Guest Reviews
- Steven (8/5): - Clean and tidy - everything you needed was there All was good - it’s a cottage so some rooms are a bit quirky - part of the charm
- clare (9/5): -
- Jason (10/5): - The perfect hideaway cottage for a quiet getaway in Malvern. Small, but perfectly formed
- Claire (9/5): - Perfect location for our overnight stay
Very comfortable
- Deborah (8/5): Girls trip to Malvern - This is definitely a cosy cottage such a great space, large bedrooms and great size living space, the place was spotless and have everything you'd expect away from home. And the views from living room of Malvern hills is stunning Toilet room sink was rather small but functional just watch out for ceiling hight.
- Diana (9/5): Very pleasant , well equipped, clean flat in good location - Great location with lovely views , near a good pub, the nags head which serves good food.
A central location for all parts of Malvern but a quiet road . Bedrooms which are downstairs are smallish , especially the 2 nd one, also shower and toilet area adapted from under stair areas so quite cramped , upstairs more spacious and comfortable, well equipped and nicely designed.
- Cameron (10/5): -
- Natasha (9/5): Great property in a great location. - Lovely property, great location On the smaller size. We were 2 people staying which was perfect but if had been 4+ may have felt too much.
- Michael (10/5): - Lovely little town house, tastefully decorated, great location, all good. It was all good only slight comment is could do with a larger cafetiere
- Dylan (8/5): Excellent stay for a weekend at Malvern - Cosy hillside sums the cottage up perfectly, great use of small spaces and ideal base for walking the Malverns.
Great to be able to park outside for free.
- Emma (9/5): This property is in a perfect location for walking the hills, you really couldn’t get much better. Short walk into town - Perfect location! I think the layout has been cleverly done, wc not great if you’re taller than 5ft6 though.
It is a great property but if I was being picky it could have been cleaner as lots of residual dog hair seemed present, we were accommodated with an earlier check in so accept that could have been a factor in that.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Brilliant short stay in a lovely cosy cottage! - Lovely cosy cottage, beautifully decorated with great facilities. Just across the road to excellent footpaths! Superb views. Bonus of super weather for our two day stay. Would definitely stay here again! Nothing!
- Chris (9/5): -
- Jacob (10/5): Relaxing and cosy. - Lovely stay, very fresh and clean facilities, lovely outdoor seating space. Always very quiet and relaxing to get away, would come back. Had everything you could think of needing.

- Parveen (9/5): Overall we are glad we managed to find Cosy Hill Cottage and had a lovely comfortable space to stay. - Morning, It was a lovely place. Great location, convenient, and perfect for a night away in Malvern. The place itself was cosy - true to its name. The sofas, blankets, layout, and facilities all made the stay comfortable. The place was also warm. The shower was particularly good.
I had asked if we could check out later - this was agreed, which we appreciated as it meant we didn't need to rush, although in the end we left by 10am.
- Dubravka (9/5): Great location - Great location, trails right on the doorstep. The host kept in touch and responded promptly and kindly provided an assortment of teas, coffee, butter and jam. I'm The property has lots of character, the living room and kitchen area was superb. The lower ground was very compact, 2 bedrooms, the toilet and a separate shower room, all very close together and quite narrow. We were 5 adults so it was a bit of a squeeze and not much privacy.
- Linda (9/5): Wonderful place - Cosy and comfortable N/A
- marion (7/5): We liked Malvern and the cottage, though very small, met our needs and was comfy. - Location had beautiful views and was perfect for hill walking Size of sink in toilet. Heating was a bit random. We were cold in the evenings. There was no bread knife and a few more bowls for fruit or salad would have been useful
- Nic (9/5): Recommended - Lovely place, so I liked nearly all of it. When I needed help it was immediate - thank you. The list of eateries and their distances was useful. Great Wi-Fi. Confusion - the cottage is listed as Cosy Hillside Cottage at No.27, but Cosy Hillside Cottage is at No.25. The name on building number 27 is actually a different name and the number 27 plaque is on a wall that faces onto N Malvern Road, not onto Pump Street! Had me confused for a while.
The toilet is a bit awkward/uncomfortable to use standing up (restricted head height) - both us men managed nevertheless.
The bed ends near the foot of each bed would be fine if you are under 5' 10"-ish, otherwise you might kick them all night.
Easily fixed - the Wi-Fi code should be in the Welcome Pack (that's standard for all accommodation I have used).
- Joshua (10/5): - Great stay, host good comms, well kitted out property in good location, ample parking on road. Perfect for walking the hills. Good walkable pub options for evening food. Dog friendly . big comfy beds but bars on frames at bottom, not good for taller guests.
- Barry (10/5): -
- D Phillips (9/5): Great overnight stay in Malvern - Location of the property - on a hillside, fabulous views, and a walking trail starting just across the road. Couldn't have been more perfect. The town centre restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars are close by - 20 minutes walk at most.
The upstairs lounge and kitchen area is absolutely great - a lovely, comfortable space to unwind and relax. And spotlessly clean too.
Yasmin really responsive in the run up to my stay - I didn't book until the day before, but she always kept me informed of any requirements and answered questions quickly.
I'll definitely book again if I plan another stay in Malvern. Height of the downstairs WC wouldn't be ideal for taller people 6+ feet high. Less of a problem for me being five foot eight, I did need to be careful to avoid banging my head.
- Jatinder (10/5): Pleasantly suprised at the property, location and also how cosy it was. - Quick and easy to get the keys from the lock box.
- David (9/5): Wish we’d had more time to enjoy this quirky little cotta aged - Really cute ‘topsy turvy’ cottage, in the heart of Malvern. The ideal base for our wedding at nearby Birtsmorton Court. Not a lot to dislike tbh. Toilet may be a tad small for some folk, & the under stairs shower not to everyone’s liking. Personally, I thought the use of space throughout the property was inspired!
- Emma (10/5): Lovely quirky cottage! - The cottage was quirky and beautiful.
Great views from the little lounge window. The shower was amazing! Everything you could think of that you might need, was there.
Easy access, to the hill.
Easy access to the pubs and eating establishments.
Easy to park on street outside.
Easy key retrieval.
Polite, helpful landlord.
Thank you! 😀 The bar or raised wooden frame at the bottom of both double beds meant my 6ft 3in hubby couldn't hang his feet off of end of bed if he wanted to....and he wanted to. Niche I know, but that would impact our decision to return, because it impacts a decent night's sleep.
- Seanna (10/5): Would recommend - Very good location, clean place and easy check in. Very friendly host.
- David (9/5): Perfect for us as a stopover. - Location good.B&B n/a Nothing
- Neil (9/5): -
- Craig (8/5): - The location was excellent.
- Scott (10/5): Beautiful cottage, great location - Beautiful little cottage, great lay-out, stylish but very cosy! Loved the kitchen and lounge area upstairs! Nice terrace to enjoy breakfast on, comfy beds, great shower! The location is perfect for hiking - you walk out of the door and you're on the hill! There is free on street parking. The only thing to bear in mind when booking would be that if a guest was very tall, this might cause some issues, as the place is quite tiny with small rooms and low ceilings. Not an issue for us, as we were all smaller than 170cm ;)
- John (10/5): perfect place in Malvern - what a beautiful little place. Dog friendly. 100 yards from good walks for the dogs
- Preston (10/5): -
- Christine (9/5): Cosy and quaint stay - Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Lovely cosy vibe as described. Really thoughtful extras like tea, milk and butter etc It was a wonderful utilisation of space. Fine for us but if you're much taller than 5"6 you'd struggle to fully stand up in the small bathroom
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is gorgeous and the beds comfortable. It's in the ideal location to walk the hills. The toilet seat likes closing on you
- Laura (10/5): Lovely stay - The cottage is gorgeous and at a great location to walk the peaks.
- H (9/5): Superb - Very nice cottage, well fitted out. It was very quiet, despite being near a fairly main road. It is a little out of the town, but not that far. Helpful host, and an excellent arrangement about the door key code. Nothing we didn't like. The ceiling beams are a bit low, but that was not a problem for us.
- Kim (10/5): Great place to stay such a lovely little cottage definitely recommend 😊 - Loved the little cottage it was so cosy and sweet and slept so well the beds are super comfy!
- Sharon (8/5): Beautiful, quirky - I would have preferred bigger towels
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Quirky little cottage nestled into the side of the malvern hills with fantastic access to them.
5 minute walk from best pub around the Nags Head.
Town is 10 minutes away on foot.
Beds are really comfy
Fantastic host
Great open plan kitchen / living room with good facilities and TV
Shower has high pressure Being a quirky cottage the toilet room has quiet a low ceiling
- Anne-marie (9/5): Good location close to places to eat.nice property - Quirky layout. Clean and welcoming
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (9/5): Excellent - Great location - comfy beds - had everything we needed! Can’t think of anything!
- Olga (7/5): Good - Kitchen very well appointed. Weird to have the shower in the corridor but it is a great spacious shower. Ceilings a bit low for tall people. Just accross the road from a bridleway that leads you to the hills.
- Tony (10/5): A small well presented property in a picturesque town - Well presented
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - I am a tall person. I couldn’t stand up in the toilet and banged my head elsewhere
- Brendan (10/5): Great stay in Malvern - Lovely cosy cottage in fantastic location. Communication with owners, great as well.
Love Malvern and would happily stay here again. Nothing
- Suzanne (8/5): Really comfortable, cosy and homely. - Cosy and characterful. Very clean and fresh. Good instructions and info. We loved it but our labrador was scared of the stairs! Kitchen could have done with a bit more equipment. Mirrors in bedrooms would be good. A cafetière and some coffee and a salt and pepper mill.
- John (10/5): Very comfortable with great access to walk the dogs on the Malverns - The cottage was as the name suggests Cosy, on a damp cold December the lounge was lovely comfortably warm and cosy, the kitchen was equipped and had everything required for knocking up a meal. Beautifully view for miles from the lounge window. Perfect for walking the Malvern hills with access directly in front of the cottage. Would definitely book again Nothing
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - There was a bowl of chilli con carne and rice left in the microwave from the previous occupants.
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Susanne (10/5): Cosy, comfortable and homely. - It was fantastic, comfortable, welcoming and well decorated. Facilities fantastic along with really comfortable beds. Spiders, lots of big ones! Not a criticism as we understand it is an old property and spider time of year!
- Mitul (9/5): Superb - Good space for a family with all the conveniences.
Quiet location
Hosts had thought of pretty much everything you might need for a few days stay (soap in toilet, washing up liquid, sponge and gloves, tea/coffee and mini milks and butter in fridge)
Bed nice and firm Very minor points, but would have been great to have a tray under the drainer in the kitchen to avoid water on the worktop, rubber mat in sink to avoid breakages, and a shelf in the shower.
- Vivienne (7/5): Good -
- Amelia (10/5): Lovely stay at the door to the Malvern Hills - What a lovely little cottage. Our family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights as a base to do some walking in the Malvern Hills. The trails were just across the road from the cottage, which was fabulous. The cottage itself is very cozy, the bedrooms comfy and the kitchen very well equipped. It is a 20 minute walk into Great Malvern which has lovely independent shops and cafes.
- Rebecca (7/5): Great location - and very cosy. - Great location, nicely decorated, easy to access and good communication with host. It really is cosy - feet were hanging over end of bed and can’t stand up straight in the toilet (men!). No door on the shower room - just a glass screen and a curtain into the hallway. Great for 1 night if you’re all really good friends but a bit too tight for comfort for longer.
- Virginia (8/5): Very good -
- Nicolas (8/5): Very good - Was a cosy cottage with a unique layout Parking is street parking, pot luck on whether there's a space to park near the cottage.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Faye (9/5): Lovely home from home with great views and stylishly done - The property is fantastic and exactly as it shows on the profile, really well done and great location for Great Malvern
- Rhiannon (8/5): Comfortable stay with well equipped kitchen just toilet and vanity is Very small - Great setting and super kitchen and washing machine very comfy The toilet and vanity was extremely small
- Sadie (10/5): Fantastic!!! Kids loved upside down living for one night! - Great communication and ease to get into property.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Communication, size, cleanliness, location, value
- Gemma (10/5): This charming cottage is great. I would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Malvern. - Quirky and full of character. It was a charming place to stay The shower - great use of space but lacked a bit of privacy.
- Luella (2/5): Disappointing- owner poor at customer service and not thoughtful - Clean No door on shower- only curtain and screen, rented to 5, only one toilet.
Owner awkward about access and then gave wrong code. If we had been any later and she had not replied we would have been locked out all night
- Das (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (10/5): Perfectly located cosy cottage ideal for a Malvern Hills getaway - Perfect location Quite small for our family of 5 but the owners made excellent use of the space available.
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage, well equipped, immaculately presented.
- Peter (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - As suggested it was a very cosy warm and quite delightful with a nice view through the little back window. A perfect location for a walk on the hills with the dogs.
We took a stroll down the hill to the local pub where we received a warm welcome and a fantastic meal.
Can’t speak highly enough of the cottage and the surrounding area!!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): Hillside Treasure... - Homely, cosy space, very clean, nice blend of modern & rustic, opposite the most amazing woodland! Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): Immaculate & Beautiful Property - lovely stay :) - Immaculately clean, modern, lovely decor, you can cross the road to a car park at the bottom of the Malvern hills with a coffee van & walk up. Nothing at all!
- Adam (10/5): Great location with hiking right out the front door. - Great location in Malvern. The hike to North hill starts right outside your front door and the town is a short walk away. Brilliant! The cottage itself is cosy and warm and was perfect for a long weekend. Would highly recommend this place and we will stay again.
- Jody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (5/5): Passable - Clean. Nice upstairs. Beds very uncomfortable and too short for anyone over 5 ft 6. Cold when we arrived
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Really nice cottage in a good location
- Louise (10/5): Thoroughly happy with the property - Good location, easy parking, nice decor, clean & tidy, very cosy Nothing
- Tzoptzop (10/5): Amazing view from outside porch in the day and night. Easy way to access Malvern Hill - Very charming and welcoming cottage..I will say with a lot of specific features of local old architecture which will lead to an romantic of old times. Open plan kitchen with leaving room is upstairs at the same level with road. Is an amazing room to accommodate guests as the old architecture is accomplished by the heavy black wood beam. Everything has been refurbished and renewed. Not a big problem..the toilet downstairs is very small..but is a nice little room
