Guest Reviews
- Nick (9/5): Was a nice place and worked well for my trip. - Conveniently located to the starland ball room for a concert I was going to The room I was first given was never cleaned from the last person who used the room. They did give me another room that was cleaned after bringing this issue to the front desks attention. Also it seems as only one elevator works at a time.
- Boopathy (6/5): Got cheated, charged me more for parking. I only used for a day and they charged for 3 days. - Got cheated Reception staff
- Michael (10/5): Our stay was excellent. - We had the king suite. The room was spaciouse and more than met our needs. The hotel was centrally located for our needs and easily accessible to the NJ Turn Pike (I95). The buffet breakfast was pretty basic but met our needs (coffee, bagel and yogurt).
- Filiz (3/5): -
- Marcia (9/5): -
- Dana (7/5): - The room was comfortable. The staff was friendly.
- Donatone (10/5): I like the Hilton as I’ve stayed there before & I will continue to choose them. - Great food, staff & service.
- SHAQUASHIA (8/5): Overall my stay went well ! - Staff was nice and helpful the hotel itself looked amazing and very clean I didn’t like that the pool was freezing cold the pool didn’t seem to be running and we were limited pool towels by the security guard
- Serina (4/5): I don't think I would stay at facility again - My event was in the hotel 3 of the elevator didn't work.. paid alot for a old looking room and stains all over the floor and chair
- Montes De Oca (7/5): -
- vanessa (1/5): - Toilet over flowed took hours to fix
Staff very rude
- Suramya (6/5): -

- Bobbi (8/5): I enjoyed my stay. 4/5. Just seemed a little dated which makes it seem dirty in some spots but it was clean. - Good location Can use some updating but it wasn’t bad
- Official (10/5): -
- Gary (8/5): Pretty darn good. - Altea at the front desk Restaurant too cold.
- Trisha (8/5): -
- Echo (1/5): - Most uncomfortable hotel stay I've ever experienced. Not recommended. All room appliances extremely outdated and worn down, room and bathroom was not cleaned throughly, dirty lining and towels provided. Complaint placed to upper management and housekeeping and I still have not heard back from management.
- Rafael (1/5): Horrible experience — dirty room, unsafe shower, and unprofessional staff - Not so many positive things to say about my stay, ever the parking was an unpleasant experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was unacceptable. The shower had women’s hair all over it, and the shampoo and soap dispensers were hanging loosely from the wall with exposed screws — a clear safety hazard. The bed had dry blood stains and women’s hair, which I unfortunately discovered in the morning after sleeping on it.
The staff was unhelpful and unprofessional, showing little concern when I mentioned the issues. Breakfast took nearly an hour to be served, even though there were very few options available.
Overall, this hotel completely failed to meet even basic hygiene and service standards. I would not recommend it to anyone until serious improvements are made.
- Lisa (8/5): - Location Old facilities
- Saba (1/5): -
- James (8/5): -
- Elntin (1/5): Not good - Hello I the hotel is send me email for cancellation because not working the pull and dem charges me the full amount Evrithing
- mashiyat (2/5): Would not recommend. - I liked how the lobby looked. That’s about it and that’s me trying to think hard about what I liked. Last time i stayed here there was a roach in my bathroom. I decided to give it another try and this time there was a fly in my towel and the lights in the bathroom were flickering. In that moment I didnt take a picture because my bigger worry was to kill this fly before it flies away and gets into anything else. For $240 there should not be a fly in my towel and bathroom lights flickering. I feel that’s the bare minimum.
- Giselle (10/5): -
- No name given (2/5): Not recommending. Very poor hospitality - The only thing I like was the view of the property from outside . And from the LOBBY . Fountains are the main attractions. I usually don’t write long reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. When I booked this hotel, the listing clearly stated that breakfast was included. However, when I arrived, I was told that breakfast was not included. That was the first disappointment.
Secondly, I was told there were no refrigerators in the rooms and no Wi-Fi available in the hotel. For the price we paid, this was very unexpected and frustrating. In this day and age, basic amenities like Wi-Fi should not be optional—especially not at this rate.
When we got to our room (Room 748), it was very dusty and didn’t even have any blankets provided. I called the front desk four times throughout the night asking for blankets, and no one brought anything. The next morning, I called again, and someone finally brought up blankets—but they were mismatched, looked extremely old, and had a terrible odor. They honestly smelled like they had been used by hotel staff or were kept somewhere unclean. The woman who delivered them didn’t speak a word, made a horrible face at us, and left abruptly. It was extremely rude and unprofessional.
When I called again to express my concerns, the staff told me, “That’s all we have.”
For a hotel that charges premium rates, the level of service, cleanliness, and overall hospitality was shockingly poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be returning. It felt like we were overcharged for what turned out to be a very low-standard experience.
- Cui Zhen (8/5): We still like Hilton. - We paid for 4 persons stay a night. The beds are full size, pretty narrow, squeezing. Maybe there is no double queen size beds, anyway it is all right.
- Ariella (7/5): -
- Mirla (2/5): Very bad - We were having a bad day as our Air b&b felt apart so we needed to find a place to stay. It was late in the afternoon so i saw the Hilton at this location and booked right away. However didn’t realize that it didn’t include breakfast or microwave in the room. I was very disappointed. The staff at the front desk were rude even the cleaning lady yelled at my husband because he asked for additional soap. We were there for 4 nights. Never again.
- Delaney (9/5): -
- vanessa (4/5): Disappointing - The staff that were present were very helpful and kind! I had trouble with my reservation which was cancelled and charged an extra fee that I was unaware of upon arrival making check in extra stressful, the elevators were inoperable and had to wait 10 minutes sometimes for one which were often packed making for some guests having anxiety while riding. They were seemingly unequipped to handle the crowd they had that weekend. The room was promised to have a refrigerator, it did not rendering the food we brought unusable. There was mold on the walls of the bathroom. I did not want housekeeping and they knocked even with the privacy sign out and then when asking for towels the cleaning person did not speak English so would not give them to me. I called the front desk twice for extra toiletries and was on hold so long I had to hang up and make do.
I emailed the manager Hector Ortez and never received a response even though I was informed he was on premise two of the three days I was there. Still no response. Thankfully the front desk was eventually able to assist me. Thank goodness for the front desk but only when you waited in line, no calls answered by phone.

- Erica (4/5): Disappointed - Simple room Parking garage was very difficult to navigate, limited working elevators, room did not have a refrigerator and smelled stale. I will not stay at this hotel again.
- Luiz Gustavo (9/5): -
- Steven (10/5): - Amazing and clean
- Waheeda (3/5): -
- Gal (10/5): - Nice, clean, friendly staff, breakfast is decent
- Jan (1/5): - The manager appeared unprofessional and lacked basic customer service etiquette. He did not welcome guests, avoided eye contact, and focused on the screen instead of engaging with customers. His behavior came across as dismissive and unapproachable. The property is good
- Rojas (8/5): -
- Kathryn (10/5): Perfect weekend. - It’s a close drive to the NJ Convention Center. It’s beautiful and the staff are friendly. The restaurant staff is awesome.
- Lucille (8/5): - Staff was very helpful and friendly
- Joseph (8/5): Good - Restaurant no free breakfast
- erin (6/5): - It was close by the conventional center The parking is overly priced for 18$ a day . There was no fridge in the room- I was told not all rooms have the fridge. We had bought vouchers for breakfast and got charged extra $5 per person for “hot food”, lastly the towels In the room were not fresh.
- Cryatal (3/5): Charged me 72 dollars for parking for 2 days with for 2 cars which was never mention! Room was dirty , couch was dirty . - Close to the bus station only reason why I stayed . Wasn’t very clean at all! No one said we had to pay for parking while u stay extra charge ! Room was dirty , couch looked like they got it off the street . Not happy about this hotel !
- Robert (8/5): -
- Akash (3/5): I won't stay at any Hilton again.a - The hotel location and the flow of water in bathroom. The cleanliness, the staff behavior. No welcome or greetings, not even their coffee machines, very poor lighting.

- Tiffany (10/5): The staff was fast, easy to check in - The lobby Google
- Fosso (6/5): - It was calm. I booked for 2 suites online. And what I have what completely different for what I booked for. Hopefully the receptionist accept to change and give us 2 rooms with 2 beds.
- Eric (5/5): 5/10 - The heater unit was not working properly in 1449. We did get switched into another room though. Staff was friendly. This hotel is very outdated though. Everything was outdated and old.
- Giselle (8/5): - All Nothing
- Raelynn (1/5): - The waiter in the restaurant! The food, the service- i had to call for towels, washcloths and toilet paper. They never came to straighten room. I had to put garbage out side of door.

- Genesis (10/5): - Perfect place to relax!

- Deryck (3/5): Ruined My Wife’s Birthday. - Clean Staff Pool Lady (Spanish Dominican Female) Was extremely rude. Screamed at me and my wife and told us to get out on her Birthday because we had a drink in a cup by the pool. Won’t be coming back. Thanks
- Janice (10/5): -
- Samuel (1/5): -
- Irene (8/5): -
- Michael Billingsley (7/5): Nice place to stay if visiting Rutgers. - Beautiful property and building. Close to Rutgers U. Staff at hotel restaurant were close to unresponsive. Very disappointing.
- MASSIMO (9/5): -
- Sammy (7/5): -
- Sonia (7/5): -
- Linda (8/5): -
- Roger (3/5): Engañosa - Que cobran por el parqueo $18 por noche y no lo informan al principio
- gajowniczek (8/5): -
- Mohamed (9/5): - Staff and reception team are so friendly Locations is not so good
- Adam (10/5): -
- Taneka (5/5): Ehhh i could have stayed at the Marriot for the same price and got more bang for my buck - Checkin was smooth- My coworkers stayed at Marriot residence and the rooms were bigger and nicer complimentary breakfast and free parking(same price I paid) At the Hilton, the room was antiquated and the TV wasn’t bluetooth enabled. I had to pay 18 a nite for parking and no complimentary breakfast…my immediate turn off was finding a bra ( wasn't mine) in the drawer.
- Ofer (8/5): -
- Jessica (8/5): - Beautiful outside areas to sit Pool was closed and no microwave in the room
- Jennifer (3/5): Not worth the money at all - Nothing Old and out dated , rusted windows , dying plants , rusty ac unit
- Carmen (10/5): Nice stay - Everything is always nice
- Gadi (9/5): -
- Paulena (10/5): -
- Laura (5/5): - The location. Charged $18 a night additional x 2 for parking that was not an upfront expense costing me an additional $72. The breakfast did not have clear posting of cost and no staff members answered questions pertaining to the breakfast charged $45 for two buffets when all we got was a small scoop of fruit for myself and a small plate of eggs and bacon for my fiance. There were a lot of hidden cost with no up front disclosure on pricing and staff was rude about answering questions. Definitely not worth the hidden fees.
Also the room was supposed to have a microwave and did not and the room had partially used bath products put out on the counter. The pillows were the size of throw pillows and offered no support causing horrible neck pain.
- Andre (10/5): -
- Diane (7/5): -
- FRANK SANTANA (3/5): Theft at the Hilton. Stayed twice at said location and both times was stolen from. Money a Meds - The Pool and the work out facility.
- Ely (8/5): My stay was good - Clean, good location I had to pay for parking and very high prices on soda machines
- Keishly (8/5): - Trip from Rochester, NY. The pool wasn't working. The room cleaning wasn't great! Dirty windows, no trash bags, lots of dust, and the bathtub was peeling. The mirror was so hard to look at, it was covered in makeup! The rooms need better cleaning.
- Dana (5/5): -
- David (6/5): -
- Suhash (7/5): Property was good, overall good experience. Lady on front desk took forever to check me in, even though I stood there an -
- Latrisha (4/5): I wouldn’t mind booking a hotel room there again but the housekeeping has to improve. - The location of the property was good. Check in and check out was quick. I also liked the onsite parking area. I had two rooms and the bathrooms in both rooms were not cleaned properly. Feces was on the toilet seat and there was lack of toilet paper, towels and wash cloths. I called for housekeeping and no one responded.
