Guest Reviews
- Dorothy (9/5): -
- Adrian (4/5): I don’t recommend it - The apartment was reasonably clean. It was not possible to turn off the heating in some of the radiators, so the windows had to be left slightly open all night. Due to a flight delay, we arrived late, around 9:45 PM. At that time, the apartment was occupied by someone else who had apparently booked their stay starting the next day.
This was the first time I encountered a situation on Booking where, upon arrival, it turned out that someone else was occupying the property. Removing that guest and cleaning up after them took about an hour, which makes it difficult to rate the stay positively.
- Soo-Mei (7/5): - Beds were very comfy, location convenient. It may be ground floor but the drive and path and not very accessible. Daughter started cleaning when we arrived as she said it was needed. Not enough loo roll 😂
- SDW (5/5): Fine for one night sleep - Clean, warm. Good shower pressure. Loose kitchen tap, stiff shower tap, very little space - felt very cramped. Bed was too soft for me (others might like). Fridge a little difficult to access.
Not really in Chislehurst! Closest amenities in Mottingham.
- Damisi (3/5): Unrelaxing - The location was great and the key access made check in and check out easy. The studio appeared poorly maintained on arrival. There were spiders and cobwebs around the windows and door, which gave the impression that the property had not been cleaned thoroughly.
The oven, bathroom and cupboards were not clean when we arrived. Despite this, guests are expected to carry out significant cleaning before leaving and are warned about charges if this is not done.
The path leading to the entrance also felt unsafe due to loose paving stones and debris.
Inside the apartment, the radiators could not be turned off or adjusted, making temperature management challenging.
- Kevin (8/5): Excellent for our requirements this trip - It had everything we needed for a short overnight stay Nothing
- Claudiu Victor (8/5): - I liked that there is a nice garden and you have a grill available Everything was too small the room was small the beds are small shower is small i was not expected that
- Naroa (10/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): Very nice couple of nights - Having a small kitchen to be able to make some basic food was really useful as was the washing machine Space was a little on small side. Think a small double bed would be better than 2 singles
- Yerai Miquel (8/5): - Muy confortable
- Robert (10/5): - Perfect for the night we needed to stay before getting to our actual location.
- o'dwyer (10/5): Clean apartment, friendly host, parking and public transport near by. - Nice, clean little apartment with parking. Had everything we needed for our stay, with easy access to public transport to get around and into London.
- Jodlowski (8/5): -
- Jan (7/5): Prima -
- Michael (9/5): - Great kitchen and ensuite 2 x singles beds meant bedroom was a little cramped
- Donatella (7/5): Con qualche piccolo accorgimento migliorerebbe notevolmente. - Moderno, nuovo e ben attrezzato con ampio spazio esterno. Silenzioso e tranquillo.
- Shukri (8/5): - Very comfortable bedroom and bathroom The kitchen blinds didn't work so no privacy if someone is outside the gate specially in the night.
- Maeva (6/5): -
- Rebecca (7/5): - Convenient to where we wanted to go. Served its purpose. Room was very small and the beds were tiny, could hardly turn over without falling out. Host also walked into the flat before check out time as we were getting changed to go.
- Amuda (8/5): -
- Dee (5/5): Good for an overnight emergency stay. The place was too narrow for 2 adults to be in the same area at the same time. - Good value for a one night stay. Small and narrow. Hot water was difficult to work. No instructions for the kitchen however it was well equipped. Fridge/freezer awkward to reach as it was under the breakfast bar in a corner. I kept hitting my head in the bar when taking things out of the fridge. Could not put milk in the fridge as it was too large - a pint could fit.
Beds (twin) were too narrow for an adult. I kept worrying about falling on the floor. Bedroom door shuts but cannot be opened from the kitchen side only from a person in the bedroom.
- Thio Huan (10/5): We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely studio in London. The apartment was clean, cosy, and well-furnished, providing - Lovely, Cosy and super host. Nil
- Asha (8/5): - Comfy beds and clean. Felt a bit small and cramped.
- Liz (8/5): Good location for a short break. - Location was excellent for my purpose and very quiet. The kitchen was very small but was fully equipped. There was a fan which was very much needed. If would be very cramped with two people. Much more suited to one person.
- Jessica (8/5): Good place to stay for the use of London 02. But, needs to be deep cleaned. - It was a lovely place to stay! Genuinely was. But,
I never received the email until arrival when I’d spoken to the host. I asked for the key code to enter, took almost 40 mins to get the answers I needed. As no email was sent out (info pack)
When entering, the apartment was BOILING. Concerning it’s been warm outside… bathroom was clean ish, the mirror was filthy. The loo roll holder was dusty, the shower glass its self didn’t look overly clean. Hair in my bed, I’ve taken pictures. I have blonde hair, also my best friends hair is also blonde. This hair was under the quilt, along with the pillows.
The oven door… you have to open the washing machine door to open the oven door. The kitchen silk was filthy, chairs dusty / dirty. Draws dirty, fridge wasn’t clean either.
The ceiling light in the bedroom was hanging off the ceiling. If I stay somewhere, I expect it to be clean if I’m paying. Quilts very thin also, along with dirty kitchen windows.
Over all, it’s a lovely little place to stay, very quiet area.. but. Cleanness wasn’t up to standard sadly.
- Alison (9/5): Great flat for a great price - Good facilities - you get a whole flat for a very good price. Responsive host. Beautiful little compact flat with a lovely bathroom. It has 2 single beds and is small but has all you need. It was quiet and in a nice residential area. On road parking nearby. Couldn’t find the keysafe so had to call host. Also back gate lock was stiff- felt like the key was going to break in the lock. It did eventually open.
It was a little hot for my liking- couldn’t turn down the main radiator.
- Debbie (5/5): Disappointing - Quiet location. Clean. Bed too small. Small single and uncomfortable. Pillows lumpy and very thin duvet. Access to back garden down a narrow side path which had items in way and wonky flagstones causing trip hazard. Barely room to move around bed to get to door.
- Vicky (5/5): You pay for what you get - shame as so much potential! - The beds were nice and comfy and it was nice and warm inside too. We wanted somewhere cheap to get our heads down for the night and it did the job! The owners (who I presume didn’t live there) were quick at replying to messages via what’s app. It’s got such good potential as a small space to stay if attention to detail was looked at / and ‘didn’t like’ feedback was actioned from other stays. Check in was at 3pm but we couldn’t get in until nearer 3.30 as was being ‘cleaned’.
Couldn’t into park on drive as tenant had taken up all space.
There was leftover take away (chicken bones and wings) left in fridge dated 8 Feb. We stayed 15 Feb!! Why wasn’t the fridge checked ?!
No drying up cloth. Washing up sponge was yuk!
Tv didn’t work - no aerial and couldn’t connect to WiFi!
One of the shower doors came off hinges when trying to close.
Cars blocking drive when returning late (this was sorted by owner / tenant in end - but at 11.30pm we just wanted to go to bed)!
- Emmanuel (7/5): Good -
- Thai (6/5): Pleasant - Parking was good and had a number of facilities that were amazing, everything you needed in one place Was smaller than I thought it was but good value for money
- Donna (1/5): Filthy disappointing ruined my day - It was filthy I didn’t like it at all, looked like someone was living init . The dog end , and filthy bathroom, toilet being dirty, floor and towels dirty, things in bathroom cabinet like ear wax remover part used toothpaste ect. Dirty ear plugs used dirty tissue in the bin , half used hair wash. Filthy draw by cooker and freezer full ice stained by food, half used mouldy marmalade and other opened food in cupboard, when requested a waiver charge so I could book something elsewhere as it obviously hadn’t been cleaned. The owner replied she thought it was adequate and would not waiver the fee, in fact had a bad attitude and was basically obstinate. The whole experience lasted 2 hours waiting for her to confirm to booking. Com that she would not waiver the fee . The property was disgusting. Don’t book it.
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Olayinka (8/5): A most convenient location and safe - The facilities and convenience
The tea and coffee left to use
A parking space
A safe ambience
The host was most pleasant on the telephone and gave clear instructions The grassy pavement to the gate
The gate did not lock-I am on my own and a female
The freezer compartment of the fridge was not a great sight
Perhaps a little more substantial washing up liquid
A roll of Kitchen roll would have been helpful
Information was not personal and discrepancies regarding check-out times
- Nadadhur (9/5): Superb -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (9/5): Superb -
- Karlose (9/5): Superb - host nice & polite & helpful. good value and all the bits we needed all was good
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (2/5): Gave me somewhere to stay but did not nearly match my expectations. - Not much ... The place was very small, however was clean. The washing machine was good. It was supposed to be in Chislehurst and it was in Mottingham. This booking was specifically made as it had offstreet parking, which it does, but when I got back in the evening this was all taken up by the young guys living in the main part of the house - and there was NOWHERE to park. I had to leave my car about half a mile away and really did not feel safe doing so. I was not sent any instructions for getting in and had to ring and was eventually talked down on how to get in. The door was secure but up a narrow, uneven path that was difficult to get my case up. I was also not left any instructions for Wifi use and only got the code as I caught one of the people from the main part of the house as they were leaving. The apartment is tiny and it is a good thing that there was only one of me as two people would have struggled. The kitchen did have all appliances but one had to be a contortionist to get anything into the tiny fridge. The yard was unkempt and it is obvious that this is a renovation project still in the process of being completed.
- Fernanda (1/5): I am very dissatisfied with this accommodation. - Anything. Everything is very small and you can barely walk inside. The yard is very poorly maintained and very different from the photos. Location far from everything and without even a market nearby. In the photo you can see the entire house but it will only be in the small window on the side. When someone made sure they accepted pets, but when I arrived we were kicked out because the owner didn't accept them. We had to leave and find another place.
- Gerardine (8/5): Very good - Compact V little space at end of bed.. Close to wall but can't be helped
- Traveleyesingh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malcolm (5/5): The property served our purpose but we would not stay there again. - The bathroom, though small, was excellent. The kitchen was well furnished with a cooker, microwave, and a small refrigerator. Due to confined space, the kitchen area also has to serve as a dining area so it is far from ideal. The location was poor and parking was an issue. While we could usually get onto the dedicated parking area, vehicles parked on the street often blocked us in or out of the space.
The apartment itself would have been great if there had been more room. It appears to be a converted garage and we found it difficult to move around the property, especially the bedroom. The narrow beds were especially troublesome and my companion found himself on the floor in the middle of the night!
The accommodation would be better suited to occupation by a single person.
- John (8/5): Very good - Everything you needed was there.
- Anita (10/5): Super tiny studio in a great location. - The flat is small, but beautifully equipped. We were very grateful to be able to see the car from the flat as we had to carry a lot of equipment on board which might have been vulnerable. The location is excellent, and the neigbourhood was quiet. Great value for money. Perfect for our needs
- Amechin (7/5): Good -
- Rimas (10/5): Exceptional - Good value for money Good location, tidy clean
- Isshak (7/5): Good -
- Ivan (8/5): Very good -
- Ellie (7/5): Good value for money, staff were exceptional - It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it was a welcome rest after the wedding we'd been to. The lady was amazing as we had trouble getting in and she phoned me at 1am to show me how to get in - above and beyond. The mop handle snapped off the wall, the shower was leaky, I had to wash all the cutlery we used beforehand as it wasn't clean (most likely previous Tennants fault there not owners). Hadn't realised how small the apartment was but on the whole ok. The code box was very complicated to use and I had to be instructed how to use it. (however it probably just took a bit of fiddling with)
- Mohammed (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriela (10/5): Nice an peaceful night sleep. - Lovley place and very kind and helful host.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - Good location for our needs. Clean and tidy. Good value for money. Off street parking A little small but manageable for 1 night.
- Anderson (8/5): Very good - It was clean,
warm and the bed cosy, with all the facilities you need.. The TV aerial was missing so there was no TV signal
- Simon (10/5): Studio Flat - Studio is compact it's very well designed and totally self contained with its own front door.
Bear in mind this is a small studio property so don't expect lots of space, however saying that we thought it was perfect.
Property is also a short drive to Chislehurst (5 minutes) where you have a great choice in restaurants from Asian to fish and chips. Perfect accommodation & location. Nothing,
it did get very warm in the property so had to turn the radiators off
- Freestar96 (6/5): Sufficient for a night or two - It has got everything you might need on a relatively small surface area. Exceptionally clean! I would really recommend them to change their description on how to get to the studio. There is a small pathway to the right of the house and then later after having taken the keys from the small safe you can access the side gate on the left.
It was extremely noisy the whole night. As the studio assumingly used to be the garage of the neighbouring house, there is a door connecting the bedroom with the entrance hall of the building. Walls are thin and I could hear everything that was going on on the other side.
- Micha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristian (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (8/5): Studio Apartment - The studio was clean and tidy. The bathroom with toilet, sink and shower was very good as were the towels. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The provisions provided for breakfast were good. The parking space was good. It was difficult to get access on arrival. There had been a pin number provided but no information of where it was located. When we did find it with help on the telephone, the pin was incorrect and we had to call again. When we got the keys I couldn't open the door so had to call again. I was guided through the unlocking procedure and advised that it had a certain way of opening. In my opinion the lock was just faulty. However, it's fair to say that I never doubted the security of the studio app.
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (9/5): Compact and comfortable - Lovely studio apartment, small but nice, looks newly refurbished and nicely decorated.
