Guest Reviews
- Timothy (10/5): - It's tidy and clean and gives you a 'at home' feel.
Especially the wood fire in colder weather! The 2nd bathroom didn't include a shower.
- Pramono (10/5): -
- Pam (8/5): - Very clean & comfortable.
- Marzena (9/5): -

- Andrew (10/5): Really great place and had a lovely stay, felt very safe and at home - Everything, the garden, appliances, entertainment, etc. really nice place and great spot with a good view of the mountains Bit of an annoying walk up the hill without a car but that has nothing to do with the property
- Neil (10/5): - Clean, well appointed and spacious rooms property.
Very comfortable for 6 people.
Great kitchen for preparing meals.
Would recommend this property. Driveway is really steep.
- Lucy (10/5): Stunning views and fully equipped- great for a family weekend or holiday - Stunning surrounds and easy access to the Yarra Lights in all upstairs bedrooms did not work (they had lamps near the beds). The beds were not super comfy but fine for a short stay.
- Lynn (9/5): Relaxing trip with everything we needed , beds very comfortable - Beautiful gardens
Had everything we needed
- Jenny (10/5): A delightful stay for a group friends. - Beautiful old cottage has been very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious, well decorated, clean and comfortable. It had a very relaxed, homely feel. The kitchen was well- equipped. The location was hilly which made accessing the house quite difficult and it wasn’t within walking distance of shops or scenic areas ( like the walking track beside the river).
- John (8/5): -
- Kieran (10/5): -
- Nida (10/5): Relaxing place we will be back soon. - Amazing place, close to town & River.
- Linda (9/5): -
- Eve (9/5): Serene and atmospheric home with all the comforts. - We loved the atmosphere, the kitchen was very comfortable. The cottage had every convenience we needed (games, teapot, floss picks, extra towels, great pots and pans to cook with!). The owner was lovely to deal with, gardens beautiful. Highly recommended. We would have appreciated knowing about the steep walk into town before booking, and the unsealed road and driveway. We were travelling with an elderly person and there were a lot of trip hazards.
- Chew (8/5): Relaxing - Good location Steep driveway and slippery surface
- Darika (9/5): -
- Kathy (5/5): Passable -
- Edward (1/5): Way over priced and dated old interior - No breakfast No heating to speak of
Only 1 bathroom
Further from shops then advertised
Tired old wall paper and furniture
Ridiculously expensive
- Melissa (8/5): Charming cottage, helpful host, amazing town - Charming cottage with a beautiful garden for kids to explore. Great town to be based in and do small trips to explore more of the Yarra Valley Steep hill between house and town restricted ability to walk or ride bikes from house
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): Tranquil haven - Mahmud was a very responsive and helpful host. It's a beautiful cottage and a very peaceful location. The host thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. Our company of six thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in Warburton. Many thanks All good
- Belindasmartin (8/5): Very good -
- Suzy (5/5): Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and only short drive to centre of town. - Beautiful surroundings Lounges could be more comfortable and bigger as house can host up to 6 however only 3 seater couch in Tv area. A few items in the kitchen like spices, oil etc. just basics would be appreciated. Mainly it could have been cleaned much better.
- Helene (7/5): Good -
- Robert (10/5): A great place to relax and explore local nature - The garden is beautiful, and the house felt very cosy. It was also very close to local shops.
The host gave a great selection of things to do prior to our arrival which we found very handy and informative
- Susan (7/5): Has the basics, could have been cleaner ( shower looked mouldy. But reasonably priced nice tv and all the basics covere - Tolpuddle is a charming little cottage at a great price. The main thing we didn’t like was that there were no locks on the loo doors and the bathroom door has glass in it which is quite see through when the light is on.
- Barlow (9/5): Superb - Lovely clean accomodation, will stay longer next time .
- Hana (7/5): Good - Great location, lovely garden. - Bathroom was not very clean, shower has lots of long hair lefts in the draining area from previous occupants.
- Outdoor bbq area was messy with dusty table and chairs and rubbish from previous occupants.
- Not enough hand towers for 6 people.
- Old house smells a bit mouldy.
- Amrita (7/5): Overall was good - Location was good Everything was good, we will come back again
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Character, location, good condition and ease of communication with management Smell of damp in kitchen cupboards and advertised as 2 bathrooms actually 1.5 bathrooms
- Divya (10/5): Amazing stay. Great value for money. Would highly recommend - The house was beautiful. Located in a beautiful town and very close to healesville We had some issue with small baby bats coming in the property.
- Liz (7/5): Good -
