- Melissa (10/5): Perfect location and great value for money - The location is very good. Less than 2 min walk to Rundle Mall and a short walk to the footy oval. The apartment was on the corner on the top/14th level overlooking the city, great view morning and night. The balcony was decent sized. Including the kitchen, dining and lounge. The bed was comfortable. The gym, sauna, stream room, pool and spa were fantastic. It had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay. Would book again.
- Lisa (10/5): - Great location, walking distance to all amenities.
- Liz (6/5): - Ease of finding the Dropbox - Instructions were very accurate That there was no keys in the dropbox - I made an initial call to find out where the keys were and was told the cleaners hadn't dropped them off yet, the woman was going to call them and get back to me, we waited 20 minutes and still no call or no keys, another 10 minutes and we randomly checked the box again and they keys were there, it took another half an hour before we got a call to say they had been dropped off
- Jodie (10/5): - Perfect location, close to everything. Loved the size of the apartment and the balcony ( with view ). We had dinner out there a couple of nights. The room was very clean and the communication from our host was excellent. Value for money for sure. I would definitely stay again.
- Samara (10/5): Fell in love with South Australia 🇦🇺 🙏🩵 - Located in the CBD with amazing views, had kitchen amenities & washing machine which was helpful through out the stay, pool & gym were easy access via the lift to level 2 of the building. We were on the top floor which we requested with amazing views however the aircon was not the best seemed as if it struggled so we purchased a fan from Kmart to keep us a little cooler as the weather was 35-43 degrees out whole stay, The kitchen sink fixtures need to be replaced as the arm was pretty short and sat close to the sink so water would go everywhere, the bathroom vanity must have a blockage as water would sit and take a while to subside , cushions need to be replaced in the lounge room and bedroom they were not clean and need a revamp, other then those things the view was amazing, the staff were amazing throughout booking, arrival and departure.
- bayu (9/5): - the location easy access to any city destination. superb rather annoying when looking for the key for check in.
- Jaime (10/5): -
- Florence (9/5): Very comfortable stay. - Clean beautiful location and great ambience. Key collection very complex and return too.
- Janette (9/5): -
- Paul (3/5): Very very disappointing - I could not understand why the lockbox was in a Council Carpark when the apartment and car park we booked was a different site. In fact the opposite of the road.
Extremely confusing and we wasted almost an hour driving around trying to find the lockbox and our designated parking slot.
We won’t go back again to this place See above.
Also our apartment was poorly presented. The hairdryer worked for approximately 10 seconds and stopped. Fortunately my partner had the good sense to pack a spare hairdryer.
The ironing board only rose to around 50% of its intended height because the control mechanism was broken.
There was no toaster in the apartment
.one of the 4 pull down blinds facing Pulteney Street was broken and therefore unworkable
The clothes airer was broken and therefore not fit for purpose. There was no clothes dryer on site so we had to hang our towels on the chairs on the balcony for drying.
When we contacted the person/s we believed we’re responsible for the condition of the apartment or its administration , we were told to send an email about the issues. We chose to include photos of the malfunctioning items.
So we are still awaiting any response.
Needless to say we will not book this apartment again and we will tell our friends and family to avoid it no matter how cost appealing it might seem.
- Dianne (10/5): - The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. It has great views and well situated, walking distance to the city
- White (9/5): - good location, clean and comfortable, good view if you have one facing the square could be easier to get the keys
couch was not comfortable to relax on, other than that all good

- Sharon (8/5): - Location
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Had a lovely, comfortable stay. - Great location & facilities, value for money. The only issue was there is no toaster in the kitchen.
- Pamela (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (1/5): Not fit for paying guests. - The location and secured parking. The below standard of cleaning. The sofa had so many old stains, it needs replacing. Crumbs, dust and even fake nails (🤢) were under the seat cushions when I thought to just turn them upside down. Smear marks on most surface tops including something pasty looking on the glass side board (again 🤢). But the worst thing was the smell...that 'stay in the atmosphere ' curry smell that makes you gag. I like curry but I do not expect to sleep with it!!! It was so putrid, I could not stay there and had to fork out more money for other accommodation. I have put in two complaint emails and made follow up calls requesting a refund, but have not heard back from them. I was holding off on doing this review to allow Swainson to do the right thing, but I haven't even had a courtesy update message.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good - It was difficult to sort out all the instructions and especially find the parking entrance.
Once it was all sorted with help it was ok. I found it difficult to find the lock for the key and then the entrance into the park area from a lane that is impossible to park. Thankfully I dadn't arrive at night.
- Lesley (9/5): Superb - Location
Accommodation facilities fantastic No milk in fridge
- Kimberley (7/5): Stay was good. Potential for more if better equipped and cleaned to a higher standard. - Stunning views, great location and size+positioning of apartment was good also.
Vacuum and some clean in products provided which is helpful for a long stay. Kitchen functional for basic cooking etc. Bathroom had a smell and wasn’t satisfactory level of clean, both shower and hand basin were partially blocked and didn’t drain efficiently. Needs a more thorough clean overall.
Most things were provided for comfortable stay but could suggest an extra blanket in wardrobe or throw blanket on couch, plus some coasters and something to connect to for music (speaker) would be appreciated.
All (or multiple, including this apartment itself) front doors to units on the same level slammed and the abrupt bangs were frightening at first but slowly got used to it as well as the general noisey nature of this part of town esp on weekends. Small price to pay for prime location.
Another thing to note was that Pullman rooms facing side of this apartment complex had full visibility of bedroom and balcony (and vice versa)
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (5/5): Was fair/average for the price. - Location was the best thing. It was self contained but limited for most items except cooking pans The shower left water everywhere in the bathroom and was not consistent pressure. Gym equipment was mostly out of order as was the spa and steam room
- Bronwyn (8/5): Great location and support in booking accommodation. - Excellent location. Walk to conference and all other local attractions as well as great access to local transport.
The bed was comfortable. Kitchen well set up and laundry on site was great.
14th floor has great views and apartments are secure. The lounge is in need of replacement.
- Mathew (1/5): Disappointed - Nothing it was poorly cleaned Poorly cleaned, dirty bench, blonde hair strands around the place , no one answered phone call.
Still waiting for refund as I didn’t stay 1 night.
- Zane (8/5): Very good -
- Daly (8/5): Very good -
- Sophia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shona (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was spacious and situated near Adelaide mall and public transport .We really enjoyed our stay nd will be back nothing
- Sk (8/5): A good city stay - The staff are very responsive. When there is shortage of trash bag or washing detergent, they are willing to replenish within a short period of time. Excellent location, a close walk to Rundle Mall, and then free tram to Central Market and China Town too. I tried to clean the apartment in the mid of the stay. But when I used the vacuum cleaner, it gives out the bad smell, probably the trash bag inside has not been changed for quite some time.
Also, please try to stay for one night. At night there are some frequent cracking sound (like that of heat expansion of glass windows), which is quite scary and I worried about the building structure. Eventually I need to wear the earplugs to avoid that noise.
Even though the location of lockbox is close to the apartment, but imagaine if it is a lady having 2 baggages, after 9pm, pushing the baggages into a small lane at night, is really quite inconvenience.
- Billdox (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tim (8/5): Great spot. Roomy apartment. - Location is really good. If you are staying for a long time remember it isn’t serviced.
- Chris (4/5): Very poor service which was a shame as the apartment could have been good. - Location, size, balcony The service provided by Swainson was awful. We notified them of faults and apart from acknowledge receipt they did nothing. The shower was broken; air on worked haphazardly and some days not at all. Outdoor furniture was broken and the one bedside light didn’t work. Also upon arrival we needed to clean drawers before storing clothes. Swainson customer service was non existent. Will NOT stay with them again.
- Maree (7/5): After an unexpectedly stressful booking process, we did enjoy our stay & accommodation was good - Pleasant, clean accomodation in a great location. Absolutely annoyed, and frustrated with bombardment of emails and messages pertaining to the stay, becoming very concerned with validity of sites and if booking was actually legitimate. (Swainson on Hindmarsh via Booking.com x 9 + Swainson on Hindmarsh x 3emails + x 5 SMS, Booking.com x 8emails + x1 SMS, BookingsSync x 1 = 27 in total). Most pertaining to supposed incorrect credit card details (though mandatory fields so how could the booking have been confirmed - another email), or asking for payment - although one of the first emails was a confirmation of having received payment & bank statement confirmed same. Then ones with request to provide a selfie while photo ID and personal details via a provided link - one of the most universally recognised scam processes, although then advised email would be accepted, however still problems with recognising details & attachments - more emails, then phone calls
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional - In a great location for shopping and food. Easy to travel from and to if you're driving. A bit confusing finding the keys but the staff on the phone are extra helpful.
- Cassandra (7/5): Reduced price comes at a cost of more effort needed with admin. - Location and bedroom was nice Check in process was clunky with multiple additional steps, had to actively chase up the return of my deposit. Maintenance needed inside property like lamp bulbs needing replacement and very worn kitchen table.
- Jordyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): All in all a very nice place to stay for a couple or single person. - For me the location was perfect. Within walking distance to most of ther places I wanted to visit. Getting a taxi was also easy. I would prefer a property that has reception staff to pick up and drop off keys and to get general information from. To make payment on arrival also suits me better than having to prepay the total cost plus bond on booking. Although the collection and drop of was easy,if it had been raining that would not have been the case. I also thought a few more basics could have been provided...ie, a box of tissues, more t/bags/coffee and milk. Also not much to cook with if you wish to do so. I bought some champagne flutes and left them there as I prefer them to wine glasses for my bubbly. All minor things and maybe my fault, on some points for not checking things more closely on booking. Some things you cannot know until you arrive and stay.
- Katherine (10/5): Look forward to staying at this stunning property again! - it was absolute gorgeous and in a perfect location a little bit of a rigmarole with the verification etc but it was worth it, great value for money
