Basic but very comfortable. > Receptionist not always present at reception - had to wait 20 min at reception for check in. > No hot water for the shower. Usually no issue, but a bit uncomfortable in the monsoon season.

• Maria (8/5): Short but sweet - Really liked how quiet the hotel is at night so slept well. The staff were very nice as they allowed me to stay in the hotel after checking out as I had a late flight so that was brilliant. The location is brilliant, it's down a quiet street but walking distance into the city and bus station. It's very close to everything which is great. The hotel is a little tired and old looking and needs some tender loving care, the bedsheets and room are a bit tired and old looking too. The bathroom is very small and the fan is noisy. Lots of light comes in at 7 am as the curtains are very light.
