Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (6/5): - The location and the area is good The house is not functional, and not too comfortable
- Felix (10/5): - Wholesome
- Emily (1/5): Terrible. Nearly impossible to access. Very stressful. - Location, machiya style The worst check-in and checkout process and customer service possible. I have stayed in hundreds of places around the world and this was the absolute worst check-in process. I didn’t even know check-in could be so stressful. I have stayed and traveled around Japan more than four times and this is the only time I’ve had a terrible experience. This property has outsourced their check-in process to some kind of AI process and it is so glitchy and buggy it took us over six hours to check in leaving us stranded in the middle of the street and not knowing how we would access the place We had reserved to sleep while we were traveling internationally and arriving late at night needing a bed to rest. Truly ridiculous the hoops that must be jumped through in order to check in at this place. Could be simplified 10 times and even be maintained more securely. Truly ridiculous and disrespectful. This is hopefully the first and last bad review I will ever have to leave.
- Damaris (9/5): Great apartment, not centrally located. - I loved how authentically Japanese it was. There was a table and mats to sit on. a full bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom. It was in a quiet neighborhood . The futons were not very comfortable for any of us. While the apartment was lovely, it was not located near anything that tourists would want to get to. We spent quite a bot on Ubers to get to things.
- Derek (10/5): The location was perfect for families with small children and the property was clean and orderly. - Its location was excellent. My kids loved playing across the street at the park, it was very convenient to get drinks and snacks from Lawson, and everything else was within half a mile for walking distance.
- CHIAOHUNG (10/5): A small issue. When I went to check-in,the system couldn't locate me. - The check-in system
- Kim (9/5): The house is good for family to stay. Very close to the famous Sensi-jo Temple, but very quiet neighbourhood. - The house is spacious. Good location. Narrow stairs.
- Johnson (10/5): We stayed four nights, enjoyed wxploring asakusa and Tokyo easy to get everywhere and lively to have our own house to co - Spacious and easy to use all the facilities, clear communication from the owners / managers about how to access, clean and great location Nothing :)
- Patricia (9/5): It is a very good option for those who want to experience a traditional Japanese house. - The house is very beautiful and is located in front of a park with lots of tree, in a very quiet neighborhood. The size of the rooms and the number of bathrooms is very good for japanese stardards. The house is about 25 minutes to half an hour on foot from the train station, which is a bit far for those carrying luggage.
I should have taken a taxi.
- Teresa (8/5): Great location, will stay there again. - The location was excellent, the space was great. Not enough pillows and the bedding was hard.
- Kelly (8/5): Perfect location - The location is wonderful and having so many bathroom options was nice for a family. The door keypad didn’t always work and check in was stressful at night.
- Robertas (9/5): - Spacious great property! Unfortunately fridge had an aweful smell, and it made it unusually
- Michelle (10/5): - Everything was so beautiful and calm. There was enough room for all of us to relax. Walking distance to a lot of amazing things to do and see. The only complaint we had was the tub/shower room had a bad smell but we ran the shower and tub water for a few minutes and it helped.
- Stephen (9/5): Great place for a small family. Would recommend! - Great location. Nice traditional homestay
- Angie (8/5): - The. house size was roomy and nice. However, procedure to check in was difficult and frustrating. Setting up the beds after a long travel day was cumbersome (though we knew this ahead of time based on other reviews). The mats do not provide enough cushion to sleep well. Location worked well for us. Check in needs to be an easier process, very frustrating.
- wen ying (9/5): Happy with our stay - Spacious 2 stories house, perfect for a family of 4 Tatami has some funny smell
- Jochen (8/5): - Gute Lage in Asakusa.
Traditionelles japanisches Haus in gutem Zustand. Online Eincheck Prozedere mit Fotos/Code etc. etwas nervig.

- Jaime (10/5): Amazing traditional house in Asakusa - Incredible traditional house very close to the big temple in Asakusa. Very well connected. Very enjoyable to stay there. Great coffee place nearby. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The passport reading app is slightly clunky but works in the end
- Pannipat (8/5): Very good -
- Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tarek (10/5): Wonderful Tradition home for family - My family of 4 spent last 3 days of our 2 week trip at this traditional home in a quiet part of Asakusa. It was a welcome area to wind down in after being around huge crowds most of our trip. The home had plenty of space , two showers, 3 total high tech toilets, full kitchen, washer, and a rooftop to dry clothes. Nice cafe next door and a family mart right around the corner. About a 13min walk to Asakusa station and about a lovely leisurely 25 min walk to Tokyo Sky Tree area. Asakusa was better that expected, lots of restaurants , shopping and the home is minutes from the Senso-ji temple. I wish we had more time at this place, it was wonderful. Super clean, and easy check in. Highly recommend for families . Nothing. All great
- Jasmine (8/5): Very good - Cleanliness
They have everything we need Abit far from the metro station
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional - Location was excellent and the house was very convenient. There is so much to do in the neighborhood and elsewhere that we didn’t spend a lot of time there, but it was a great home base
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional - Close to everything and in between a traditional and modern Japanese home. A bit larger than hotel rooms and has more bathrooms!!
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional - I love this place :)
- Gadi (10/5): we enjoyed the experience of living in a traditional house and sleeping on the floor on mattresses. - The apartment is nice and the kitchen is fully equipped. around the corner is a 7-11 convenience store. the location is far from the train station a 15 minute walk.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
