- Betturyiema (10/5): Enjoyed our stay. Will book again when down next - Tidy, clean, central location close to everything we needed, good comms with the hosts No allocated park - but not a biggie
- Bailey (10/5): -
- Leila (10/5): -
- Ailsa (8/5): Central location for exploring Christchurch - Great location for being able to walk around Christchurch. Small supermarket close by.
Lovely decor and comfortable bedroom and lounge. Great shower. Situated on a busy crossroads which isn’t mentioned in the description and the bedroom is at the front. If you are a light sleeper or have problems sleeping we wouldn’t recommend it.
Very limited crockery / cutlery meant washing up after each use rather than using the dishwasher. Just an irritation when you have limited time and want to get out exploring!
- Martina (8/5): - There is no parking
- Dan (9/5): - The location is superb. A very well presented property. Parking is on the street, but a safe and clean neighbourhood.
- Manjit (10/5): Wonderful way to start our holiday in New Zealand and it felt like coming home as we spent our last two nights before re - Close to Hagley Park Nothing
- Callum (10/5): -
- Lynette (4/5): Cheap enough, but - The location was very noisy from the constant traffic flow.
The bedroom was very hot
The inside stairs were quite steep. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.
We were advised we had free parking, but it was a block away. Not satisfactory when dragging our bags back and forth.
- Jamie (10/5): - Everything, was perfect! Parking so far away
- Monica (10/5): - Good location lovely clean apartment No car parking and traffic noise at night!
- Leanne (8/5): - Loved the location, close to the park for walking, restaurants, bars & shopping near by.
Easy to reach the owner for enquiries. No private parking, had to park on a side street & near impossible to find close parking if there was an event at Hagley park
- Danielle (7/5): - Good location. There were a few spots on the wall in the bathroom next to the mirror and the sink wasn't fully cleaned. We also found hair on the table and floor that didn't belong to either of the guests.
- Rishi (2/5): Wonderful place to sleep, rest and recuperate. - It was Opposite Hagley Park and had everything you needed on arriving after travelling by Plane for 30 hours.
Very comfortable close to local shops so we could buy essential food. Easy walk to riverside food market and central Christchurch.
Everything you could need in the kitchen to cook.
Very quiet despite being on a main Road.
Lovely to have tea and coffee available as well as soap, shore gel and shampoo. Nothing - it’s lovely and just what we needed.

- Mclaren (10/5): - Nice and private, with all you need to have a carefree place to stay
- Tracy (9/5): -
- Paige (7/5): Nice location - Good location. Very close to Hagley Park for a walk. The apartment is spacious and clean. Check-in was easy. We stayed on a Saturday night and the road noise kept me awake (I am not used to noise at night). There were no face cloths and the tea towel was dirty.
- Alison (8/5): We enjoyed our stay - Location was great There was no parking at the apartment
- Kaye (7/5): - I like that the place is really spacious and the view from the room is enough for me not to be bored just by staying inside it. If you like a room with a view and not just another wall or fence of another house or building, then it's perfect for you. I like how the place is decorated and really felt like home away from home. Bathroom is very spacious too. Had a really spacious and good kitchen and dining area. A very fancy house to stay in if you want to feel like you're living in a house instead of common hotel rooms. Owners are very responsive and helpful about all my queries. I became uncomfortable in the living area as there's an unpleasant smell that stayed probably from previous guests. It made me a bit uncomfortable to stay in the living room and use the couch. Overall, it was a great experience.
- Ellie (7/5): - Nice location, right on the side of Hagley Park. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and bedroom. Well equipped kitchen Parking is on road and round the block from the property. Not sure if there had been pets in the property before my stay but there seemed to be lots of pet hair on the sofa and rug
- Jayden (10/5): -
- Simon (8/5): Comfortable, well positioned property, would be happy to stay again. - The location was very convenient with easy walking distance to the city centre across Hagley Park. Also well served by public transport. The apartment was comfortable with good facilities. Communication from the hosts was clear and timely. The property is on a busy road, travellers who are not used to traffic noise might find that an issue, but it generally quietened down before it got too late in the night.

- Summer (10/5): - We loved the location and all the amenities the property had. Having a washed/dryer was super helpful. Being so close to Hayley park was nice and there was plenty of places we could walk to. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Everything, was perfect, close to shopping centre.
- Adele (8/5): - Great location as it was close to everything. Had everything we needed. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable. Some nights the traffic was a bit noisy at night.
- Hanne (7/5): -
- Greg (7/5): Suited our needs especially with having dogs - Good location functional heat pump needed to be on 30 no park
- Angela (10/5): - Location, size, allowing dogs N/a
- Michilline (10/5): It is highly recommended since pet is allowed to stay and we feel safe during our stay. - Privacy provided and it feels like home during our stay. The place was also safe and very accessible to the town proper. We noticed that the pillows are not that comfy it hurts our neck. We suggested to provide shampoo, extra towels for face, hands & body and more plastic for the trash and to provide clean scrub for the dish wash.
- Zoran (10/5): Exceptional - Nice spacious house at the perfect location.
Highly recommend for couple or whole family.
The host was very helpful in explaining everything we needed to know.
- Aisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Randy (10/5): Literally infront of Hagley Oval, so close to the city. Value for money. Home away from home - None
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Great location. Was visiting the university, and was both a quick trip to campus, but also walking distance to town. Lovely being across the road from Hagley Park, and great food choices nearby. Hosts were very responsive to communication. Property was lovely! Good soundproofing, which mitigated being right on a busy intersection. I wasn't kept awake at all, but prospective guests should be aware in case they are super noise sensitive.
- Brenda (9/5): Superb - Beautiful townhouse Very very noisy road. At one point had someone banging on front door.
We live in the Country so had trouble sleeping with the traffic noises
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - amazing location and was very comfortable
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful townhouse in a great location and easy communication with hosts.
- Clair (5/5): we got no sleep. - it was neat and tidy and easy to access. there was no breakfast? the parking was impossible on saturday evening becase there was an event on in Hagley park.
THE NOISE! we couldn't sleep due to the constant traffic, hoons and sirens.
- Rianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (7/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - It was welcoming and comfortable. I loved having a small outdoor area and appreciated having great air conditioning on those hot Chch summer days. The apartment was exceptionally clean throughout and I would recommend this to anybody looking for somewhere central to stay It’s close to a very busy intersection so traffic is constant and with the hospital only a stone throw away you hear sirens all hours of the day and night. The biggest inconvenience for me is there isn’t any parking available onsite and the closest parking is down the road and around the corner or further away if you don’t find parking there, which makes it hard to unpack for your stay and then load up again when leaving. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment if you need to have your vehicle close or secure off street at night
- Ralph (10/5): Excellent Dan was available polite and willing - Proximity to the Hagley Park
Lay out
Good bathroom and kitchen
Masses of storage in the bedroom Lacked a scale and a proper corkscrew/bottle-opener
- Kath (1/5): We won't be rebooking this property. - We had to cancel at short notice due to a medical event and the hosts agreed to offer a partial refund. However, they then rescinded this a couple of days later by sending us a photo of a messy bed and insisting that we had stayed in the apartment and there would therefore be no refund. Turned what could have been a positive review into a decidedly unpleasant experience.
- Brent (10/5): Great place to stay, close to everything that we needed - Great location opposite Hagley Park, close to town and Riccarton Mall Better details of the carpark entrance. Being right on the corner we had to drive around the block and come in from Riccarton Road and not Deans Ave which was the address
- Heather (8/5): We had an enjoyable stay and would stay here again. - The location was great it was comfortable and modern. There was a lovely area to sit and enjoy the sun out the back.
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Mason (10/5): Exceptional - Loved how spacey the house is, ecspecially with our big family
- Lorna (3/5): Poor -
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
