• Max (7/5): Eine geräumige, in die Jahre gekommene Wohnung mit bequemen Betten, guter Startpunkt zum Wandern. - Es ist eine große Wohnung mit viel Platz und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Schön gelegen für einen Bummel in den Ort und zentral, um von hier aus zum Wandern zu starten. Kleiner Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Gastgeber wohnen gegenüber und haben einen netten Eindruck gemacht. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es war sehr staubig in der Wohnung und auch sonst nicht gerade sauber. Die Küchenaustattung umfasst ein absolutes Minimum.

• Florine (4/5): Niemals wieder! - sehr bequeme Betten, weiches Bettzeug, kuschelige Handtücher Der Vermieter hat uns unbegründet des Diebstahls seiner Handtücher beschuldigt und mit einer Anzeige gedroht. Leider sehr sehr unfreundlich. Die Wohnung war nicht fertig, als wir zur vereinbarten Zeit ankamen. Einrichtung insgesamt lieblos zusammengewürfelt.

• Esther (2/5): Not pleasant - Walking distance from Brig Center and good location. The property was cold on arrival, only two towels for 5 people, no clean bedding (only dirty mattress cover, see pictures). When we asked the property for towels and bedding she became angry and said everything was there. Found peanuts between sofa where you need to sleep. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. Sink in bathroom was dirty.

• Nimmy Sarah (10/5): - The apartment was spacious, with enough cutleries and dishes in the kitchen. The apartment is very clean. I enjoyed it. The path to the apartment was under maintenance and no clear instruction for free parking is told. We parked two blocks away and that was uncomfortable

• Sykora (8/5): - Das Bett war sehr bequem und der TV hat zum Wohlfühlgefühl viel beigetragen. Dankeschön! Der Eingang war nicht einfach zu finden. Die Tür lies sich abschliessen, jedoch der Zwischengang nicht. Nicht schlimm, geht aber besser.
• Juan (1/5): a alguien se le olvidó limpiar el alojamiento - el alojamiento estaría ok (las camas eran cómodas, es un piso acogedor) si hubiera estado limpio/no hubiéramos tenido que dormir sobre las sábanas usadas por desconocidos, la reseña hubiera sido positiva en ese caso. llegamos sobre las 20.30 y nos encontramos las camas sin hacer (deshechas por huéspedes anteriores), la basura sin tirar y toallas sucias en el baño. la dueña dijo que estaría disponible telefónicamente hasta las 20.00, pero al menos el alojamiento tendría que haber estado limpio para entonces. confiamos en que pudo darse un error humano y se le olvidó limpiarlo/contratar al servicio de limpieza. sin embargo, intentamos contactar con ella por WhatsApp, Booking y llamadas y no recibimos respuesta ni esa noche ni pasado prácticamente un día que llegamos. esa noche no nos quedó otra que dormir sobre sábanas de a saber quién, solo uno de los 3 huéspedes pudo ducharse (porque solo había una toalla limpia). desde luego que el trato no es el que se espera teniendo en cuenta el precio del alojamiento. habríamos esperado una explicación, un motivo, pero seguimos sin información al respecto y luce que así será. el wifi tampoco funcionaba, algo bastante importante teniendo en cuenta que no todo el mundo tiene conexión en Suiza. en fin, una noche bastante desagradable que quizás con un mejor interés de la propietaria habría sido algo más amena, por decir algo…

• susanne (7/5): Den var bra förutom parkeringen. - Vi hade ingen fri-parkering för dom hade grävt upp gatan utanför där bilen skulle parkeras. Dom grävde för kommunalt avlopp och vatten. Så vi fick stå på EasyPark parkering framför Cesar Ritz skolan. Vi fick gå ca. 10 min till parkeringen.

• Claudia (1/5): Horrible! - Our stay was very bad, a huge disappointment. The accommodation does not reflect Booking's standards at all. I was very very disappointed. First of all, the host was extremely rude, she seemed bothered that I did a reservation and she was rushing to work, it was late afternoon time. She even shouted at me because I could not understand German and called me Mamma Mia. She then started to talk to me in Russian, a language I do not understand. The room is located in the house cellar!!!!! Not appropriate at all, dusty and smelly. There was also a car parked in front of the entrance which made access difficult. But the worse thing is that the room was not ready for guests. It was dirty, sheets had not been changed and there were black hair in the bed. There was also NO toilette paper, it was a problem also because I was travelling with a child. Do not book here it is a scam.

Und die Schlüsselbox war nicht auffindbar (sie befindet sich im Gebäude und die Schlüsselbox ausserhalb ist für eien andere Wohnung, sehr verwirrend) die Kontaktaufnahme zum Gastgeber war dan eher unfeundlich. Zudem hätten wir in einen Studio eine Küche erwartet.

• Kieran (1/5): Incredibly hot, stuffy, no air - basically staying in a basement adjacent to earth’s molten core. - The temperature inside was significantly hotter than outside - around 30 degrees inside. No fan or AC and the only window was a tiny square that didn’t let any breeze in.
• Saivarun (4/5): Bad experience - Was lacking basic amenities like toilet paper, salt, coffee machine that wouldn't work properly, just one coffee pod, and the list goes on. Host didn't communicate exactly where we'd find the apartment. When asked for toilet paper, it was brought an hour later. There was literally one sheet when we reached the place. Unbelievable.

• Naeem (1/5): Host is doggy, not recommended for families. - Nothing We were extremely disappointed with our recent experience. The property we originally booked was changed without any prior notice or communication. Upon arrival, we were taken to a remote location approximately 15 miles away, with only a few properties in the surrounding area. The new accommodation was still under construction and clearly not ready for guests. The host claimed that the issue was due to a double booking on Booking.com; however, all our reservations on the platform appeared accurate, suggesting the host was not transparent. Rather than cancelling or offering a suitable alternative, we were displaced to an unsuitable and incomplete property. Furthermore, the basic amenities expected from any standard accommodation were missing, there was no shampoo, no soap, no kettle, no curtains, and no adapter for UK chargers. The overall experience was unacceptable and fell far below the standards we expected.

• Roisin (1/5): Worst experience of my life - Nothing. Not only was it not clean, it was cold and damp Cold, damp, the duvet didn’t fit the bed. Host never cleaned the room. The duvet also contained “black hairs” obviously never cleaned prior to us arriving.. We had a hard time finding the location. The host never provided instructions

• Thomas (3/5): Disappointing - Parking and location Felt like an inconvenience to the host. Found garage for parking okay, however spent 30 mins trying to find the room which transpires is in a different building. Sought help from the host, who just resent the same photos, offering no further help or explanation. The photo they had sent was just a close up of a door on the street, and no words provided. Queried about lack of second towel given we were only provided with 1 shower towel. Ours was a 2 guest booking, and when queried host simply offered that the hand towel was sufficient (it isn’t for someone to shower with). Host tried to charge twice as much for local tax, which we had to query with them.
• Zoe (6/5): Clean and comfy room - facilities and check in issues - Lovely bed and amazing shower. Nice and quiet for the night. Very clean and good location once you have found it. There is a kettle but no mugs or teaspoons (paper cups provided but we didn't use them). Getting into the property was tricky as we did not realise that the first door in the string of photos on the advert was unlocked. There was also a delay in getting the code to the key box so check in wasn't the smoothest process. We also had to make the duvet for the bed but maybe that is standard in Switzerland?
• Siv (9/5): Great value for money - Affordable for Switzerland and great value for money. It was nice to have 2 rooms and a full kitchen to cook in. The mattress was very comfortable. Would 100% recommend. Even with the photos the owner sent, it was unclear how to get in. It was hard to communicate with the owners as they didn’t speak English. Here are further instructions: go up the red staircase on the side of the building and through the front door. It will look like you’ve stepped into someone’s home, but don’t worry it’s just the common area. Go all the way up to the top floor and that is the door to your apartment!

Have to wait for 15 minutes to contact host & carry all luggage to second floor as building has no lift.

Overall a very unpleasant and upsetti - Quiet location Unwelcoming and aggressive attitude of host who demanded cash on arrival. After some time, she reluctantly produced a card reader for payment and only then released the key to the property. There was poor quality bedding, lighting and furnishings and a generally unfinished feel to the property. Bathroom facilities below expected standard and wash basin badly chipped (see photo).

Due to language gaps during communicating with host and I was not aware this rental was set-up in Booking.com that the final payment will be made up on arrival; there was a misunderstanding upon check in. Host expected cash payment. I assumed since used a credit card to reserve the stay that this credit card will be automatically charged for the stay. This confusion is best avoided by Booking.com making this clearer. Host expected cash payment while I thought my credit card will be automatically charged. We were both confused.
