Hannah (9/5): Absolut empfehlenswert! - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Lage ist hervorragend – ruhig gelegen inmitten wunderschöner Natur und gleichzeitig ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Tagesausflüge. Von hier aus lassen sich unter anderem Catania und Syrakus bequem erreichen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist die fantastische Aussicht auf den Ätna, die jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert. Die Umgebung lädt dazu ein, zur Ruhe zu kommen, abzuschalten und die Schönheit der sizilianischen Landschaft zu genießen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Giorgio und sein Team: Alle waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Wer Sizilien authentisch erleben, die Natur genießen und gleichzeitig die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region erkunden möchte, ist in Le Chiuse genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! 😊 -
Frank (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft für Entdeckungsreisen. - Grosses Zimmer mit Platz, Angenehmer Aufenthalt, schöne Terrasse mit Etna Blick, freundliche bemühte Menschen/ Service. Gute kalte Platten zum Wein. Dusche ist klein. Im Umfeld ist es schwierig Restaurants zu finden, man muss fahren selbst dann bleibt es schwierig. Restaurant Il Pepe ist zu empfehlen.

El dueño fue súper amable desde el primer momento, siempre atento y ofreciéndonos todas las facilidades para que estuviéramos cómodos. Además, nos preparó cena durante dos noches y estaba todo buenísimo, casero y con mucho cariño. Se nota cuando alguien disfruta cuidando a sus huéspedes. Las habitaciones estaban impecables, muy limpias y cuidados al detalle. El entorno es precioso, en plena naturaleza, ideal para desconectar y relajarse. Sin duda, un lugar totalmente recomendable si buscas tranquilidad, buena atención y una experiencia auténtica. ¡Nos encantaría volver!
Begot murielle (9/5): Parfait - Un joli emplacement, un hôte très sympathique, un très bon accueil, une chambre, un petit dej et une planche du soir parfait. Un grand parking sécurisé, un mas très beau. Quelques petits iules se sont invités dans la chambre et nous avons dû dormir avec la lampe de chevet pour éviter qu’ils ne reviennent puisque la lumière les fait fuir. La literie était très bien. Peut être que les serviettes de bains pourraient être un peu parfumées car l’odeur un peu gênante, mais cela n’enlève rien à la qualité du gîte.
Marija (10/5): Lovely agriturismo place on the east of Sicily - For sure one of the best agriturismo in Sicily. The place is clean, quiet and very peaceful surrounded by nature. A large pool is also available to use. The rooms are comfortable and easy to access them. The owners are very accommodating and lovely. Breakfast is done fresh every morning and the owners take care of everything. Dinner (salami and cheese platter) is also offered with booking from the morning or day before. Very tasty and we paired it with their own wine. I highly recommend especially if you have a car as there is a secure carpark in the premises itself. We will be back when in the area. Pillows were too flat but that is up to individual liking.

Ho apprezzato molto la possibilità di manngiare il tagliere accompagnato da una bevanda fresca in terrazza davanti alla mia camera all'orario che mi faceva comodo. Buona la connessione internet necessaria per chi soggiorna per lavoro.

MORELLE (9/5): Excellent séjour au chiuse avec un accueil de qualité. Un déjeuner et plateau repas excellents. - Le petit déjeuner est très bon, avec des produits frais et locaux (Fait maison). Une mention particulière pour la planche du repas du soir. Un vrai régal. Les produits étaient de qualité et à un prix très raisonnable. Un grand merci à Georgio pour son accueil, son hospitalité, mais aussi pour le temps pris avec nous et tout le partage sur la région et son travail. Il fait vraiment du bon travail. félicitations Après trois jours passés dans le chiuse, nous n'avons pas particulièrement de choses que nous n'avons pas apprécié. Un point d'amélioration peut-être pour l'avenir, la qualité de la douche.

Malcolm (10/5): Absolutely lovely; a little gem of a place. - Outstanding communication with Giorgio prior to arrival. Wonderfully warm welcome,(quite late in the evening, but food was waiting for us and nothing was too much trouble.) Every single member of the staff was quite outstanding; friendly, efficient, helpful at all times. Evening meals, home cooked, were delicious and served in a delightful courtyard setting. Breakfast was a very varied buffet with lots of healthy options, (along with plenty of self indulgent ones!) Check out was excellent for us; we had a late flight and nowhere really to go on our last day, but without question we were invited to leave our bags in a secure environment and spend most of the day by the pool. The pool itself was lovely, lots of loungers available and also very regularly cleaned and maintained. Our room was more than adequate, regularly and efficiently cleaned, air conditioned and with a safe for valuables. We chose a room overlooking the pool and with a lovely view over the countryside all the way to Mt Etna in the distance. It cost a tiny bit extra but was absolutely worth it. In all honesty we loved it all!

MARIE NOELLE (8/5): Idéal pour un séjour relax dans le sud-est de la Sicile - Le propriétaire Giorgio est très accueillant et s'inquiète régulièrement du bien-être de ses hôtes. Il est aussi un très bon cuisinier. Les repas que nous avons pris durant notre séjour étaient savoureux, à base de produits frais et les quantités très généreuses. La vue depuis notre chambre et terrasse était magnifique. Le petit déjeuner était bon et varié (avec du sucré/salé). Le signal wifi est très bon dans toute la propriété. Il faut le signaler car en Italie c'est rarement le cas. La piscine est superbe! Nous avons adoré Syracuse et les villages de Modica, Ragusa et Caltagirone (entre 40min et 1h30 en voiture). La propriété est un peu éloignée et les petits villages qui offrent un intérêt ne sont joignables que par des petites routes et on est vite à une heure de voiture pour y arriver. Donc difficile de s'y rendre pour un resto en soirée. Nous avons trouvé la chambre assez sommaire. La salle de bain est assez petite (surtout la douche) et mériterait un petit rafraichissement. Il n'y a pas de frigo dans la chambre mais un frigo commun à partager avec les autres hôtes. Ce n'est pas très pratique et on ne peut pas y mettre de nourriture. Je trouve cela dommage car comme ils n'offrent pas de repas pour le midi cela nous a obligé à acheter de la nourriture mais qu'il n'était pas possible de garder pour les autres jours. Le personnel était aimable dans l'ensemble mais manquait parfois d'attention (ou de compétence) dans le service. Des petites choses pas très importantes mais qui font la différence sur l'impression du séjour.

Emidio (9/5): Away from it all and no frills... - The swimming pool, tranquillity and setting of the property are just what anyone would expect to have a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Giogio, (the owner) and his team are always there to support your needs. We stayed for six days and the breakfast, except for the cold cuts and the cakes was always the same. Omlette was the only warm thing you could get apart from toasted bread. Otherwise the it was good.

Ivan (9/5): Wonderful place for relax and have a great homemade dinner to experience the local cousing. - The property is located in a peaceful village situated between Catania and Siracusa. We had a wonderful time here. I strongly recommend having dinner at the property. 1st there are not many places you can go in the vicinity and 2nd you will have wonderful homemade food right next to your room. The hosts are so welcoming and kind, it was a pleasure to be their guests. It was still a bit cold to try the pool, but it looked great, and I'm sure that during the summer months, it can be the perfect spot to relax and chill - overall great value for money. The room was a bit smaller, but this was not a problem for us. Just mentioning this so nobody goes there with wrong expectations. Also, something worth mentioning is the fact that the property is not located in a busy area. If you expect to have restaurants and bars within walking distance, this is not the place. The dinner at the property is great, and in addition to that they have a small bar where you can get beer, local wine, or other beverages, and have a great time on the terrace or by the pool. Something that was bothering us a bit was the smell of washing powder or air freshener. It was a bit on the strong side during the first few hours after we got there. After we returned from dinner the room was just fine.

Wicks (10/5): Superb staff and meals. Excellent location for a totally relaxing stay. - Giorgio and all his staff were superb. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. They went out of their way to cater for my Gluten free diet. The location is quite remote but very relaxing so a hire car is essential. The accommodation and facilities are spotlessly clean. The locals are very friendly and the local beekeeper even showed me his hives! The surrounding countryside is stunning. Pantalica Nature Reserve and Syracuse are well worth a visit within easy travelling distance - approx 45km. Don't follow SatNav on SP28 for Pantalica - it is little more than a track and very windy! Via the SP54 for the Valle dell'Anapo entrance is much safer! You definitely need a car for this location unless you want to eat onsite every night.

An.priore (9/5): Really nice place to experience authentic Sicilian vibes - Quite place, rustic and authentic environment, although relaxing with pool and a good view. Breakfast quite good and varied. Dinners are fixed menu but extremely tasty! Entrance to the venue is quite run down, needs some maintenance.

Cliffordborg1989 (10/5): Amazing property, just small updates. - The staff and the owners were amazing. They helped us a lot in giving us advices on several matters. The view was wonderful and also the food which was prepared in-house was exceptional. They also had parking in front of the property. There was a small park next to the pool which children can play in. Our major issue was that the main road before entering into the property needs a major update. It's filled with pot holes. Would have loved to have a small shop with snacks and souvenirs near the property due that everything was a bit far away and would need to be reached by a car. There was not access to a washing machine to wash clothes so who goes for longer stays may would have to wash everything by hand or prepare enough clothes.

We also had dinner both nights sitting in the courtyard - we still talk about the fabulous lemon and mint risotto ! Thank you for catering for a gluten free diet too. Giorgio was a very helpful host, and the other staff were really friendly, we smiled alot even though our Italian is terrible! Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay.

Maxine (9/5): Short but sweet - We had a short and pleasant stay. The bed and room were comfortable with a functioning AC. The pool area is nice and well kept. The breakfast is basic. The nearby towns we visited seemed very quiet. Then again it was a feast day when we visited.
Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - A warm, friendly welcome from Giorgio and the team. Well appointed and in a tranquil location. The swimming pool is a good size too. The optional evening meal was excellent on the nights we took it. We would definitely make a return visit. The only thing for me was the small size of the shower stall in our room.
