Surprise (10/5): Good value for money - The staff were very friendly, and the area is in a quiet neighbourhood. The accommodation is conveniently located close to the beach, the mall, and uShaka Marine World, which helped keep my Uber costs low. I also really enjoyed the privacy, as I had my own space and did not have to share the accommodation. Since it’s a guesthouse, I initially expected shared facilities, but that was not the case, which was a pleasant surprise. The area also had reliable WiFi and a TV with streaming services, which made the stay even more comfortable. The white towel left lint/residue on my skin after use, which was uncomfortable. Also, due to Durban’s tropical climate, small lizards may enter the room if windows or doors are left open.

It looks exactly like in the pictures, safe neighbourhood and all. There’s a mall within 5km and some restaurants within a walking distance. I wish it had a pool.
