• Judith (10/5): This was our favourite place in Sri Lanka, we loved it. - This is a beautiful property in a lovely, quiet location, the perfect place to go back to after a busy day. The pool is gorgeous and we felt incredibly relaxed there. The highlight would have to be the hosts, Suneth and Bhagya, they are the loveliest people, so friendly, welcoming and kind. The breakfast they provide is absolutely delicious and there is plenty of it.
• family (10/5): Unieke plek nabij Galle - - Super vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw- en heer. - Prettig en snel contact. - Super schoon zwembad. - Het is echt fantastisch en uniek dat het overgebleven ontbijt in de koelkast gezet wordt. Dat is echt geweldig, zo kan je ook op andere moment van de dag nog van het heerlijke eten genieten. Daarnaast is er ook overleg over wat je lekker vindt bij het ontbijt en stemmen ze het graag af op je wensen, of op die van de kinderen. Echt super! Ontbijt is rond 8:30, met jonge kinderen is dat wat laat, maar ze halen voor het ontbijt verse spullen wat niet eerder kan, dus dat losten we op door de kinderen zelf eerst wat yoghurt oid te geven; maar goed om even te weten. - Heerlijke bedden met de beste klamboes die wij in een maand in Sri Lanka hebben gehad! - Perfect schone kamers met goede airco. *De accommodatie biedt veel privacy doordat de 2 slaapkamers hun eigen “voordeur” hebben. Dat was alleen in ons specifieke geval wat onhandig, want we reizen met 2 jonge kinderen die we liever niet apart laten slapen. Dus we zijn even opgesplitst. Geen probleem, maar wellicht vinden volgende gasten dat prettig om van te voren even te weten. Enkele suggesties voor nog meer comfort: - een airco in de keuken. - mogelijkheid om schaduw te creëren in/bij het zwembad. - het water schijnt hier behandeld te worden zodat het uit de kraan te drinken zou zijn. Maar dat vonden wij lastig te beoordelen voor onszelf, dus in dat geval zou een grote ton filtered water in de keuken nog prettig zijn.
• Kat (10/5): - The property staff are very kind and thoughtful and look after the property and guests so incredibly well. Impeccably clean. The breakfast was delicious specially the dal. Definitely request it! The pool is lovely and the beds and pillows were very comfy. There is not too much around in the way of restaurants. Although we liked Drift which was nearby. In future, they may like to consider putting air con in the kitchen/lounge area too.
• Bryony (10/5): Lovely and peaceful - Our hosts were lovely and friendly, the area was full of interesting wildlife, the pool was clean and warm and the breakfast was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the aircon worked well. We went with our 10-month old son and would absolutely book again! It’s worth noting perhaps if you have children that the two bedrooms open into the external covered porch as there is no internal corridor. As another review has mentioned, the keys are indeed a bit cumbersome, especially as you have to lock the bedrooms from the outside with different keys to shut the doors when leaving. Be extra careful with the sliding locks inside the doors as one of these somehow shut itself when we closed the door and it took some creative work with a charging cable to pull it back up again so we could get to our stuff!

• Simon (9/5): A great place to stay - Review for Villa Summer Heritage We had a very enjoyable stay at Villa Summer Heritage. The location is excellent, only around a 15 minute walk to the main road and the beach, which makes it convenient while still being in a quieter setting. The rooms are a very good size and well equipped with both air conditioning and a fan, which made them comfortable throughout the stay. The bedrooms are spacious, and the villa itself has a large kitchen and living area that works very well for relaxing or spending time together. One of the highlights was the swimming pool. It is a great size and beautifully warm, especially in the evening when it almost feels like a warm bath. It was a real pleasure to use after a day out. The villa also felt very secure, which is always reassuring when travelling. A special mention should go to E-B, who manages the villa with his wife. They were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was very good, with plenty to eat, including fried eggs, toast and lots of fresh fruit. The only small suggestion would be to offer ground coffee rather than instant. There are actually two villas on the property, so the outdoor areas are shared with guests staying in the second villa. This was not an issue for us, but it is useful to know in advance. There are just a few small improvements that could make the stay even better. The sunbed cushions are quite thin and not particularly comfortable, and the pool towels could be a little larger. In one of the bedrooms the wardrobe did not have a rail for hanging clothes on hangers, which would have been useful. Overall though, this is a lovely place to stay with spacious rooms, a fantastic pool and very friendly hosts. We would certainly recommend it.
• Ekaterina (10/5): Это идеальное место для отдыха. Одно из лучших за все мои путешествия, не только по Шри-Ланке. Мне и моей семье действи - Просторная, комфортная вилла, с высоченными потолками, разделенная перегородкой на 2 части. В каждой части - 2 спальни с шикарными кроватями, отличными матрасами и идеальным постельным бельем. Спальни с вентилятором, кондиционером и санузлом. Между спальнями - кухня-гостиная и веранда с большим столом с видом на бассейн. С нашей стороны было 3 лежака под навесом, гамак. Бассейн с подсветкой. Мы купались даже ночью. Территория довольно большая, очень ухоженная и уютная. Вилла расположена в небольшом отдалении от центральной улицы, по сути - в красивых тропических джунглях. На ветках сидели попугаи, сразу за забором мы видели павлина, предыдущие жильцы видели обезьян. Ближайший пляж (с черепахами) расположен в 10 мин ходьбы или 5 мин на авто/тук-туке/байке. До центрального пляжа - 10 мин на транспорте. Приложение pick-me (вроде нашего Яндекс-такси) позволял быстро доехать до любого места в Унаватуне на любом из этих видов транспорта за очень вменяемые деньги, просто нужно заранее купить местную e-sim в аэропорту. Щедрый и вкусный шри ланкийский завтрак был включен в стоимость номера. Фруктов было так много, что даже оставались на обед! Исключительно доброжелательные управляющие виллой - муж с женой! Они отлично разговаривали на английском, отвечали на все наши вопросы, выполняли все мелкие просьбы и создали для нас атмосферу действительно домашнего уюта и гостеприимства. С ними было так душевно общаться, что в конце отдыха даже не хотелось уезжать! Хочется отдельно их поблагодарить за доброе отношение и заботу!! Плохо сохнут мокрые вещи, но это особенности климата. Совет - ставьте напольную сушилку на кухню и включайте на полную мощность вентилятор.

• Kim (10/5): Fabulous stay! - It is one of two adjacent villas sharing the most fabulous pool. It is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The garden is beautiful!. The hosts are fabulous and can't do enough for you. The location is great in a very quiet part of Unawatuna. My husband has mobility issues and this villa was totally ideal for him and me too! We absolutely loved our stay. It's a 10 out of 10 for us 😁
• Ferenc (10/5): Tökéletes, ne keress tovább, ennél nincs jobb! - Túránk utolsó állomása volt a Summer Heritage Villa, és jobbat nem is találhattunk volna az utolsó hétre! A legjobb szállásunk volt Sri Lankán. A villa nemrégen lett átépítve, a legjobb anyagokat használták, barátságos, a világítás is tökéletes, mindig volt melegvíz, az ágynemű prémium, szúnyogriasztó bedugva a szobába, ajtók előtt füstölők, a konyha, ahol minden nap készítették a reggelit, teljesen felszerelt mindennel, akár itt lakhatnánk. (jövőre ide költözünk :-))) Az nap, amikor indultunk a reptérre, akkor érkeztek az új napernyők, és székek a kertbe. A kert és a medence makulátlan tiszta. Fontos, aki hosszabb út után érkezik, van mosógép, és működik is, úgyhogy bátran mossatok! A reggeli, mint e képen látjátok, bőséges, és úgy kell lebeszélni a tulajt, hogy ne rohanjon le a sarki boltba, ha kiejtesz valamit a szádon... A part kényelmes negyedóra séta. A pávák hajnalban táncoltak a tetőn, bár olyan volt, mintha valaki oda csapkodta volna őket a tetőhöz. Először bosszantott, mert nagyon zajosak voltak, de aztán megbékéltem, úgyis ők vannak otthon... Ha bármit kihagytam volna kérdezzétek Bagiya és Suneth whatsappon. Fantasztikus emberek, remélem találkozunk jövőre! Minden tökéletes volt!
• Patrick (10/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable stay - Large rooms with good A/C, high quality furniture, king size beds with a thick comfortable mattress, and a large bathroom. Large, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful, well maintained garden. Large pool. Very kind and helpful hosts that will make your stay comfortable.
• Jasmin-felice (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for 4 nights here. It was such a lovely stay. The Apartment was very clean & comfy. The breakfast was absolutely enough and tasty. Garden and Pool were very nice. Suneth and Bhagya were absolutely Kind and helpful. P.S. The Dog („Snowy") was also really Cute (he lives on the streets and not in the Apartment) You can Walk to the beach in 10 minutes.
