- Tyra (8/5): Would recommend to anyone, a fab stay and would come back - Bungalow was spacious and right by the pool with a private terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was slightly out the way, which we liked and wasn’t a negative but would definitely recommend renting a bike if you stay here.
- Armin (8/5): Very good - They have around 10 rooms, most of them are wooden huts. I could hang my hammock in front of the hut. The pool is nice and clean. Kitchen with water refill and stove available. You need to drive a long dusty and bumpy road to get there. In the daytime it can be a bit noisy from construction sites in the area. At night it was usually quiet 🤫

- Noah (9/5): Great value for money! - It was a quiet place and very clean. The staff was helpful and the pool was amazing. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. The road to the hotel was a bit bumpy.
- Bach (10/5): Tranquil and pleasant stay - We had such an awesome time at Pondok Kembung. From the second we pulled up, the family there made us feel so welcome. Our cottages were perfect - comfy beds, nice outdoor shower, even fresh cookies! Waking up to rice fields and cocks crowing totally beat any resort. After beach days exploring Canggu, coming back to homemade snacks and great chats on the veranda was the best. Really special place. You get real authentic Balinese vibes without giving up nice touches. Big recommend if you want relaxation and genuine Balinese hospitality. We'll be back for sure

- Cath (7/5): Would highly recommend to anyone especially couples looking to get away for some quiet, peaceful and relaxing quality ti - It was private, it had beautiful gardens, the swimming pool was lovely, very clean and tidy room with air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome like family, and even drove us anywhere we needed to go as well as picking us up and returning us home again at a very reasonable price. Everything was well maintained and beautiful I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like.

My favourite abomination in canggu and would return if ever back in the area - Away from the canggu madness but still very easy to get into town The gardens / grounds are beautifully maintained by the family who run it and they’re the sweetest Lovely traditional Balinese home stay There’s construction going on around the area but that’s very typical of everywhere in Canggu and almost impossible to avoid They only work between the hours of 8am - 6pm So the nights are beautifully quiet :)

- Marco (10/5): Amazing hidden gem - Lovely quiet hidden place, far from crowd but cose to the main spots in Canggu. Owned by a local lovely family, they make you feel like home. Rooms are very nice with all you need, even a single wi-fi router for each. Nice pool area and shared kitchen. Highly recommended! Little tips: they also accept monthly stays, owners told me.

- Josefin (8/5): Peaceful and quiet stay with friendly host - A stayed here only for a couple of nights sleeping, so it's hard to give a detailed review. However I loved the peaceful and quite area, the house felt private, the host was super nice and always replied fast. I alos loved the fact that I stayed in my own little house and the bed was very comfortable. It's not in the most hectic area of Canggu, but so close so the distance is not an issue at all if you have a scooter. I could come back here.
