• peggy (9/5): - Quiet, very functional. Excellent location (with a car). All equipment to cook @ home there. Close to shops if you forgot something. Cairngorms great few days.. not enough The shortbreads in welcome pack were so good I ate them all. Quickly. And had to find more!

• Lorna (10/5): Lovely comfortable cosy stay in peaceful surroundings - Lovely clean bungalow with a modern interior and good facilities. Excellent attention to detail with some chocolate, shortbread and dog treats on arrival. The kitchen was stocked with essentials which aren't always included like bin bags,washing tablets, cling film etc. Nothing it was great

• Nikki (7/5): - Was nice and cosy. Enjoyed the location as it's within walking distance of the centre of Aviemore Cleanliness could have been better. Would have been nice to be left dishwasher tabs, bin bags considering they expect us to strip the bed before leaving and have any dishes cleaned but don't leave you the tools to do it.

• Scott (9/5): - The area is a really nice little estate of lodges outside of Aviemore central. Nice and quiet for small families (and no cars driving fast around so safe for the kids to play outside). The lodge itself is a great size for a small family, with every facility you would want. Nice and clean and well looked after. We loved it.
• Peta (10/5): Lovely property in a beautiful location. - The property was very well equipped and of decent size. It even had a back garden. It was comfortable for our group of 3. Close to shops and other tourist attractions. It’s dog friendly (mine couldn’t come over from Australia unfortunately) N/A
• Sheena (9/5): Great place in a great location and brilliant to place to stay with a dog. - Easy to get keys and even though never met host I knew they were able to to get in touch with if needed. The little things of a welcome pack with loads of information on the cottage and the area and on things to do and see including places to eat. Back garden exactly what was needed for us with a dog as secluded and great size. In summer can imagine a BBQ there. Also at the side and back of cottage is tracks everywhere for walking the dog too. Great size rooms and beds comfy. Easy to find. Would recommend and visit again. Only one thing we all thought was maybe a blind in the bathroom or something at window. I know it’s frosted and a fence at back of it but still. Definitely not an issue.

• Emma (9/5): - Location was great for the town and accessing the A9. Beautiful place and very quiet surroundings. The lodge was perfect for us and had everything we needed for the stay. It was great the kitchen was well kitted out and had a big fridge and freezer.

Especially liked the guide providing valuable information about the property and area attractions. Communication with owners was excellent and they provided a great welcome and were very helpful.

• Dawn (9/5): Great Stay Good facilities - The property was very clean Not too far away from town centre As I had mobility issues with broken ankle and on crutches I found the steps outside property quite tricky with the crutches.The bush needs trimmed back on front path as it totally covers it.
• Frederike (10/5): - Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Haus, dass alles hat was eine vierköpfige Familie mit Hund braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und der Wohnraum gemütlich. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, um Kochen und Backen zu können. Ein liebevoller Willkommensgruß für Mensch und Tier hat den Aufenthalt direkt zu Beginn des Urlaubs versüßt. Wer es gerne ruhig hat und erholsam schläft, ist hier genau richtig. Danke dafür!

• Carol (9/5): Fantastic home with everything you need for your stay. Location excellent, very quiet day and night. - Property was in an excellent location. We normally travel to Aviemore twice a year. Short walk to town and lots of other walks around to enjoy. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. The garden was enclosed and perfect for the sun. Beds were clean and comfortable and the shower was just right too. Plenty of choices for watching tv if the weather was wet and lots of cafes, restaurants to eat in. There was only one thing that I would add is to consider providing sun chairs to sit outside. There is a picnic bench but not the comfiest when you may want to sit outside and read, listen to music etc.

• Krystal (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful home from home with everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay (possibly the most comfortable beds ever). Very friendly and helpful hosts. The property is in a lovely quiet location, but within easy walking distance to Aviemore centre.

Great to have an enclosed garden for the dog and it was a very dog friendly lodge all round with bowls and even some lovely dog treats provided. Would most definitely recommend this property to others.

• Tom (10/5): Wonderful house in a lovely town! - Absolutely lovely and cozy little house only a short walk from Aviemore town center. Everything was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. We really enjoyed the electric fireplace and board games after a day of hiking the Cairngorm. The beds were comfortable, the living room was great and the full kitchen was really helpful to have. There's a full refrigerator, a stove, and dishwasher. Most importantly - a coffee maker. The neighborhood was very quiet and we even saw deer one morning down the street. Everything was very clean and the wall switches were all labeled, accompanied with a detailed instruction book. Very helpful when you've been on the road traveling from one place to the next! We really enjoyed our stay here.

The property is lovely - everything you need, loved the decor & it had a small enclosed garden as well perfect for our little ones. Little treats on arrival we're appreciated - hosts we're available & helpful - we will definitely stay again.
• Tichkent (10/5): Awesome accommodation in a great location! - Great lodge to stay in! Lovely and modern interior, good size lounge, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, lovely garden, secure shed (perfect for bike storage), and just a 10 to 15 min walk to the centre of town. Honestly it was perfect! Very little not to like... I guess if I had to really nit pick the TV was pretty small by modern standards! That's about it!

• Pru (10/5): Perfect, cosy home for exploring Aviemore - We loved our stay at Orange Squirrel Lodge and would have definitely stayed longer had our plans allowed. The home was perfectly set up for our family and had everything ready for our arrival. It was lovely and warm and stocked with everything we needed, making it feel like a home from home. The owners were really helpful and quick to respond to messages making our stay in Aviemore super easy and enjoyable.
• Fraser (10/5): Wonderful Accommodation in Aviemore - Our family of 4 (kids aged 4 and 1) have just returned from a stay at the wonderful Orange Squirrel Lodge. Very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed including off street parking. Located in a quiet area with an easy 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre of Aviemore. Our hosts were fantastic, responding very quickly to a couple of questions we asked. Will definitely stay here again!
