• Gaylene (10/5): Beautiful, clean home away from home - The home was very comfortable, clean and peaceful. Just what we needed to get a bit of rest . Everything to make you feel at home. Definitely a home away from home. Loved it. Hosts communication throughout was really great too.

• Lornalyn (8/5): Perfect for families and great value for money. - It was spacious, in a quiet location and the facilities were superb. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low.
• Drew (9/5): Great place for a weekend away - The house was very tidy and easy found off a main rd. It had plenty of space for the two families staying there and the kitchen was a good size to deal with the many bodies to feed. It was comfy to relax in and the large garage space gave the kids an extra place to play. Access to a fresh water stream at the bottom of the property was a bonus for the kids who loved exploring it and watching the trout. Super easy to get to and from town and a 10 min ride to the forest. Only downside is the water pressure isn't great so when we all got back muddy for mountain biking at Whakarewarewa Forest the showers took a little longer but thats not really an issue.
• JES Cheong (10/5): - Gorgeous and very spacious and clean accommodation. Wonderful host who is very prompt with reply and most helpful. There's a tranquil stream from a hidden path near the accommodation with many trouts swimming in it. Would love to stay here again..

Sogar noch besser als das Haus hat uns aber Nancy gefallen, die uns bei der Lösung eines Problems vorbildlich geholfen hat. Besonders ihre angenehme Persönlichkeit werden wir in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten! -

The garden was lovely and well maintained outside. Kids had a little play in the lawn and the trampoline. The communication with Nancy was great, she was very responsive to any queries. The house was only about 5-10 mins away from city centre. We all enjoyed our stay here and will definately stay here next time if available.

• Melissa (9/5): We had a great weekend and it was a great place to stay. - Lovely house with plenty of space for a group of two families. Very clean, good lighting and nice gardens. The location is a short drive from the Tarawara 50k/100k start area. The kitchen and dining area could be better set for a group. There wasn't enough seating for eight people at the table and we kept running short on utensils. For cooking: would have liked a big pot for pasta, more pots in general.

The stream was a highlight with some trout swimming in it. It would have been good to have some containers for food storage and some oven trays. Heating lights in the bathrooms would be a plus too.
