Guest Reviews
- Greg (10/5): - fantastic stay with great value. The staff was genuinely supportive and friendly, Our room was comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities for a relaxing trip. We highly recommend.
- David (10/5): - Newly renovated, new furniture lots of lighting in room. friendly staff. Lots of parking and lights in parking lot. Lots of dining options near by.
- leslie (10/5): - Pet friendly
- wendy (10/5): - Customer service was excellent, room was clean mostly new. Small things need to be finished as they are renovating
- Christopher (10/5): - Staff were very kind and helpful
- Lorna (10/5): - Owner is friendly, property is being renovated and the changes are fresh and updated. Clean rooms, and new mattresses and bedding. Quiet area with plenty of dinning options and stores.
- Greg (10/5): - Newly renovated room. Staff is super friendly and very supportive. Nice ambient room. The bathroom and room are absolutely clean.
Will definitely come again.
- Melissa (7/5): Comfortable - They are renovating the place so everything was new and cleaner than most other locations. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had a small issue (tv stopped working). The room had finished renovations the day before, and things weren't 100% finished, but they were so minor. Will be great when the whole place is done
- Sarah (6/5): - The staff could not have been kinder and the room was fine but this property is undergoing extensive renovations. It would have been nice to know this beforehand.
- Guest (8/5): The hotel was in the right place and right price for my stay and good value for money. - I had never stayed in a proper road trip motel before and enjoyed the novel experience. The room had good facilities en suite bathroom and shower, TV, fridge, double bed and was in a good location in Cornwall for me to conduct my business. It was also nice and quiet around the area and I had two great nights sleep there. Initially had some trouble finding the hotel, maybe some improved lighting/signage could help with this.
- james (4/5): - Linens and towels were clean. Everything else under construction
- Guest (1/5): It sucked - Nothing. The front of the building facing the road is abandoned. There are, maybe, 5 rooms available. There’s construction going on on the whole property. Pavement is uneven riddled with construction(or maybe destruction) materials. We did not stay. Went down the road to a Best Western. Everything. See above.
- Dan (2/5): - The majority of the property is under construction, not sure how they can stay in operation while the construction is going on. The room key wouldn't work so that I had to ask the staff to open the door every time. The room smelled of paint, no mirror in washroom, the electrical outlets are missing covers. Over all, it was unsettling feeling while staying to there. Do not recommend.
- Kimberly (8/5): - for our trip it was a 'bed' for the night, we didn't mind that it was under construction, didn't have a pool or breakfast included, as we were leaving quite early in the morning.
besides the construction things were good! check-in went smooth, staff was friendly!
- pascal (8/5): - Good
- Richard (7/5): -
- Brent (6/5): - Place is under Reno’s, clutter around room door
- Smith (10/5): - Rooms were very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to rest midway on our journey home. Staff is very friendly
- Matthew (10/5): - An Awesome Stay!
The room was spacious and incredibly clean. The receptionist was very friendly, and their service was unlike anything I've experienced anywhere else.
- Sylvie (10/5): - Propre
- Robert (8/5): - It will only get better as the are renovating some areas
- Ellen (1/5): What a hell hole - Nothing It would have been nice to know this whole place is under renovations, the lights by the bed do not work, there is 1 lamp only, the room has a strange smell, It is not worth $ not happy at all!!!! The only thing that works is the TV!
- Bobby (4/5): - Wallpaper falling off the wall, expired food left in the fridge,
1 chiclet size bar of soap nothing else, it's a wonder I didn't get a flat tire from all the screws laying all over the place.
- Lyne (10/5): - Absolutely Clean room.Nice location Renovation going good.Nice receptionist Will come again
- Evripidis (2/5): - Still under construction..outlets and lights not working..dirty rags
- Bhavik (10/5): - Room size, Comfort Cleanings inside the room are perfect. Easy checking and Checkout
- David (6/5): - I did not appreciate the barrier to register the room due to renovations. The room was through clean and slightly elevated with cost for the room.
- Angela (4/5): - The hotel was obviously under renovations. It took about five minutes for us to find somebody to check in. The front. Check-in area was covered in plastic and no one was around.
As you can see from the pictures, we entered through this through the parking lot door, but the other door that led into the hallway that’s a condition of the hallway. It was the sketchiest place I’ve ever stayed.
- Lise (10/5): Bon - Positiif personnel grntil
- Nrjw (2/5): - Thw man was rude when checking in or out. Hs ripped me off 6 dolllars. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning. The cleanliness and condition of the room was unsatisfactory at best. They were doing renovations aswell. Not worth the 100 dollars paid
- Laura (10/5): - Room condition is not bad, but cleanliness is extraordinary. Front desk service is very cooperative and extraordinary. The room was spacious, and the location is good.
- Jacques (8/5): Well located, large and clean room. Easy to find and staff very friendly. - Great location, friendly staff. Will return for sure. Nothing bad to say about this hotel
- Dawit (1/5): Bad - Can’t even describe how the room was dirty
- Mathai (8/5): Very good -
- William (8/5): - Economical place to stay in Cornwall close to the highway and close to amenities. I know I could have asked, but they should offer more pillows and the bed could have been a bit more comfortable.
- Laura (10/5): - Absolutely clean, excellent front desk. Good location. Good for family or even business. Safe too. Hospitality is is exceptional
- ISLAM (4/5): - the smell is not good. the AC is loud. there is no CC machine. you have to give up your CC info. (inculing the security code) to the front desk or pay cash.
- Tham (7/5): Good - Good location, friendly manager Microwave not in the room
- Patrick (6/5): - Wow, this place has seen better days. I saw 8/10 on Expedia, booked, then saw 6/10 everywhere else. Decided to risk it (non-refundable anyway), it got the job done. Very old looking building, chain lock only attached on one side so didn't work, staff member followed me to the room to double check that it had been cleaned, soft cooing sound from the fridge (like pigeons), towels had stains, heater worked well but loud startup, light switch didn't work as the room is lit only by lamps, sink didn't drain very quickly, room key didn't work after I went out for a bit (staff let me in) but luckily I didn't need it again, info all says no front desk but there is one (maybe heavily restricted hours?), strong fragrant soap smell when I arrived, apparently there's a trick to working the TV, fridge wasn't plugged in when I arrived. Good location, and slept well.
- Trudy (8/5): - The hair blower caught fire and set off firealarm. D9 not use it.
- Pauline (1/5): Bad -
- Richard (8/5): - Great location for a great price.
- Fatima (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belkasem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Koebel (9/5): Superb -
- Devin (5/5): Passable -
- Koebel (9/5): Superb - Very private and quiet The day we left cleaning our stuff up looked under bed lost of dust and garbage
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deilami (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hogan (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (1/5): horrible place to stay - nothing desk clerk was rude and dismissive.
- Korosh (7/5): Good -
- Caesar (7/5): Comfortable - Cleanness and quite place The receptionist should improve on PR
- Leong (5/5): Passable - The bed is worn out and dip in the centre. This gave us a sore back after the night.. the door can not be locked, and we need to use the door catcher..
- Paul (3/5): Would I return? No! - Fair sized room with a clean floor, and a comfortable bed. Shower was fine, and wi-fi ok. We asked when we booked for a quiet room, but were given a room close to the road, which was very busy.
We had a coach load of female teenage hockey players who were very noisy when they came in , and the noise continued until near midnight.
However, that was understandable. What was worse was the idiots next door who were talking loudly in their room until 01:15…they eventually went quiet after I banged on the wall.
We’ve travelled in motels for over a month now, and this was the noisiest one. Certainly wouldn’t go back.
- Murray (5/5): Passable -
- Sean (3/5): Wouldn’t stay here again - The manager was very helpful and accommodating. It was old. Windows are filthy. The clean towels are actually well used and thin. Smelly. Not an overall feeling of cleanliness.
- Caitlin (8/5): Very good - Convenient, helpful staff Door to the room had an issue locking that required me to contact staff for assistance. It should be replaced.
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- Jean (9/5): Superb - It was easy to get to and the staff was friendly. That the staff didnt make sure there was enough toliet paper or make up the beds each day
- Frederick (8/5): Very good -
- Juanita (8/5): Very good - Great for a night and last minute booking Had to wait for ages as 1 guy at the whole place and he had to ride back on his pushbike from the hardware to check us in.
- Nason (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean 👌 room , comfortable bed, easy check-in & and checkout . Bed sheet & bathroom all absolute clean 👌
- Cheryl (6/5): Pleasant - Price
- Pam (4/5): Odd - Location-it was in Cornwall It’s very dated.
- John (2/5): You get what you pay for. Heads up - Staff was friendly Everything was old and had a musty smell to the room. Beds need new mattresses and bedding was old and worn. Rooms need more plugs. Drapery needs to be replaced. The outside was littered with cigarette butts and dirty clothes. The grounds need a lot of work
- Oui (10/5): Exceptional - Shah and his wife are very helpful and available at any time.
- Margaret (5/5): Passable -
- Joe (1/5): This hotel was not up to standard and overpriced - Nothing The front desk did not have a computer or our reservation. Clerk had reservations on her phone. Room was not as clean as it could be. Old TV did not work. Overall it was a lower quality but more expensive room compared to other hotel rooms during on vacation.
- Cheryl (5/5): Passable -
- Steve (8/5): Very good - The tv provider - cogeco I think- does not have a guide station so finding something to watch meant that I had to go through each channel to find a show- a pain when you are tired.
- Wendy (3/5): Poor - Beds were comfortable. Manager tried to help with the problems. Locks didn’t work, room smelled of cigarette smoke, towels hanging in washroom, garbage on floor, some lights didn’t work.
- Venera (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (4/5): OK, but there are better options - OK for a night but I'd look elsewhere next time This place appears to have just changed hands. A lot of work is necessary to bring it up to the quality of its competitors in the area. Cleanliness and comfort were just adequate. TV and internet were iffy. Bed was just OK.
- Mcgrath (7/5): Good -
- Main (5/5): No high expectations. - Price Got what I paid for.
- Coutts (3/5): Too noisy doors slamming till late at night lots of chatter late into evening - Close to walmart Outside was run down
- Kevin (1/5): Horrible customer service - The receptionist insisted on changing me for a Queen bedroom even when I showed them my booking information and refused to check me into the room that I had booked. I felt like I was being robbed by this establishment
- Hess (7/5): Good - Comfi beds
- Steve (3/5): Poor -
- Tabatha (6/5): Perfect place to stay here on a budget as a family or for work. Would stay again! - Krunal at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. He allowed me to check in early free of charge. There is some renovations going on near the front which tells me they are working to improve the infrustructure. Can't complain about that!
- Kathleen (7/5): Good -
- Rhonda (8/5): Very good - Location was great
Gentleman that checked us in was superb. Very nice !! Overall was very clean. Tv in room didn’t work. Bed was a tad uncomfortable. Room out dated and a bit small
- Dave (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (9/5): I arrived late and left very early so it was a very quick stay - No breakfast The outside looks a little sketchy but the room was clean and comfortable. Good value for the price
- Hillary (6/5): I would not stay there again - Convenient location Very dated. Way too pricey for this motel
- Quafisi (5/5): Passable - Convenient location. Value for the money It was old and rundown. Needs to be renovated. In the bathroom ceiling fan cover hanging from the ceiling. There needs better soap in the washroom
- Gary (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was worn out.
- Norma (5/5): Passable - The room and bathroom need updating. It could use extra outlets to charge phones.
- Narie (1/5): Bad - I didn't like anything. Everything. What I read on the reviews are not believable.
- Clint (5/5): Scam for security deposit - Wanted to put $ 150 on my credit card for security deposit and it would take about a week to return it.
Meanwhile I would be paying interest on that money.
I compained went to get that cash and they called and said they wouldn't need the security deposit.
- Debbie (6/5): Pleasant - Iwas sent to 3 different rooms before I had one to staystay in.The 3rd one was ok.
- Roman (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (8/5): Very good - An older motel that has been updated. Very clean and good value. A great place for an overnight stay
- Hanna (8/5): Very good -
- Barry (7/5): OK for an overnight stay -
- Jeanne (8/5): Very good -
- Jamieson (7/5): where we stayed.was fine. Very quiet. - we were not eligible for that for the breakfast. Not offered to us.. The TV did not seem to work and they could have turned the fridge on.
- Rohit (8/5): Very good -
