• CELINE (10/5): Parfait et immersif ! - Les logements proposés par Irwan et sa famille sont absolument impeccables et très bien équipés, le confort est vraiment optimal en plein milieu des rizières. Leur warung est également excellent et nous nous sommes régalés à chaque repas et petit déjeuner ! Toutes les activités proposées sont très bien organisées et pas trop touristiques, nous avons vraiment passé un superbe séjour grâce à Irwan. Je recommande vivement ce logement, le rapport qualité prix est imbattable !

On mange très bien en Indonésie mais alors ici c’est l’endroit où on a le mieux manger Seul point que nous avons un peu moins apprécié c’est l’excursion qui était un peu trop rapide à mon goût on a dû marcher très vite dans les rizières

Ich habe - Auf meiner Langzeit reise durch indonesien habe ich mich entschlossen in Tetebatu einen halt zu machen und ich könnte nicht dankbarer und glücklicherer darüber sein, ihn hier gemacht zu haben. Ich habe zweimal verlängert und habe mich so wohl gefühlt in der umgebung, in der Unterkunft, bei der Familie. Ich werde es vermissen. Es war mein schönster Aufenthalt bislang.

Chambre propre et emplacement magique au milieu des rizieres. Je vous conseille fortement de faire le tour guidée avec eux ils vous apprennent pleins de choses et sont soucieux des détails.

• Jane (10/5): Top Preis-Leistung - Vielen Dank für die Gasfreundschaft und die tolle Unterkunft! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich, zuvorkommend! Wir konnten dort einen Roller mieten. Außerdem ist eine Wäscherei dabei, was für uns geschickt war. Außerdem kann man interessante Touren buchen und das Frühstück beim Blick auf wunderschöne Reisfelder genießen. Es ist auch ein Restaurant dabei, wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Es war sehr lecker! Das WLAN hat manchmal nicht funktioniert.

Die Inhaber sind sehr bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir haben einen Roller und eine Reisfeldtour bei Ihnen gebucht. Für die Reisfeldtour hatten wir unseren eigenen Guide. Die Tour ist sehr zu empfehlen! Das Homestay hat auch ein eigenes Restaurant mit günstigen Preisen und guten Gerichten. Das Frühstück konnte unter verschiedenen Optionen gewählt werden. Wir können das Homestay auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

• Pauline (10/5): Un petit coin de paradis au milieu des rizières - Tout ! La vue sur les rizières, l'accueil des propriétaires, le petit déjeuner, la chambre, la literie !! On a vraiment eu l'impression d'être comme à la maison, les hôtes Irwan et Suci sont d'une gentillesse incroyable ! Toujours disponibles souriants et très chaleureux ! Le lit est très confortable ! Rapport qualité-prix imbattable ! Le cadre est absolument idyllique, nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour ! Terima kasih !!

Wir haben eine Wanderung mit Guide durch die Reisfelder gemacht, was wir auch empfehlen, weil die Wege nicht eingezeichnet sind in google maps oder maps.me. Alle Leute waren ausnahmslos unglaublich nett. Das Restaurant war höher gelegen und über eine Treppe erreichbar. Da uns das mit sehr krabbelfreudigem Baby zu gefährlich war, haben wir gefragt, ob wir unten an der Rezeption Essen dürfen. Da konnte unsere Tochter mit den anderen Kindern spielen und hatte so viel Spaß. Zum Abschied gab es sogar ein paar Tränchen. Die Moschee ist leider etwas laut. Dies ist aber normal auf Lombok. Man muss sich auch bewusst machen, dass man in der Natur ist. Die Unterkunft kann nichts für Geckos, Ameisen, dem Krähen von Hähnen oder Quaken von Fröschen! Genießt die Idylle!
• Lynn (10/5): - Unforgettable Stay at Sarang Walet Homestay – Truly the Best! We spent two nights at Sarang Walet Homestay in Tetebatu, and it was simply the best stay of our two-month trip! The location is absolutely spectacular, right next to the rice fields with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They organized a fantastic tour through the rice fields and waterfalls, where we even got to swim. Our guide was outstanding - funny, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories about the region and local culture. We had all our meals at their restaurant, and every single dish (including the desserts!) was perfect!!! Delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You can truly feel the love they put into everything they do. If you’re visiting Tetebatu, don’t think twice! Stay at Sarang Walet Homestay. Amazing people, amazing food, and an unforgettable experience surrounded by nature.

• FrankTravel75 (10/5): Wonderful Homestay in Tetebatui - Great homestay in the heart of rice fields in Tetebatu. It's very quiet and peaceful, you can enjoy waterfalls and the countryside just by foot (local tours can be arranged). The restaurant is also amazing (view over the rice fields) and owned by Homestay's owners. I recommend this homestay for any person that wants to have the real Lombok experience. Just be aware of the mosque in the morning (around 5 and 6am), which is part of the island and local culture.

• Raphael (10/5): Exceptional - This accommodation is just stunning. The whole homestay is located within the family-owned rice fields. It provides the perfect atmosphere to clear your head and get some rest. Moreover, the homestay features a restaurant with great food and reasonable prices. The host family is super nice and they help you out with activities and transport. For instance, we organised a walking tour through the rice fields including the local waterfalls and the monkey forest. This was totally worth it as our guide (Chung, I hope I spelled your name correctly, haha) knew so much about the local flora and fauna. The owner also organised us a transport to Kuta for a reasonable price and with a super friendly driver.

• Marek (9/5): Superb - The hosts are some of the kindest people we met in Lombok. Their homestay was excellent, set in a perfect environment. There's also an on-site restaurant where the owners cook amazing food. They can arrange a trip through the rice fields of Tetebatu for you, which also includes stops by waterfalls and the Black Monkey Forest along the way. The price for our stay was incredibly low. We can only recommend it! Everything would have been perfect, if it weren’t for several geckos (including one really large one) on the wall. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind that — since it’s a completely normal thing in Indonesia — your rating would likely be 10 out of 10. However, my wife and I aren’t particularly fond of reptiles, and although we know that geckos are harmless to humans, we felt a bit stressed. That’s the only reason we didn’t give the highest possible rating.

A lovely and most friendly host family. The food in the restaurant is delicious. If in Tetebatu again, that‘s my place to stay for sure.

I booked here instead - and I really found a peaceful space to spend time alone, somewhere to come back to that felt safe and welcoming. The family, Erwin and Suzi are so wonderful and will take care of you.. Suzi's cooking is amazing I can recommend this quiet nook confidently.. it's also located right by the waterfall

• Catherine (10/5): Most beautiful spot - Really one of the most beautiful spots we stayed at. The room was spacious and new, and the bed super comfortable. It was also super clean. The breakfast was the best we've had. The staff is lovely, and they have a little restaurant so you can have food there for lunch and dinner as well. The shower temperature was impossible to regulate, but that's an easy fix for them!
• Célia (9/5): Amazing experience - We spent amazing time at the beautiful Sarang Walet homestay. It was perfectly clean, the food was delicious, the owners are nice and attentive. Everything was perfect, but maybe, if we had to find one weakness, it can be the hot water that was difficult to temper. This way we had to take extra hot or cold showers. But at least there is hot water, which is pleasant !

Breakfast is included, with options to choose from, and it comes with fresh fruit. During our stay, we had lunch and dinner there, trying the traditional foods—it was an interesting menu and combination of the recipe, but the flavors were excellent. Overall, considering the price we paid which was really cheap, it was an exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations.

• Marcel (10/5): Brilliant - Sarat Walang is probably the best homestay in Tetebatu. The host Irwan and his wife have great hospitality and you feel very, very welcome. The surrounding is georgeous, as all Tetebatu’s highlights are located directly here. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner each night at Sarang Walet as it starts and ends the day beautifully. No doubt that who ever visites this place in Tetebatu will not regret their stay. -

• Fiona (9/5): Ideal stay to switch off with warm hosts and beautiful countryside - The location- tranquil, surrounding by beautiful, lush countryside. Only a few minutes walk from Sarang Walet waterfall with natural swimming pool also available. The hosts were warm, friendly and generous; the food was freshly made, local and delicious; the room spacious and clean. Happy to organise walking tour of the surrounding area and transport to next stop. The WiFi isn’t great, but you shouldn’t need it when you come here to switch off. The shower is either very hot or cold but I enjoyed a refreshing cold shower (and am sensitive to heat so it maybe wasn’t so bad!). Remember ear plugs if you don’t want to be wakened at 4.30am for morning prayers 😊
• Emilia (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were really nice and helpful, they organised a driver and a tour guide for us and taught us some Indonesian phrases. The food was amazing, they have a large selection of dishes - even for vegetarians. The room and location are beautiful and calming. The sarang walet waterfall, rice fields and monkey forest are just around the corner, perfect for a nice walk, though I recommend getting a guide to tell you about the local community and agriculture. If I ever get to come back to Lombok, I'll choose this homestay again. Thank you so much, we had a great time!
• Willem (10/5): Great stay with nice Indonesian family - We really enjoyed our stay with Irwan and Sus. They were so kind and we felt really at home there. The place is new and very clean. The bed was comfortable and big. The location is also super good: it's right next to the Sarang Walet waterfall which is beautiful. Good place to go in the morning since there is no one there and you have this amazing place to yourself. Jungle is also close. The food at their warung is also really really good! Many times they brought us extra desserts. Especially Sus' pancakes which roasted coconut were so so good!! Terima kasih Sus and Irwan! If you are a light sleeper take ear plugs because there a lot of mosques in the area. But this is true for all homestays here so no negative thing for Sarang Walet in particular.

The staff were all so lovely and accommodating and the room was clean and spacious. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the homestay and were also given a complimentary dessert, all of which were delicious. The surrounding area is also so beautiful and peaceful with a waterfall only a short walk up the road. Would give this a higher rating if I could! Nothing

The food was the best local food we've ever had in Lombok! 😍 The owners are such a nice family, we felt like home immediately!! We did the walking tour through the rice fields and the Mt. Rinjani Tour with Roby. He is such a nice and funny guy, it felt like hiking with a close friend! When we will come back to Tetebatu, there is no other place for us to stay! 🤩 And this is for Roby: Schade Marmelade! Okeee! 😘 It was a great stay, nothing to complain about!

They really cared about every detail of our stay and we felt right at home. Also, the room was tidy and clean, big enough and we had air conditioner and hot water. The location itself is a paradise, we were surrounded by nature (palms and rice fields) and there is a waterfall 5 minutes walking. • Yvo (10/5): Fantastic warm and amazing stay! - One of the most hart warming welcome we had during our 3 weeks holiday in Indonesia! Family owned homestay and are REALLY kind and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The homestay is fairly new and the room was squeeky clean and a nice big bed. Sanitary was clean and had a nice ‘bamboo’ shower (nice touch). Robbie was a great help with sorting out transport or anything else you ask him and speaks perfect English. He can also take you for a guided trip along rice paddies and waterfalls or the nearby handicraft villages. Not a a problem for us, but if we had to name something then it would be to pay attention to when booking this accomodation. When it’s close to the rain season as the location is in the middle of rice terraces and therefore lots of naturevibes and is quiet, but also brings more flying insects when leaving lights on etc.

The few rooms are spacious, bright,very clean, with every comfort and have a private terrace. The cuisine is excellent. Fresh fish caught in the pond located in front of the rooms just before the meal. And above all the welcome is incredibly and authentically warm. Robin, a very friendly, kind and generous guy, drove me everywhere I asked him. His englis is perfect. I have had a wonderful stay in his home with his brother. I warmly recommend this homestay without any reserve. Nothing, everything was perfect.

The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant has the most delicious food we have eaten in Indonesia. • Elly (10/5): Wonderful homestay in the middle of Tetebatu ricefields with a local family as host. - I loved this place and I am certainly coming back here. In the middle of the ricefields of Tetebatu and only 5 minutes walk from the Sarang Walet Waterfall. The room is new and super clean. The area is so quiet, all you hear is nature sounds, perfect for a good night sleep.
