Stacey (3/5): Find another hotel - The hotel told me they had no rooms when I showed up with a reservation. Booking’s site showed they had at least 5 more rooms available. I had to inform them of booking.com policies that they honor the reservation or help me find another hotel. They wanted me to cancel and leave, but I refused as the reservation was no refundable. It became very uncomfortable. There were a lot of men in the lobby and hotel giving my friend and I (two western women) disapproving looks. Perhaps they prefer booking for men only? When I began to call booking.com customer service, the hotel finally gave us a room that had a single bed when we booked twin beds. The bathroom facilities had water leaking everywhere. The air con was broken. The staff were rude. We left and ate elsewhere instead of eating the breakfast that was included. I would not stay here again.
