lovely kind people. Hemath at reception is so great. He booked all my tours and transportation and ensured everything went smoothly and I paid the best price. The room is old classic wood paneling, solid dark curtains and a wonderful bed for the best sleep. I’ll be back again for sure. The WiFi was upgraded while I was there so much better than before.

• Akira (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is centrally located so it's convenient for many different activities. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful when looking for places to hang out and relax, cafes and restaurants. Tours, train tickets and bus tickets can be booked here.

• Kim (10/5): perfect - The staff were excellent welcoming us with a welcome cup of drink and telling us about the town as well as some tips for visiting Vang vieng. we booked train and hot air balloon tickets at a better price than booking online. Our room on the top floor was spacious enough. Standing on the balcony you can see the mountains and the sunset in the afternoon and the hot air balloons flying in the sky. The hotel is clean and the location is right in the center of Vang Vieng, very convenient

The reception staff, particularly Hamen, were very helpful. You can stay street side, which can be a little noisy at night with young revellers until 2am - it didn't bother me - or for a slightly higher charge, stay on the riverside with wonderful mountain views.

• Kaur (8/5): Good location and comfortable stay - Good location in the middle of everything. Very nice comfortable beds, and basic breakfast. Staff are very friendly. The double rooms garden view in the ground floor are new and modern, really liked staying in that room. Some rooms are old and dated. Overall nice comfortable stay, would recommend it but just bare in mind it's noisy at night. It's very noisy as it's in the main strip near bars. Alot of back packers hostels near by which adds to the noise. I changed room 3 times but the noise was loud from everywhere.
• Ilse (2/5): Very poor - Good location, people at the reception were helpful (helped us with bus to Pakse) and the breakfast was nice. Money was stolen from my wallet. I should’ve maybe put it away, but it’s no excuse. I told them, but didn’t expect anything to come from it. They told me later they maybe can’t trust their staff, which for me is a reason to not come back. Lots of ants in the bathroom and mosquitos in the room, but might be normal for the area. Pillows weren’t great and airconditioning was really loud and kept us up parts of the night.

The breakfast was okay quite basic but fine for what we needed. The room wasn’t very clean. We didn’t complain for the price we paid we thought it was okay but the toilet seat was broke and the shower is right above the toilet so didn’t feel very clean.

• Helen (9/5): Very friendly, great views and location in heart of town - The view from our third floor room was stunning, but even if you don’t select a room with mountain / river view the open air dining area at ground level is light, airy, very spacious and has amazing views too! Our triple room was a reasonable size, traditional in style and bed comfortable. The staff were always smiling and keen to help. In general a lovely feel to this place. I recommend! The double doors to the balcony didn’t fit quite right so was concerned about mosquitoes, although with a coil burning outside and air con on we had no difficulty.
• Nguyen (7/5): It’s good value for staying there - The owner is Vietnamese and very helpful in pre-offer the Lao Kip for my friend. The receptionist is also helpful to book a tuktuk for us to go the train station. The view from room is not nice and the breakfast is quite simple and not Laos style.

I cannot say enough about how helpful they were. I got very sick in the middle of the night and they brought me water and offered to help with transport to the hospital if needed. They also facilitated all my continuing travel and rescheduled it when I was sick (thank you!). I highly recommend! I Nothing

• Sarah (10/5): Great location with friendly staff in the heart of Vang Vieng - The gentleman working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking with him on several occasions during our stay. Breakfast included a choice of eggs with a buffet of bananas, toast, fried rice, and pancakes. Fresh water is provided at all times of day. The room was big and the balcony had beautiful views of sunset over the karsts. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance and many tour operators to choose from. There is a nice area with tables and chairs where you could sit throughout the day. This is a great option if you're looking for a place with a balcony and breakfast in the heart of Vang Vieng. Note: the last bar on the tubing trip is just outside this hotel but they stop the music by no later than 8pm so it wasn't an issue at all. The wifi was a bit slow and inconsistent but that's typical for Laos.

Although for £10 a night with breakfast included you couldn’t really complain. Wifi also wasn’t the best!
