• Wiaan (8/5): Very nice stay overall - We enjoyed the views, the cottage was nice and clean and comfy. Parking was good and we felt safe. The alarm sensor in the room shines a bright blue light when you move in bed at night

• Mosupye (9/5): - The place is so serene and very safe. Everything was beautiful and the facilities were as specified in the description of the place. The host is so great as well. The stores around are a bit of a distance.

We would come back! I think a few small things that could be improved and just small. Maybe have milk there for coffee and rooi bos tea. Also a plunger and a bit of filter coffee would have been a nice touch I think the TV size needs to increase. TV is a bit old and the sound is going
• Anonymous (8/5): Very good - The first thing that attracted me was the lemon tree outside which I found very beautiful. I also loved the interior decoration which made the place look good. I enjoyed the views anytime of the day. The host is super friendly and was always available to assist with any issues or queries I had. The TV is very small. It was very cold which is understandable considering that it’s near the dam and the heater either had no gas or was not working.

• Sheila (1/5): This place should be removed from Bookings.com - Nothing We arrived at 17h00 at the villa only to find that there was no electricity. We tried calling the host for over an hour. Her phone was off. It was getting dark so we left to seek other accommodation. Later the host called to say sorry and told us to go back she will load electricity. We told her that we had already booked elsewhere and would require a refund. She said she would. Yesterday she said that she is not prepared to refund as it was our fault. Not sure how this could be our fault when she did not give us electricity. We are really disappointed. I have put in dispute with my private banker and have furnished them with all the details. We would appreciate if you take this further with the host as she was extremely rude and not accommodating at all.

• Ferris (10/5): amazing!! - Absolutely incredible! My 10th anniversary celebration was made truly unforgettable by our amazing host, Lize. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, The property itself is a paradise, and I can't recommend it highly enough. It's easily one of the best places I've ever had the pleasure of staying. I'm already dreaming of my return! Thank you, Lize Thomas, for everything. You're a true gem! lol the fact that i had to leave!!!!!!!

• Thamsanqa (5/5): Not too bad - Provided everything one would need in the kitchen Parking access was impossible. We even scratched the car trying to get out of the parking.
• Paul (4/5): Beautiful place, lovely cottage, terrible electricity supply. - The cottage is stunning. I love it! It was a hot day, which is not a problem because there was an aircon in the room. Marvelous! Then in the evening load shedding started and carried on through the night until after we left the next morning. During the night, starting at about 7pm, 4 or 5 neighbors started up their generators, and 2 or 3 of them carried on running through the night! Non stop. This meant that we had a hot room, no aircon, we had to keep the widows open to keep it cool enough to sleep, and the noise of the generators were terrible! And there were a lot of mosquitos as well, because the windows had to be open. We did not sleep well that night. So, no lights, no aircon, lots of noise from right across the street from yellow generator running in an open garage. No wifi either. The next morning the generators were still running. I thought I could at least make some hot water for coffee, but the all the appliances were electric. Even the stove was electric. Kosmos has a terrible electrical problem, or load shedding schedule, and this cottage did not have any relief for that. No backup, no generator to add to the cacophony, not even a torch or gas cooker. This ruined my stay. Truly.
• Amy (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the cottage, cleanliness , and it had everything we needed for our weekend stay.The scenery, tranquility, and dam views were super amazing. The estate also has a restaurant 10mins away (Kosmos Cafe),which is a huge plus if one is lazy to cook. Lize, thank you so much for your hospitality. We are definitely coming back soon! The bed is not too comfortable.

It is also very aesthetically pleasing and had all the cutlery & cleaning stuff one would need . Host welcomed us well. It’s not really a huge dislike but I truly wished there was an iron on site 🥹🙈and maybe a bit of mopping , but maybe it was not mopped because of a reason.

I actually picked the lemons from the tree and made some lemonade Its not what I didn't like, its what I would have preferred. A daily cleaner and an iron in the facility. The host was wonderful and availed it the next day.

• Jay-dee (10/5): much needed getaway, perfect little place to wind down - Loved our stay here, Lize is an exceptional host. The cottage was extremely comfortable and stunning with a great view. Would definitely love to visit again! No complaints at all
• Banda (8/5): Apart from the few glitches, we loved the place. Beautiful, clean, cozy and amazing views! - The property is very beautiful. The location and the views are amazing. It was very secure too. It is equipped with all the necessary utensils. The linen and the bathroom supplies were perfect, with a touch of chocolate. It is truly a beautiful place and the pictures are very accurate! We had struggled to get into the property premises (security) for some hours and couldn't reach the host. There was a water problem in the area the day we arrived but we were not informed before hand, and the stored water option provided was not easy to access (garage outside and downstairs). We were running out of power at some point and response from the host was slow so we ended up buying units to be safe, before she sent us some.
• Corlien (6/5): The directions and room indications are wrong! - Lovely unit for a couple. Beautiful interior and well furnished. 2 of us had to sleep on an air matrass and couch even though we booked for 4 adults. Finding the place was a nightmare and no one answered the phone to help us. It was very stressful and caused us to be rushed and stressed before our function.

The host was fantastic, she was totally dedicated to deliver excellenct service, greatly appreciated. If you like to spend your time out of the rat race then this is a magnificent place to take a break, it was peaceful and relaxing. I most definitely would recommend to friends and family and will be back.
