Agua caliente sin problema. El colchón de la cama individual un poco incómodo, se notaban los muelles. El aspecto en general mejorable.

• Taw2000 (8/5): Vue parfaite, mais ça ne fait pas tout... - La vue incroyable sur la mer, les 2 terrasses, qui sont un vrai plus pour profiter de la vue. Le lave-linge. L'appartement est mal isolé, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir, l'ascenseur qui s'ouvre, les gens qui parlent même plusieurs étages en-dessous. Le bruit de la rue et des personnes dans le complexe est assez important. A prendre en considération si vous êtes sensible au bruit. La paroi de douche fuit copieusement. Attention de ne rien laisser au sol et prévoir d'éponger derrière. Pas de tapis sortie de douche et 2 linges à main. Pas de rangement dans la salle de bains. Pas de serviettes a la cuisine pour essuyer la vaisselle. Concernant le parking, il n'y a pas autant de places disponibles que de logements.

He was more interested in playing on his phone than talking to us and answering our questions. In general it was a good stay.

Nothing about the host or the place itself. My toiletry bag got stolen outside while unloading, which is on humanity, not the accommodation. Just a reminder to future guests to keep their items close during check-in chaos.

• Sarah (7/5): We feel that this property was overpriced considering its run down condition - The location and views from the terraces were absolutely incredible The property itself was very run down and in need of a revamp, there were black hairs in the bathroom when we arrived and ants in the kitchen and on one of the terraces ,which only got worse throughout our stay. The water tank which was located in the wardrobe dripped throughout the night and wet some of our shoes before we realised and moved them . Only one of the plug sockets in the kitchen( which was located behind the microwave) was working , this made using the kettle a bit awkward . There was only half a toilet roll supplied for a 9 day stay .

• Rafael (8/5): Si quieres un sitio con muchas piscinas y toboganes para niños es ideal. - El apartamento pequeñito pero limpio, con todo lo que se puede necesitar y sobre todo dos camas muy cómodas. Las piscinas y los toboganes muy bien, los niños disfrutaron mucho. Al lado de la playa aunque es verdad que hay que caminar bastante y por cuestas para llegar. El complejo es grande y te pierdes por el, podría haber más señales explicativas. Al lado de la playa pero se tarda en llegar y hay unas cuantas cuestas. El agua de la piscina podría estar más limpia.
• Suvadiye (4/5): Ze mogen wel gaan renoveren daar en nooit meer benal beach voor ons. - Alles was vreselijk verouderd en niet goed werkend. De airco was onvoldoende. De koelkast koelde niet goed. Allemaal bij elkaar geraapte spullen in huis, weinig keukengerei en vies en oud. Stekkerdoos wat uit de muur komt. Terras zag er niet uit met allemaal verschillende stoelen en kussens bij elkaar geraapt. Extreem verouderd en niet goed werkende spullen. Kookplaat kan je niet eens fatsoenlijk 2 pannetje erop zetten. Boven alles, het was vies.

• Lorraine (4/5): Disappointing to say the least! - The view from the room is about the best thing here. Hot water and shower pressure good. My dislikes could make much more reading but space didn't permit! Benal Beach as a whole complex is in need of some TLC, just look up from the outside and you will see lots of flaking paint and dislodged masonary. The following is how we found the apartment ourselves: 1. No instructions were given that on arrival at reception, (after queuing for some time) I would then have to ring the owner to get clearance that I could pick up the key. The owner didn't answer my call so I text, to which he responded and said the keys were now ready at reception. Back in the queue waiting again only to find that no keys had been left at reception. I then had to do a video call with the owner and walk up flights of stairs to a random room number, use a key code to get out the key for our own room. After making our way to the room, there was already a key in the door! 2. There is absolutely no WIFI in the apartment, access was constantly denied. Contacted the owner who said it was a technical issue and that someone would come, but probably not today!! Not much good to us considering we were only staying the night! I had to chase the owner for a response regarding WIFI as he didn't get back to me. 3. Although toiletries are not advertised, there aren't any, except empty bottles from previous use. 4. What is advertised is a toaster, there isn't one. 5. The TV wouldn't switch on at all. The reason? Only one battery in the remote control. Not our place to go and buy batteries, these things should be checked before our arrival as they are advertised for use. 6. Advertised for 4 persons. No way suitable for this amount. There is only one breakfast bar stool for seating inside, not enough plates. glasses etc to provide for 4 persons. 7. The wardrobe only had 3 hangers and was crammed full of a travel cot, high chair, bedding, pillows etc. No room to hang anything, along with the fact there are no chest of drawers either and no bedside cabinets. 8. Checkout is 1000hrs not 1030hrs as advertised on Booking.Com 9.

The lift wouldn't take us to reception, apparently a common fault so we had to exit the door in the rubbish room into the pool area. Was faced with a rather grumpy attendant demanding to know how we got in when pool was closed. We're not 5!

• Eureste (9/5): Superb - The beds and shower were great! The apartment is small but was perfect for our trip. There is parking on the street and tons of restaurants nearby. It's a quick walk to the beach, and there's a lovely park across the road. The pool hours are short at the moment, but it's very nice. They are very strict about who enters the pool area, which was unfortunate for us, because we chose the location to be near friends who live in Benalmádena, and hoped to spend pool time with them.

• Zoe (5/5): Very expensive for a not-so-comfortable stay - I have stayed before at Benal Beach another apartment, it was much more modern and much better equipped inside the apartment facilities. The penthouse however does have amazing views. The Penthouse is very dated and did was not the best equipment. There weren't enough pillows for the number of occupants and the winter bedding seemed unwashed. It is also quite annoying having to call Spanish numbers to meet for the keys upon arrival.
• Satu (9/5): Great end of my trip in this beautiful apartment. - The apartment was really nice with two huge terraces with the view to the ocean and the mountains. Very clean and nice. Check-in was very flexible, the owner was responsive and they gave me the late check-out due to severe weather conditions on the day of departure.

Excellent restaurants by the beach less than 5 minute walk. Only stayed at this apartment for one night as we extended our holiday. This appartment was a pleasant improvement on the penthouse appartment we had stayed 9 nights in. As we were already at benal beach the owner facilitated us with an early check in at 11 a.m. which was much appreciated Lock on door a little difficult to open with the key but very helpful security guy got us in and showed us trick to open door. This is a very minor complaint and if it could be fixed it would be very good for future guests. There was absolutely nothing else not to like.
• Richard (5/5): Excellent location. Shocking customer service - Excellent Location Communication with the host was very poor. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Advertised facilities were not available on arrival e.g. hairdryer and took a number of attempts to get a hair dryer. Barbeque advertised I didn't notice one there. Very surly cleaners arrived as we were leaving. We spent the final night of our holiday in a different apartment as this apartment could not facilitate an extra night. Tha other apartment and host were excellent and cheaper.
• Michelle (1/5): It was our worst accommodation experience in all the years we have been travelling to Spain. - the view The whole apartment was very dirty and unclean. The sun beds were broken and must have been taken out of a "skip" as they were filthy. The sun chairs were also broken and dirty. The chair and sunbed cushions were all badly soiled and covered with bird poo. The electric kettle kept tripping the switch, there was no hairdryer even though it was advertised, the boiler did not heat the water, the water pressure kept dropping so could not finish showering, the leg was broken on the bed and the side table in the bedroom. The sitting room sofa was badly soiled. Our whole experience was so disappointing and a disaster as we went by the reviews on Bookings.com and it was definitely not worth the money we paid. the apartment was on the eleventh floor. This was the second apartment we were given by the same owner as the first one was definitely 10 times worse.

The bed sheets kept coming off the bed as poorly fitted. Apart from a tired room (we didn’t dislike) the place was fantastic!!

For what we paid were expecting towels and toilet rolls, ended up having to buy toilet rolls ourselves. The Internet doesn't work and communication with host is non existent as soon as they get the deposit of you which the have no intention of returning. Hosts are very poor, not very friendly and not keen to help with issues.

Room had thin walls - unfortunately you need to look further, if peace and quiet is what you are looking for. Hair and dust in the bathroom and a dirty pan in the kitchen cupboard.

Everything is shabby and all the kitchen utensils are cheap and nasty. The windows are ill fitted and you can hear the wind through them. The height of the walls on the terraces is far too low - quite scary in fact. Most of the outdoor furniture was broken. The owner asked for a safety deposit of £50 which was odd as they handed it back without even checking anything.
