Guest Reviews
- CM8888 (10/5): - Everything about our stay at Makulu Safari Camping was fantastic. The staff were so helpful, Ayon made us feel very welcome, Pradeep cooked the yummiest dinner and breakfast and Pathum took us on a great safari where we were lucky to see lots of animals. Camping might not be for everyone but this was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip.
- Myrna (10/5): -

- Jeremy (10/5): The stay totally exceeded our expectations and will stay in our memory for years to come, perfection - Staying at Makulu was the highlight of our trip, the food, service and accomodation were exceptional. The location was amazing, you felt at one with nature! The sunset boat trip was so memorable, the night walk so interesting and the safari trip they organised for us was brilliant. Nothing
- Lesley (7/5): Not entirely what we were expecting. - The staff were very helpful and looked after us well. The food was very good and plenty of it The power is by generator, for short periods of time. It was glamping without the glam. While we had an ensuite there was no hot water. All of which we could handle had we been warned. The directions were not at all clear and It's a long way away from anything, down a winding dirt track in the cane fields
- Gordon (6/5): If you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle then this is the place for you. - Very scenic and peaceful setting by the river and surrounded by cane fields. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and arranged a safari for us and also a trip to the elephant orphanage. The tents were large and had ensuite sections. The food served at breakfast and dinner was plentiful and good. Power was by generator and was only turned on for part of the day. The information given on booking dot com and also in emails to me by Makalulu Camp said that there was a restaurant and drinks were available to purchase but this was not the case. Food was prepared on-site at dinner and breakfast time and there was no choice.
- Ciara (10/5): V enjoyable stay - Beautiful campsite immersed in nature. Food was great. We really enjoyed the safari with Sanduka. Boat trip in the morning was v peaceful, definitely worth getting up for. Nothing
- Gary (10/5): - Beautiful, serene and peaceful location, immersed in nature. Very well equipped and comfortable camp site. Staff were super attentive and the dinner was spectacular, by campfire and delicious. They organised a really good safari to Uda Walawe too.
- Trevor (10/5): This was such an amazing experience! - This was such an amazing experience! I was skeptical about camping at first but I am so glad we did! We were taken care of the moment we arrived. The rooms were great and very clean with full bathrooms. They had lots of mosquito nets available for use and we slept great! The boat ride, night walk, and bonfire dinner were all so great! The place is beautiful and has so much to explore. We woke up early the next morning to do the safari and our guide, Pathum, was amazing and took us on a different route away from the other trucks so we were alone and saw all of the different animals. He also gave us his binoculars to use and regularly stopped and pointed out different animals for us to look at. We even got up close and personal to an elephant all by ourselves. I highly recommend for anyone looking to have a different experience!
- Alexander (10/5): Tolle Erfahrung, immer wieder!
- Raina (10/5): Would highly recommend this place! - The location, the tents, the food and the staff were excellent. A lovely rustic place to stay! Really enjoyed the night walk, the canoe ride as well as the sounds of the jungle at night.
The tents were incredible apart from it being really hot and give you the true feeling of being close to nature. The staff is very prompt and attentive and we really enjoyed the local food cooked with ingredients from the neighbouring areas. It was quite hot and the fan was available only for a few hours each day.
- Jacob (10/5): An absolute MUST - Incredible location - really feels like you're in the jungle.
Do yourselves a favour and ask for dinner (around 30 USD for two people), because it quite literally was the best food we had in our entire trip. And they really put on a spectacle with a bonfire and gas lamps to make the campsite come alive in the evening. Nothing. Everything was top tier.
- Amy (10/5): - This is a very special place - if you love feeling 'off grid' and being immersed in nature, yet safe and comfortable, this is the place for you. The rest should be a surprise, so just book!
- Malcolm (10/5): Thoroughly recommend, just sit & watch - Amazing location, great staff & incredible tours by foot at night and on the river in the afternoon. Highlight was seeing a crocodile launch itself out of the water trying to catch birds & seeing a chameleon on the river tour. Beds were a little hard (I like a softer bed) & could have done with a blanket as the nights could be a little chilly.
- Moritz (9/5): Very friendly place in the nature! - Amazing place in the nowhere between sugarfeelds, on a beautiful river. So warm welcoming staff, very very friendly and helpful. We did the river tour, just in front of our tent - and we loved it so much. A quit ride on the water with many birds and water buffalos crossing the river- pure nature experience. Dinner is served every evening in a safari like bonfire atmosphere!
And we booked a full day safari Tour with Makulu. A perfect day, with a lot of time, many many outstanding moments with elephants, crocodiles, …
And in the end, our very helpful guide ‚Sanluca‘, managed to find a leopard. We saw the leopard close by, crossing the street infront of us. Perfect experience for us as a family!
Vender gerne tilbage!
- Ninke (9/5): -
- Samuel (10/5): -
- Ceri (10/5): Memorable stay - Memorable stay at Makulu Safari camping. The dinner / food was absolutely incredible. The staff were also really lovely. The bonfire was so cool! We booked the Safari directly with the campsite and it was such a magical experience. We did two nights stay, although I think one night is enough. Fan in our tent did not work on the first night so was incredibly hot to sleep.
Tents door / mosquito nets had a few holes, but was ok for us.
- Daniel (10/5): A nervous system reset, immersed in nature with the perfect hosts! - Honestly, the stay couldn't have been any better - it was perfect! Being immersed in nature like that is so healing and calming. My partner and I felt completely relaxed from the moment we arrived.
The two guys running the place made us feel so at ease; they were warm, gentle souls who were always offering a cup of tea or an opportunity to explore. We absolutely loved the night walk and the boat trip. Although we were only there for two nights, we would have loved to stay longer just to sit, exist, and be, reading a book and listening to the sounds of nature around us. Food and dinner setting was so beautiful.
- Craig (9/5): Beautiful peaceful experience in nature - Great experience - great food served by torch light, loved the boat trip and fab safari arranged by the camp. Fantastic and beautiful location looking upon water buffalo and among the jungle Accommodation is quite rustic, obviously it's a camp so this is expected and actually really adds to the experience but something to be aware of.
- Nitish Barbaria (10/5): -
- Katerina (10/5): - Peaceful place to stay in the middle of the jungle. Host arranged a safari for us. We also had an exceptional romantic dinner with a great atmosphere prepared by Chana. I got a food poisoning in Ella at the previous place we were staying - and Chana was really kind and helpful and prepared a ginger tea for me and reassured me that in case of any need, they can take me to the doctor, so I felt safe there. Highly recommended place, want to come back one day :)
- Joacim (10/5): Nature is calling - - Beautiful natural scenery
- Good prices
- Good service - Nothing
- Pilar (10/5): - It was amazing! We loved the place, the safari and the staff
- Lior (10/5): - Wow what an amazing stay! The tents are perfect (true glamping with real bathrooms and shower), the food was amazing, the boat tour was great and the safari as well. Definitely recommend! It was perfect
- caterina (9/5): Magical stay in nature - The ambiance of the camping ground is very serene, very much feels in the middle of nature without giving away comfort much.
River tour was lovely, we didn’t expect that.
The dinner spread was a highlight of the trip for us, absolutely magical to dine under the palms and the stars with fireflies around and lit by torches. The food was very good and they were also accommodating to me being vegan, if anything there was a bit too much food! :) One recommendation would be to add smaller lights to the room and warm light, (not bright white light bulbs) it would make a big difference to the comfort level even for reading at night etc
- Stephanie (9/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): Incredible- highly recommend staying and doing the Safari. We did 6 hours and it was perfect. Would recommend to anyone! - Incredible location with a wonderful host. The canoe trip was so peaceful and Dhanushka was so knowledgeable about the wildlife. Nothing.
- Kinga (10/5): - Our stay at the safari camp was absolutely amazing. The setting in the middle of nature was breathtaking, surrounded by wildlife and incredible scenery that made the whole experience unforgettable. Among all of our accommodations in Sri Lanka, this was the cleanest, which made it feel even more comfortable and special.
The bonfire dinner was a highlight, such a great and unique experience.
Everything was so well cared for, and the atmosphere was both peaceful and adventurous at the same time.
I truly loved every moment there and would highly recommend it to anyone.
- Simon (10/5): - The safari camping was more than we expected, so peaceful and tranquil.
The setting was perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of Sri Lanka's busy cities and towns.
The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable.
Great little river boat trip and night walk. I didn't sleep very well, but that's just me !
- Fabian (10/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): - Highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. From the staff, food and camp ground right through to the safari, everything was exceptional.
- Delnaaz (10/5): - It's such a beautiful serene place, tight by the river and it just transports you out of this world. It's glamping but within budget. We were traveling with 2 kids and they wouldn't stop raving about the place. The hammock outside every cabin was a bonus! Loved the always smiling staff and especially Dhanushka who was more than happy to show us around. From a leisurely boat ride to a night walk to show us the uniqness of his place, we absolutely loved our time spent there. 10/10 would recommend the safari with him. We managed to see the oldest tusker Sumedha on our way out as well. Best place for couples, solo travellers as well as families. Absolutely nothing.
- Justine (10/5): - We spent a wonderful night in this camp, we arrive for an afternoon safari and the driver came at the camp to pick us up!
Then after that we went back and they propose us a sunset kayak tour, which was one the most peaceful moment of the travel !!
The dinner was amazing, food was really nice and the set up was beautiful : NO WORDS - middle of nowhere, in the dark with only a fire as a light, so romantic!
After diner they propose us a night walk to see animals, trees, fruits, stars …
YOU MUST MUST A NIGHT HERE, it will be a memory for my whole life :D
- Jill (10/5): - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Makula Safari Camping. It's the most unique place I've ever stayed, made special by the boat safari and night walk offered to all guests. During the boat safari we saw hornbills, a grey headed fish eagle, mynah birds and a beautiful sunset. On the night walk, Dhanushka showed us bats, constellations, the Milky Way, lots of plants and animals, including a tree snake.
The staff are amazing and the tent and bathroom were spotless. Mosquito nets were provided and the window of the tents had insect screens. Torch-lit dinner was great.
A morning safari was arranged for us and the guide was a mine of information and spotted animals that we would have easily missed. We were lucky enough to see teenage elephants close up.
We only stayed one night but if recommend staying longer if you can.
- Berquitta (10/5): Peaceful and memorable - Our stay at this safari lodge was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. Damith, the chef, and the helper were absolutely outstanding — attentive, warm, and always ready to make every moment magical. Honestly, this place would not be perfect without them.
The food was a highlight: traditional, organic, and served beautifully under lantern light by the bonfire, creating such an authentic atmosphere. We especially loved the night walk, which was both fun and informative for us and our son.
A special mention to Damith for arranging a masseur — having a massage every evening outside our tent, surrounded by nature, was pure bliss!
This lodge combines nature, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in the best way possible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable safari stay! In the shower area I would replace the sponge carpet with wood
Niks
- Davide (10/5): Unique Stay with Incredible Wildlife and Adventures - Definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life. As soon as we arrived, the owner took us for a canoe ride on the river that runs in front of the tents, explaining every little detail about the local flora and fauna. It was truly interesting and engaging.
Dinner was excellent and very atmospheric, lit only by torches and the fire. The room was beautiful, cool, and surrounded by the sounds of nature, which you can hear at all times. No need to worry about insects: the windows have mosquito screens, and there is an additional mosquito net over the bed. In any case, there were no mosquitoes.
After dinner, we went on a night tour with the owner in the nearby fields, discovering the local plants and wildlife. The next morning, we went on a safari, booked through the property, which was simply magnificent. A truly unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic connection with nature. I recommend contacting the property before taking the dirt road that leads there. Google Maps isn’t entirely accurate.
- Matilde dal maso (10/5): -
- Julien (10/5): - What an amazing and peacefully experience.
Accommodation, dinner, guide, everything was perfect for us, a family.
Special thanks jack’s fruit 😉

- monique (10/5): Mooiste diner setting ooit!
- Maya (10/5): Beautiful stay - Beautiful place with lovely rooms! Local homemade food was delicious. The night walk and the boat trip were an added bonus! Lovely staff. Would highly recommend! Nothing
- Jakob (10/5): - we had a fantastic experience. the guys were super nice and everything played perfectly. the food and atmosphere were magical. we went on a little canoe trip and night hike with Damith. it was exciting and educational. a really nice place that I give my warmest recommendation.
- Pieter (10/5): Magical - We were 2 days with our kids in this amazing camp. The kids (11 and 13) had their own tent and loved it. Location and atmosphere of the camp is very special, the friendliness and helpfulness of staff, led by Damith, truly excellent. The sri lankan food he makes is very fresh and nice. Even our daughter liked most of it, and she is still quite a picky eater. We had a perfect 2 day stay.
We had on our second day a very good ‘full day’ safari with Sanduka and were extremely lucky with all the animals we saw: from baby Elephants to crocodiles and rare birds. Amazing how he spots the smallest of animals whilst driving over bumpy offroads. The knows a lot about the animals and plants and goes the extra mile to ensure a perfect safari experience.
Ofcourse, the tents can be quite warm if the wind is low and the shower is not warm, but actually refreshing after the first few seconds. Things to expect of course. Nothing what you cannot expect by sleeping in a tent in the wilderness!
- Graeme (9/5): Exceptional Riverside Safari Experience – Peaceful, Unique, and Welcoming - We had a wonderful two-night stay at Makulu Safari Camping. Although we were a bit unsure when we arrived—it's located at the end of a long dirt road and quite isolated—you absolutely need a vehicle to reach it. But once there, it was a truly memorable experience.
We booked two tents, each with two double beds. The tents were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The campsite is peaceful and beautifully set next to a river, offering a real sense of escape and tranquillity.
Our host, Damith, was outstanding. He welcomed us with a boat safari on arrival, pointing out birds and wildlife along the river. He also cooked all our meals, which were delicious and plentiful, served in a stunning setting lit by fire torches. Just a heads-up: many dishes included egg, which some of our family don’t eat, so it’s worth mentioning dietary preferences in advance. Damith was very accommodating and adjusted the menu for our second night. Discuss any dietary requirements on arrival, as they only go out once a day for food, so it’s best to plan ahead.
Breakfast included a beautiful fresh fruit platter, and Damith also arranged a safari in Udawalawe National Park for us. It was a fantastic experience—we saw elephants, crocodiles, and so much more.
If you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled stay with warm hospitality, this is a perfect choice. It’s not your typical hotel—it’s a boutique-style, immersive safari experience that we would absolutely recommend.

- Sigrid (9/5): 36 hours of peace, surrounded by nature and only wildlife sounds in the distance... - Booking the camp (and emailing back and forth about logistics) and the actual reception at the camp were both wonderful and the boys who received us went above and beyond! We were settled in nicely around 1600H and did a little boat tour, and had some English tea and cookies. Our kids used their time to explore the grounds, trying to open coconuts and collecting special leaves (while seeing several lizards and so many birds, and buffaloes in the distance) Then it got dark, and the torches were lit around the campsite, making it look absolutely amazing, romantic and cosy at the same time. If you sat really quietly, you'd be surrounded by fireflies which added to the atmosphere! We had dinner with one other family there but we had our own private table, near the bonfire, all of which was superb! The staff couldn't do enough to help us, talk to us about the campsite and its surroundings, etc. After dinner we were taken on a night's walk around the campsite, where we were introduced to Sri Lankan fauna and flora, our guide knew so so much! Then, the first night.. thanks to the mosquito nets, they didn't bother us at all; however, it was extremely humid and hot that night. For some reason our kids's tent had power (and therefore a small working fan) but our power was out, except for one small light bulb that worked on batteries. ;-) I guess it's all in the camping game!! That morning we had booked a safari for three hours. We were woken at 5 with coffeeeeee and then headed to our jeep, only to watch a beautiful sunrise on our way to the national park. Safari was awesome, the guide knew a lot. After the safari we had breakfast at the camp again. All in all, a well working formula! I guess staying there for more than one night will give you more peace of mind and you have more time ton inhale it all.. but if you're on a tight schedule like us, it worked fine! Thanks guys for everything!! One of the tents could benefit from a little TLC: the flooring I would change to wood or linoleum. Carpet gets soiled too easily and when soggy wet, it just feels dirty too. Also some of the curtains were torn as well as some zippers. All very easily fixed but not urgent.
- Rika (10/5): Great stay, incredible team - We had a truly unforgettable stay, thanks to the breathtaking Udawalawe National Park and the outstanding dedication of the team.
We spent one night at the charming campsite and were warmly welcomed.
In the evening, we enjoyed a peaceful boat safari with Damith, who introduced us to the birdlife of the area – the scenery was simply stunning.
Afterwards, we were treated to a traditional Sri Lankan dinner by the bonfire – the food was very delicious.
Later that night, we joined Damith for a guided night walk, during which he shared his knowledge about the local spices and fruits growing around the national park.
The next morning, we set off on a 6-hour safari, which was truly worth every minute. Pottunh was an excellent guide, showing us many elephants and many other animals.
The boat safari, the night walk, and the dinner along with the incredible safari experience will stay with us as cherished memories. Thank you!
- Jan (10/5): I truely love this place, don't miss it! - Lovely place at the river, very tasty food, espacially dinner with the bonfire is a dream come true. Boat safari on the river, bird watching, Safaris and nightwalk - so many things to do! Also the tent was great, very comfy beds and we loved the view when we woke up - sometimes even a water monitor walks through your area. The team is like a family and we felt vrey welcomed and were really sad to leave after 3 nights. Nothing to add here, one of the best experiences we had!
- Marina (10/5): A lovely place that feels like home - Our 3 nights stay at this campsite near Udawalawe National Park was the best experience we had in all of Sri Lanka. Just a few minutes from the park, it's located in an incredibly peaceful area where you're surrounded by the sounds of nature: birds, peacocks, and even buffalo in the distance. Pure magic!
What truly made our stay unforgettable was the hospitality and warmth of the people working there, especially Damith. He treats every guest as part of his family, and it shows in every detail. He took us on a night walk through the nearby land, showing us the local plants that grow in the area and even arranged a sunrise boat trip where we spotted all kinds of birds, including majestic eagles. It was such a special moment.
They also arranged the most incredible safari for us with Sanduka, a passionate and knowledgeable jeep young guide. His love for wildlife was contagious, and we learned so much about every animal we encountered: from elephants to the tiniest creatures. It was a fascinating experience.
To top it off, the staff surprised me on my birthday with a delicious chocolate cake. I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration!
The food was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes (and they made sure nothing was spicy, which we really appreciated).
One day we had a little issue with our tuk-tuk, and without hesitation, they helped us find and fit a new mirror, such kind and helpful people.
This place really felt like home, perfect to relax, read, and take beautiful photos. Highly, highly recommended!!
- Fiona (10/5): A truly unforgettable experience! - Our family of four loved staying here for 3 nights.
It’s such a relaxing place to listen to birds and enjoy the wildlife.
Damith and the team do a fantastic job in making you feel welcome. They organise all the trips and you really feel like you’re being looked after. Damith’s knowledge of the local area and wildlife was brilliant. The authentic Sri Lankan food is really tasty and even more enjoyable at night next to the fire.
If you’re looking for a pool and western food it’s not the place for you. But if you’re looking for a unique jungle experience, I recommend you book here. The only changes I would make is the portion sizes of the food. So much food! Our children didn’t eat much so we felt bad that a lot was left.
Also the mozzie nets could do with an update, they still worked but we had to adjust them a couple of times in the night.
- ellen (8/5): Overall experience was brilliant the staff are just amazing! It’s a budget tent safari experience so don’t expect any lu - The location and staff were exceptional!
Our friend Sammy looked after us so beautifully nothing was too much trouble. He took us on a river cruise in the morning which was so peaceful. Thank you Sammy! The food was amazing. The Traditional Sri Lankan fare that was presented was so delicious and varied.
The location was amazing with the river running through we even saw a crocodile on our last morning! The sounds of the peacocks were amazing.
The staff organised our safari and we had the most amazing guide Patong. Highly recommend!! The tents and the surrounding furniture are badly in need of an update. Bathroom was dank and mouldy and the carpets throughout the sleeping area need upgrades. It would be better to just have timber floors or tiles as it felts dirty.
- Claire (10/5): A highlight of our Sri Lankan holiday! - Oh my goodness what a special time we had. We arrived in POURING rain but to the warmest of receptions and big smiles. Our wonderful guide Sami and his team were amazing from start to finish. It was the best experience to race to our tent under umbrellas and then be brought a pot of hot tea and biscuits, in fact I won't ever forget it. Supper was outside by candlelight and was super special with delicious food and MASSES of it! We all slept really well and then were up early for our safari tour which was all organised for us. We saw heaps of elephants, including a 1 one week old calf, crocodiles, masses of peacocks and birds. Our tour guide was brilliant and we seemed to always be in the best spot! Breakfast when we returned was again delicious and then Sami took us out for a little trip on the canoe along the river in the sun. We had such a special experience, and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you
- Laura (10/5): - Het was geweldig!
- Beth (10/5): Brilliant memories made! - We had an amazing time at Makulu. It’s very easy to underestimate how much work goes into making a jungle camp so comfortable and welcoming. Sami and his team go above and beyond to provide an unforgettable experience and they genuinely want to give all their guests a trip to remember. As novice campers we were a little apprehensive but the beds are comfy, the toilet and shower functional and the food is delicious. They even catered brilliantly for our children’s dietary needs. The safari trip was well organised the guide knew his animals! We even had a beautiful early morning boat ride on the river. Going to sleep listening to monkeys, peacocks and singing frogs is something we’ll never forget!
- Raphaëlle (10/5): We had the best time at Makulu, everything was perfect! -
- Florian (10/5): Sanduka, Dami and his friend made our stay unique! - We stayed 2 nights at Makulu Safari Camping and were so impressed that we can say - one more night would have been ideal to really relax in this quiet spot.
The service was indescribably good! Dami and his friend are very friendly, courteous, helpful and always available. The food was cooked by the two of them and very tasty! Served around the bonfire and between torches, dinner really is a highlight. The short boat trip on the river and the night walk through a plantation were fun and interesting. Dami explained a lot to us in English.
The tents are beautiful, large and lack nothing. You get used to the cold water in the shower after a day.
Tea time on the “terrace” with a book in hand was awesome.
The surroundings are beautiful with the river and the palm trees. You can hear the sounds of animals (mostly birds). In the evening it is beautifully lit by lanterns.
We went on a 6-hour safari with the driver Sanduka. The safari was a real experience, especially with Sanduka. We had a lot of fun! Sanduka explained something about almost every animal. It was very interesting. He is friendly, does a good job and knows the right spots to see the animals. We saw elephants, monkeys, buffalo, mangu, deer, monitor lizards, crocodile, many birds and camelion.
Many thanks to Sanduka, Dami and his friend for this experience!
- Paula (10/5): Unique off the beaten track and really special - This spot is so unique. It's a bit more off the beaten track and a real nature experience. We had a great time and the team on the ground took such exceptional care of us. I celebrated my birthday here and they even woke me up with a cake and decorations to celebrate!! This was truly a special experience. We went on a night walk which was so informative and learned about the local plants and their midicinal value. We also had a lovely sunset cruise down the river, followed by an evening bonfire dinner surrounded by fireflies. Sounds to good to be true right but, it's a magical place. The tents are a bit more rugged and one needs to have an appreciation for nature to enjoy this spot fully. Take mosquito repelent-althoughbthey have nets in the tent, it's next to the river!
- Jo (10/5): A wonderful experience, with superb service by Damith,Samith and Idunil. - Very Clean tent with facilities, next to the lake.
- Mateusz (10/5): - Super miejsce i obsługa 👌
- Maximilien (10/5): - Magical place. The host, Sami, does his utmost best to take care of you. The included activities are really nice. We could feel that they love what they do. Also the food prepared by Sami was delicious. A really magical place in the middle of nature. A must go if you wanna stay near Udawalawe.
Dodatkowo przepyszna, klimatyczna kolacja. + Super zorganizowane Safari, będzie dużo wspomnień.
- catherine (9/5): Exceptional Jungle experience and safari with local - Back to nature experience with passionate staff who went out of their way to share their amazing knowledge. Thank you to Damith , Udanil and Samitha. They organised a river boat trip, evening walking tour ,dinner by the campfire and safari. The whole site has been kept clean and well laid out. With a bit of an upgrade with new mosi nets, wooden platform beds and washable floor ( wood or vinyl) then would rate 10. But it didn’t detract from their wonderful hospitality
- Sarah (9/5): -
- kanto (10/5): Sri Lankan matkamme huippukokemus!
- alissa (10/5): Outstanding service! The tents are simple. A bit more like an amazing camping set up than glamping. - Service
Hammocks
Dinner
Breakfast
Coffee Shower leaking into carpet
Didn’t understand before arriving what the electricity situation was. There was sufficient supply, we just didn’t know beforehand.
- larsen (10/5): I can only send my sencere recommendation for this place well of the beaten track - Amazing setting in the jungle So near to nature and all the excotic sounds especially at night
- Mathias (10/5): Fantastisk naturoplevelse ! Her får man virkelig en oplevelse for pengene!
- Claudio (10/5): Must go! - Amazing place! Very unique! Also the host was super nice! There were no other guest during our one night stay. Still he made sure we had an amazing evening. He gave us a tour through the sugar cane fields, beautiful with millions of fireflies. Then setup a table with torches around it where we drank beer, played guitar and listened to music. Only thing we would change is stay longer than just one day.
