It is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. It is also a great place for birdwatching. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. We had electricity, hot water, and reliable internet throughout our stay without any issues. A special mention goes to the avocado salad, which was the best we have ever had. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, nature, and a relaxing atmosphere.

• Werner (10/5): Amazing Place with great Wifi - Perfect Location at the Lake to relax and enjoy the place. Nice sun deck at the lake to catch the Vitamin D you need. Boat and Kanu cruises around the lake if you need something to do at reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spaceous and clean. Wifi the best we had on the whole trip in Uganda.

The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the food , tasty and well-prepared. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this place!

Guests are welcomed on arrival by being given a warm hand towel and a glass of delicious fruit juice. Very comfortable rooms and lovely hot showers. Its especially nice to be able to use the lounge area to relax in. The chef provides a variety of very tasty meals available. There are also many outdoor activities offered if you want to see more of the area. For me, it was hard when power went off during the night, as I need to use a breathing device when I sleep.

• Peter (8/5): Amazing view, average hotel - The view of the lake is spectacular, a real highlight of the place. The double rooms are a good size, and each has a balcony with a lake view. Kenneth is by far the best staff member: attentive, friendly, helpful, always keen to make sure guests are happy Apart from Kenneth, the other members of staff were really not great. Not very friendly, not very helpful. We stayed in the cabin, which I guess is the honeymoon suite, but it is surprisingly cramped, and the bathroom was disappointing. And the power kept going off and the hotel was reluctant to put on the generator. These guys have enough solar energy to keep the lights on at less cost than a generator. It would be a game changer

• Marleen (9/5): A peaceful, beautiful and relaxing stay - I loved the location of Keije with the beautiful view on the lake (from both the rooms as the common area). The wifi worked really well which was important for me as I was working remotely. But most of all: the staff made me feel very welcome and taken care off. After staying for 4 nights it felt a bit like I was leaving home! Only point of improvement would be to extend wifi to the bedrooms as well.

• Jonathan (9/5): The Keije Resort was a nice place to stay while visiting Kabale and Lake Bunyoni. It felt safe, and offered time to rela - Great views and a well kept, quite new facility. Helpful staff with enjoyable meals. Nice secure parking. Decent enough wifi was a benefit while finalizing excursions and activities. Not many negatives, but the lodge could be perceived as a bit challenging to get to, and the room we had was a bit tight with limited places to put things. Unfortunately the lodges neighbours on one side were somewhat noise during the time we stayed - but this may just be a limited time occurance.

The view of the Lake is astonishing from the bedroom and the social area we could hear some steps above us through the roof ,there is not a separation between the shower and the sanitary.

• Marco (8/5): Good stay - Good stay, spotless clean, hot water available, excellent service, good food and good breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Hot water is available but the amount or pressure is very low. It’s just enough to get wet. Wi-Fi range is limited to restaurant area .
• Kiran (9/5): Superb - Great view on the lake, we arrived late but they still cooked us dinner. The resort is beautifully built in wood. The road to get there was a bit bumpy.
• Shane (7/5): Disappointed - The property has a good location and its deck area takes advantage of this giving a great view over the lake. The property has a poor design with the deck area above guests’ rooms. The problem with this is that every footfall and every movement of furniture in the deck area reverberates through the wood floor into the rooms below. What should be a tranquil location becomes distressingly noisy. Staff/management are not great. For example, I specifically asked for a quiet room at the time of booking and was told that that could be accommodated, but the night that I arrived I was put into a room that was directly beneath a high traffic on the deck. It was impossibly noisy. Very annoying. While I was able to move to a quieter room thereafter, one night of sleep was seriously disturbed. I had booked the room 5 months in advance, so management had plenty of warning of my arrival … either they just didn’t care or their systems were very poor and my request was overlooked. Another example, I pointed out to one of the staff that one of the, supposedly fresh, towels in my room was very dirty - no apology, just a shrug. An example of poor construction practice - In the second room that I was allocated the outlet on the floor in the shower area was not built correctly with the result that the floor in the bathroom stayed perpetually wet. Also, in a country with malarial mosquitoes why would you construct rooms with wood slats that can’t be closed? Annoyingly, the prices charged by Keije Resort for services are excessive. For example, their dinner meal is 50,000 USh. This is crazy for Uganda and above surrounding resorts. The price for a transfer from town is also excessive - you should negotiate your own transfer.
• Omar (1/5): Bad - The staff is very friendly The rooms are full of mosquitos. In the evening dont have electricity. Whe you wake up in the morning dont have hot water, every part is dark you need your Phone to go to the bathroom if you are Lucky and have batery, because in the night dont have power. I pay almost 100€ for the room and a normal dinner. And the place is very difficult to find it. In Google Maps is not the same direction, be careful.

• Arthur (9/5): Beautiful place, great stay - Lake Bunyonyi is the most beautiful lake I know and Keije has a gorgeous view of the lake. Staff is very courteous and helpful, food is pretty good too. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms (but it does work in the restaurant and 4G reception with mobile phone does normally work in the rooms). Shower is either too hot or too cold.

• Amir (9/5): Wonderful stay at the best lodge in bunyoni! - Wow everything was great! The rooms were clean and spacious, the views beautiful! The beds were comfortable and the staff were great and did everything they could to make our stay the best. They recommended us activities and we went on tours with anthony the guide. Lealeiha was the best! She helped us out a lot, always with a smile and thinking outside the box. You could hear people walking above you (while we were there it was generally empty since we were off season in the middle of the week so it didn't bother too much but could be a bit bothersome to others), and we occasionally didn't have hot water in the shower but the staff helped out during those moments since they're really service oriented.
• Ianthe (8/5): A pleasant place to stay on Lake Bunyonyi - Beautiful lake view. Peaceful. Restaurant option on site. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with good quality linen and mosquito nets. Wifi was only available in the common area. Bathroom was small and hot water wasn’t the best.
• Sam (6/5): Good stay with room to improve - The location is superb. It is beautifully built from wood. There is a nice jetty from which you can swim. The staff are really committed to make it worth your while. The chef can improve the quality of the cooking,  for lunch and for dinner. We heard from the staff that the lodge  was ready for opening in the middle of the Covid lockdowns. We can imagine that they have not had an easy start. There is a lot of potential and the location is, again, superb. The staff is very committed and a very friendly. We would advise a little more training at other lodges. Especially for the kitchen. We would also advise some nice comfortable reclining chairs in the garden and on the jetty. With a few sun shades. It is a beautiful spot.
