Guest Reviews
- Felicity (10/5): Clean and well maintained property - Property exceeded our expectations and there was plenty of parking. It wasn’t difficult to get to and a short distance from, St Ives, Penzance and Eden Project. We would have liked curtains that gave a little more privacy due to the very large windows.
- David (10/5): Very welcoming and comfortable - The property was very welcoming and clean. The dog treats, bowls and beds were a lovely touch. There was nothing not to like
- Kelly (10/5): A must stay - -Everything you need for a short stay
-Hosts were super friendly and helpful with recommendations
-Great area with ease of access to most routes
-Great sunrise views
-The wooden fire made it super cosy at night No complaints
- michael (6/5): was okay - wifi did not work, bed very high had to sleep on a bed settee
- Kate (10/5): Beautiful cottage in a central location with everything we needed. - Beautiful location with everything we needed. The host (Emily) had thought of everything, especially when it came to guests with dogs. Dog bed, towels, bowls & treats provided which was so lovely. There was also plenty of space for parking & lots of options for walking the dogs. Emily & her family were very welcoming & provided lots of information about the local area. The cream tea on arrival was another lovely added touch too, with milk in the fridge so we could have a tea/coffee. The water pressure was brilliant too, lovely hot water in both the kitchen and the shower. Couldn’t fault it. Nothing, everything was perfect.

- Christine (10/5): 5 jours de bonheur dans une charmante petite maison en pleine campagne. - Le calme du lieu, en pleine nature.
La gentillesse, les bons conseils et la disponibilité de notre hôtesse.
- Hilary (10/5): Made a challenging few days of work very comfortable, thank you - Tasteful and thoughtful in so many ways
- Annette (10/5): A very friendly welcome at a well situated little haven for exploring. - Location is excellent for A30 access and to explore this part of N Cornwall. Very peaceful countryside setting. Really impressed with the host and her family, who were all really helpful and friendly. A cream tea waited for our arrival, in the fridge along, with some fresh eggs from their own hens. The standard of the finish in the kitchen and bathroom is excellent and the whole place is light, airy and modern while still feeling cosy. Very dog friendly. The bedroom is a little small and there is not much space for clothes. Not a problem at all for 2-3 nights but might be for longer.

- Abbie (10/5): Great location and perfect property for a little hideaway with wonderful walks nearby. - The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed for easy cooking, avoiding the need to eat out etc. which is exactly what we wanted. The bed was extremely comfortable along with the seating area. The host and family were also very welcoming and friendly.
- Tony (10/5): We had a lovely welcome from Emily and the accommodation was immaculate. - Everything needed and more was provided for. Good central location for Cornwall.
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evie (10/5): Perfect for dog owners! - Everything! This was so perfect for us and our two dogs. They made sure they ticked off everything we might need, including: dogs beds, beach towels, dog water/food bowls, spare dog towels if needed and access to a hose if we needed to clean the doggies. One of the best things was the fact there is a secure field on site for the dogs to have a good run around; the farm dog might join a game of fetch but he was so friendly. I can’t recommend and thank Emily, and her family, enough for making sure our stay was perfect. The location was also perfect, close enough to any key places we wanted to visit! That we didn’t book to stay longer.
- Catherine (10/5): Highly recommend! - Communication from Emily was good & had a lovely welcome on arrival. Beautifully presented & furnished property. Modern clean & high standard of fixtures & fittings, comfortable bed! Plenty of thick fluffy towels & toiletries provided. Nice little touches like fresh eggs from her own hens & ground coffee & fresh milk in the fridge. I even bought some eggs to take for friends I met up with! Enjoyed breakfast on the patio with sunrise & morning walk around paddock after breakfast. Bbq available on patio for those who'd want to use it.
Loved meeting the furry family of dogs, cat, horses & hens! Quiet location ideal for me at night as I like to go to bed early and rise early. Perfectly located for the main A road to get about SW Cornwall both north & south...also a little cafe is just a walk down the lane and round the corner. I really enjoyed my stay! Would highly recommend!

- Rebecca (10/5): Home away from home. - Fantastic location for us visiting family, but in a great area to explore so many places both on the west and south coast. A very well equipped newly developed annexe with everything you need for long or short stays. Lovely welcoming hosts. Would love to come back if not booked up!
- Carolyn (10/5): Warm and welcoming. Clean and spacious. Won’t hesitate to book again for my next work trip. - The cottage was clean and spacious. As I was travelling for work, it was a perfect home from home and gave me the opportunity to come back, make my dinner and relax. The location was ideal as it was close to Truro for me to travel to my work but also only 20 minutes away from a beach. There is access to a washing machine and there is a local laundrette - however there isn’t a washing machine in the property. No issues for me - however the way it looks on Booking is that there’s a washing machine in the property.
