Guest Reviews
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Dorota (9/5): Location ❤️ - Location is fantastic. Nothing can beat this! The facilities were sometimes questionable, but the staff worked really hard to make everything running perfectly.
- Frantiska (3/5): The hotel might have been nice in the past but now it is dead. And everyone who worked there did not give a f*ck. Sorry - The only good thing about this hotel was the nice bathroom and that its beachfront location. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting and the manager was missing all the time. He didn’t care at all. We did not even got a buggy to take us to the harbour and his poor employee had to carry it by himself. We got such horrible towels like it has been using for centuries. The answer we got when we wanted clean a new one: “It is design.” wow
- Marc (6/5): Pleasant -
- Abdiqadir (8/5): Very nice location on his private beach also great staff good clean. Thanks to the cleaner Mr Azim. - The hotel has good restaurants and great staff.
Thanks to Tanisha a very helpful girl.
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khaled (4/5): Disappointing - Size of the room Staff behaviour, there is no breakfast in early morning and and not helpful.
- Sara (9/5): Perfect stay in Rasdhoo - Perfect location, the food is delicious, the staff is veru helpful and friendly.
- Rodrigo (4/5): Disappointing - Great location It’s not very clean. Still in construction. They give me room without balcony, I hear everybody in the acomodation. I didn’t check in, it’s not easy find the staff
- Pawel (9/5): Superb - Great location, beautiful view, nice decoration.
Nice beach, with funny tiny crabs. Good value for money.v Everything was fine, just the private beach has very shallow warer and its not easy to get to the reef to snorkel, so better to go to the main beach. But fone for sitting in the shadow, reading or watching the sea (but better to use mosquito repellent in the PM).
Breakfast was OK, but missed Maldivian dishes.
- Leiretxu10 (7/5): A bit dissapointed, nice place but not as good as it looks. - Dinesh was extremely friendly and helpful, always trying to help, his attention was amazing. We requested information 3 times prior to arriving about the excursions they offered, prices...etc. Tranquila always ignored that part and never got us back. When we arrived there was a book with full details right in the restaurant that they could have shared in advance so we could have made an early decision. The snorkel trips start at 85 USD, double expensive comparing other islands in Maldives.
The room did not have any amenities, only a gel dispenser, no soaps, no champu...etc. And the room was more than 100USD per night. No small towels either. The rooms look nicer in the pictures but not that match in reality, there were many broken things, low water pressure, broken window...etc. It was a nice stay but the pictures are deceiving. The breakfast also was very very humble, no coffee.
- Rok (1/5): DO NOT GO! - This was one of our worst experiences staying somewhere. We travel a lot and aren't too picky, and we don't ever look for fancy places to stay. That's why I picked one of the priciest options on the island, hoping it would be better. Sadly, it was very disappointing, even though the place had its own beach. The apartment was dirty, including the towels and sheets. The bathroom had mold, and the window wouldn't shut. Also, the sink was blocked, and we couldn't lock the doors to the beach from the outside. The worst part was finding cockroaches and many other bugs and animals inside the apartment. It was totally unacceptable. The breakfast was poor too. On the bright side, the staff were nice and let us change our booking to just one night. This really changed our travel plans, and we decided not to go to the next island because we were worried about running into the same problems.
- Razvan-viorel (8/5): Very good -
- Shybut (9/5): I will totally recommend this hotel to my friends! - About the property.
Our stay in Tranquila Beach Hotel was great.
The biggest advantages are private beach and very nice responsive staff (If you ask for something, they will do everything possible to help you)!
Our room with a separate access to the beach was clean and comfortable.
About the island.
We stayed in Rasdhoo in early October, so Maldives met us with rain. It wasn't a big issue, coz tropical rains are mostly short-term, so you still have the opportunity to swim and to have sunbaths.
Bikini beaches are okay, but it's better to have special slippers to walk there due to stones and reefs.
People on Rasdhoo are the best! They are very friendly and kind. There are a lot of mosquitoes in Maldives.
It doesn't apply to the property, because we didn't see any insects in the room, but be warned that the repellent is necessary outside!
- Madan (6/5): Pleasant - Just the location and the staff who work there every day to make our holiday pleasant. The local guy who checked our passports during check-in, and who may be responsible for management (tours and speedboat transfers), is not friendly at all. My daughter got injured on the beach and couldn’t participate in any tour packages with them; perhaps that’s the reason he wasn’t friendly with us. However, I was very happy that I was able to do tours on other islands for an affordable price and with friendly people too. Actually, when we traveled from Male to Rashdhoo, we paid a total of 120 USD for speedboat transfer, with 40 USD per adult and 20 USD per child. But when we left Rashdhoo for Male, he charged us 160 USD, charging the same price for kids as well, despite different exchange rates, 17.5 per dollar, just because I had only Rufiyaa. (Even in Male Airport, the rate is 17 Rufiyaa per dollar.) So, it is better to take dollars just for speedboat transfer, and everywhere you can pay in Rufiyaa. I’m not complaining about a few dollars, but because it’s not fair treatment of their hotel guests. On this island, it is impossible to pay with cards, so take enough Rufiyaa and enough dollars for the speedboat transfer to avoid those exchange rates.
As for the hotel, the main door is not well-isolated, so there are lots of ants and other insects too. The bed in room number 101 is not comfortable. The main problem is that those who want to sleep in a dark room can’t get a good sleep. Also, don’t expect a good breakfast at the hotel.
Avoid the hotel if you are traveling with kids!!!
- Luis (9/5): Superb - The staff very kind
