• Dwayne (8/5): Decent - Property was in a really great location. In the main area and down a small road so that it was quiet. The shower was good but hot water didn’t last long. Check in was a little poor, I had to message and press the buzzer several times. I was there during a really warm time and a property with a pool would have been a better option for me.

It was only a few minutes walk to Tam Coc Boat Station too. It was so central to all restaurants and bars. + the receptionist was polite, even though it was an extremely busy weekend with a Vietnamese public holiday. He explained all the sights nearby, how to reach them and what to do. + the hotel offers tours, bike and motorbike rental and laundry. We took a tour and was good value - seemed to be slightly cheaper to tours we found online. + smart TV was great. Could do screen mirroring easily. - other reviews mention that the bathroom floor can get all wet after using a shower. That is true but I would say that shouldn’t affect a decision to stay. For the excellent service and value of this property I don’t think it was a major problem it to take my socks off before entering the bathroom. The hotel did provide a tool to wipe down the bathroom floors if needed. - free breakfast was basic (banana crepes, toast, noodles etc) and must be ordered the night before. It was fine for me and happy to have a simple breakfast with coffee to start the day

It’s not on the main road, so it's nice and quiet for resting. The host was extremely friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. The room was spacious and very clean. Even though there was no divider between the toilet and shower, the bathroom stayed dry and tidy, so it wasn’t a problem at all. The laundry service was quick, and everything came back spotless. I also borrowed an iron, and the host kindly let me use it for free during my stay. He arranged transportation to and from Hanoi, which was super convenient -

• Toan (10/5): Exceptional - Nam was very accomodating and helpful during our stay. You can ask him for anything and get a response pretty quickly. The room are quite spacious even with 2 full beds. Things were clean and tidy. Location is walkable to Tam Coc and also with hole on the wall places around to eat/drink by the hotel. I think I could've request it, but I feel each room should also come with a standing/ceiling fan. We stayed during the hot and humid weather and the mounted AC fan is too weak to spread the cool air around the room quickly. Also, not sure why it's not more common in places we stayed in Vietnam but having a small mirror located anywhere outside of the bathroom would be quite useful.

Convenient location - two - minute walk to the main street and 5 minutes to the lake. Close to restaurants and shopping. On a small street and some taxis might not be able to drive down the street. If you have luggage you may need to walk a couple minutes after being dropped off.

Beds are extremely comfortable as are the pillows. Good shower with plenty of hot water. The smart tv is excellent with exceptional sound! Breakfast is delicious and plentiful with a good choice of dishes. It is freshly cooked so you choose the night before. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. We felt truly at home and very well looked after here. Nothing.
