We ended up getting to the place later than expected due to an unexpected challenge but when we called he was very polite and kind throughout the process, even checking if we were alright. I was particularly touched by this. Should have asked for his name. But very much appreciated everything.

Après réclamation, nous avons finalement obtenue la chambre réservée. Le mobilier était très vétuste et délabré, déco très cheap, la propreté n était pas au rendez-vous, pas de sèche-cheveux, pas d armoire/penderie à part quelques crochets par- ci par-là, que 2 petites fenêtres pour aerer (la grande ne se fermait plus après ouverture) Franchement, pour plus de 120 eur la nuit, on espère beaucoup mieux. Cet hôtel devrait être rénové!!

• Patricia (5/5): It was ok, the receptionist was particularly helpful - Receptionist was very good, she was very pleasant and very helpful The bed was comfortable the room was not very clean although bedding and towels were very clean
• S (5/5): House keeping need more training & checking. - No breakfast. Very small room. No chair. Dirty skirting boards & sink plug hole in room. Blinds did not close fully or cover the whole window. Sunlight shone in at 5.15am. Windows let through sound of traffic. Duvet cover was on inside out & not straight. Pillow cases were also not put on straight.

• Turner (8/5): - Location was excellent for city in easy walking distance. Good to have parking on site. Plantation park next door is very tranquil. Simple and adequate accommodation. Bed was on wheels so when knocked in to it always moved. Could be a more solid bed frame.

Das Hotel kann auch nicht entscheiden, wie es eigentlich heißt. - Nachdem wir uns über die Größe des Zimmers beschwert haben, hat man uns ein anderes Zimmer gegeben. In dem Zimmer waren auch Kleiderbügel, die laut Personal normalerweise nicht zur Verfügung stehen. Wir haben den Verdacht, dass man das schlechteste Zimmer im Hotel erhält, wenn man über Booking bucht. Unser Zimmer entsprach nicht der Beschreibung bei Booking und das Personal war pampig, als wir darauf hinwiesen.

• Tom (8/5): Nice still hotel - Well looked after hotel near the centre. A spacious room with a nice view, hot shower and a microwave. It was a quiet area but you could hear someone getting up early or snoring. Edge around bathroom floor needs a clean.

• k (4/5): - Great location & price. Initial room very small and some issues on arrival. Sorted it out with an upgrade. Checked out early due to issues with upgrade fees. Was good enough for what we needed and a great location near the hospital. Wouldn't stay there again.
• Ben (7/5): Ok for a night or two as a budget city stay but there is probably nicer places. Free parking is a bonus and the staff we - Good location with easy walking access to the City centre. Easy to check in and parking was included. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean with decent pillows. The kitchenette would have been a handy feature for a longer stay. Price was good compared to other places locally. Could do with a refresh in the room. There were stains on the wall around the plug socket. The bedside table was grubby inside. Huge kitchenette taking up a large part of the room but inside the many cupboards was almost nothing. The cutlery and crockery we needed to wash up before use as it didn’t appear they had been washed properly since their last use. The sash window went up but immediately fell back down and the blind was missing the stick to adjust it. Shower worked for a while but half way through washing it began to pulse on and off which was pretty annoying once I was covered in soap.. There is almost no sound deafening in the building which meant we could hear most of the other residents quite clearly.

• Paul (1/5): Unfortunate, but not helped by the attitude of the receptionist when checking out - Our key card gained us access to the hotel on our return after a night out, but it failed to access us to our room. We have experienced this at other hotels before but when reset at reception they are generally ok. We rang the emergency number which just kept ringing. It took the member of staff on duty over an hour to find us as apparently he does not respond to phone calls but is only on duty 'in case of emergencies'. Surely it would be possible to forward incoming calls to the member of staff on duty when reception is closed instead of finding out by chance. On checking out the receptionist whilst being apologetic with the situation felt it was ok as 'he would have found us on his rounds eventually'

• Danielle (9/5): I loved it! I’ve been before and won’t stay anywhere else when traveling to Norwich - Great location for the city centre. Lovely staff, facilities are great value for money. It was overall well cleaned but could’ve been better in areas. Especially in the bathroom and cupboards they were dirty.

• Deborah (7/5): Good Value, Quiet Location - Quiet area and all the hotel guests were quiet. Excellent location for visiting Norwich. Next to the Plantation Garden. The staff were helpful. The kitchenette is useful. Bathroom nice and spacious shower in the double room. Cold the first night, the staff soon provided additional bedding. There is no wardrobe, there are wall pegs. Take coat hangers with you.

Towels were clean. place offered to us was not the Hotel in above Image nearby old house. We got 2 family rooms and a double room Down staires family room 100 - On hot water on shower, Bathroom window covered with black mould No hot water on sink inside room , No plates or dishes as compared with upstares family room. Dustbin under the sink was full of rubbish. Bathroom Commode on upstaires family room was not cleaned had stains of who knows what. Receptionist cleaned that for us when pointed out. Room 105 Beeding stained probably not new stains

• Rowena (7/5): Very pleasant and lovely staff - Basic but comfortable and just outside the central city but close enough to walk in. Plenty of characterful pubs, restaurants and take-outs close by. Lovely gardens less than three minutes walk away.
