Guest Reviews
- GARCIA (7/5): Great view of tge pyramids on a budget - We had a very pleasant stay at the Pyramids Hotel. The room was nice, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job and were always attentive. (Gamila, Tsbeh,Samah,Heba)
A special mention goes to the breakfast manager Nasr at the restaurant, who made sure we had a delicious breakfast every morning — a great way to start the day. Overall, all the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made our experience even better.
The only downside was the noise outside, which could be quite loud at times. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay. Just the area and the noise from the exterior
- Olebogeng (9/5): - The ambiance, the people are so friendly too..
- Azzurra (6/5): - Vista mozzafiato Personale gentile e cortese ma
- Martine Liliane Anna Marguerite Jeanne (8/5): Nice place to rest with a nice view of the pyramids from the restaurant terrasse -
- Gaggan (10/5): - Everything especially the friendly staff.
- TOMASZ (8/5): Great location near piramids and grand new giza museum - perfect view from the taras noice from the street, but it is not a hotel, it is Kair Giza noise in everywhere
- Alicia (7/5): I recommend the pyramids hotel for a few days if you want to visit the pyramids. Perfect location, great view, clean roo - The staff was really nice, helpful and the view from the terrace was amazing. We arrived later than expected and were hungry after the flight. It was already past midnight but still the made us some food. The rooms are spacious, clean and for Cairo definitely very good. The staff is very friendly, however for breakfast the staff could barely understand any English, which was a bit difficult. The food is included, they offer tourist food, but the taste could be improved a little. However, for a few days and for the price it’s totally fine!
- Mahmoud (5/5): - Hotel staff assisstance The bathroom
- TOMASZ (9/5): Great hotel just a small walk to Piramides and Sphinx complex - Excellent localization - just 15 minutes walk to the Piramids and Sphinx complex. An ordinary simple sweet breakfast - enough to keep you from being hungry until the night. EXCELLENT dinner ( supper ). Helpful and friendly staff. AMAZING view of the Piramides from the restaurant. Noise from the street till the late night. But it is not the hotel - it is Giza and Cairo. It is Egypt. Noise is everywhere.
- King (9/5): Best place to stay for once in a lifetime affordable trip! - Perfect location for all that you would want to see.
View from the terrace is incredible. Not much to be negative about really - perhaps serve evening food a little later? Not a big issue.
- Talha (1/5): Horrible - Nothing We were sent to another hotel, without any comfort because I problem in the pipeline in this hotel.
We paid extra to have pyramids view room , all fake , the reception said there is no view..
Cleanliness better no comment
Bed linen was dirty
Loo was disgusted and smelly.
- Van Nieuwenhove (2/5): Only the view is worth it :/ - Only the view Everything else was not worth the 3 stars,
One of most awful hotels I ever stayed.
- Ximena (5/5): Good - Location Cleaning and organization, thy didn’t have my room ready
- Leonella (9/5): Absolutely amazing! - I had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The experience was incredibly comforting, my room was much larger than I had anticipated, and the view from the rooftop was nothing short of breath-taking. The staff was exceptionally kind, warm, and welcoming, always with positive energy and a great vibes. They truly went above and beyond, even making sure I was comfortable late at night and bringing me water when I couldn’t get any myself. I truly felt so grateful for this place and would happily choose to stay here again in the future The only minor downside was a bit of outside noise late at night, which made it a little difficult to fall asleep at times. But aside from that, everything else was perfect.
- Balázs (8/5): -
- Laura (7/5): - Las vistas a las pirámides. Cama cómoda. Desayuno abundante. Estaba sucio, con pelos por la cama...
- Ismael (10/5): Semana Muy Agradable - Las vistas increíbles. La habitación muy cómoda! El personal súper amable y atento.
- Alvarez (10/5): -
- Garcia Meregote (10/5): MEJOR JOTEL CON LAS MEJORES VIDTAS A LA PIRÁMIDES - Si vista a las pirámides es imponente. Todo excepcional. Persona muy atento. Nada que decir
- Muhamed (5/5): -
- Muhamed (5/5): -
- Deepak (10/5): -
- Walid (8/5): Very good -
- Gowrisankar (7/5): Good - location
- Walid (7/5): Good - Staff Internet wifi is very bad.
- Carlos (10/5): Perfect. - Everything, very good price-quality rate. Amazing views, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, optimal location. But the best are the workers, they helped me with everything, taxi to the airport so I got a fair price (while I waited they gave me a free drink), they helped me to rent a camera and always make sure I was taken care of. Also the terrace is great to relax, the food is awesome (taste and quantity) and the waiters are the best. If I come back to Cairo I will stay here.
I’m 20 years old, first time in Egypt and travelling alone so I appreciated their help a lot. The neighbourhood seems chaotic but its how they live, its not dangerous at all, everyone is friendly. Nothing
- Dilsher (1/5): Your cheater ka fraud - 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
- Jacqueline (1/5): Bad - The property smelt of smoke. It was very dirty. The linen was dirty and smelt of smoke, we requested that the room be cleaned and our linen changed. The staff took our key, apologized, and said they would attend to it, but nothing was done. The breakfast was cold and seemed like they recycled the food. The staff were friendly but not worth the money to stay there.
- Saleha (9/5): Great view and excellent staff. - Great view and lovely staff.
- Yaren (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (10/5): A brilliant place to stay with friendly helpful staff - Excellent location, ten minute walk from the Sphinx. Brilliant rooftop terrace with clear view of the pyramids while relaxing, eating breakfast and dinner. We loved everything about this hotel
- Diana (9/5): We had an amazing time with my friends there, friendly stuff, good price, beautiful view - Beautiful view from the roof cafe,
Very hospitable stuff,
Ready to decide all the questions
- Michelle (5/5): Passable - The view of the pyramids was very nice. The rooms were very clean. The food and breakfast were very disappointed.
- Averkov (7/5): Pretty good - Stayed for the view, of course had a little mis communication about the stay, but we figured it out and they made up for it. Good guys.
- Caterin (10/5): Exceptional - Location , facilities, staff
- Wissal (3/5): Poor -
- Hiroshi (1/5): Messed. - Nothing The day I got there, there was some problem in that hotel so I have to either cancel the reservation or they would send me another accommodation which super far from the hotel. But at this point I was super tired from traveling so I agreed that I could stay different places.
The first room they suggested me was so small and they were super weird vibes, and second room was not ready to be stayed so I had to wait 20 minutes to be cleared. whole reason why I decided to stay there is because the hotel is pretty close by the pyramid and the view from roof top and have breakfast there which I didn’t get it because I was staying in the different location.
Not to mention that originally I have booked 2 nights there but I changed my mind so I changed to the 1 night stay before the arrival day ( no cancellation fee required) but they tried to charge me for 2 night fee.
Whole experience made it worth and I would never stay there again.
- Wasseem (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable place and clean and new furnitures in all rooms, good hospitality from the stuff.
5 minutes walk to the Pyramids no need to take any transportation.
Very nice experience to stay in Pyramids Hotel
- Paulina (8/5): Very good -
- Paulina (8/5): Very good -
- Hakeem (10/5): Exceptional - I like roof top view, welcome drinks is refreshing, the view from my room is fabulous, the room size is suitable for 6 of us with children. The road From hotel to pyramid is so close, road share with camel, donkeys, horse, cars. I love the view. At night, the pyramid with light can be seen from hotel. Fabulous view. Breakfast is good. I satisfy
- Ghazeli (1/5): Bad - Nothing It was the worst hotel ever charging extra for littke thing worst ever there reveiws they pay people to write
- Ibrahim (7/5): Good -
- Mhamed (1/5): It was a pure disastar , please avoid it despite price is so attractif... - nothing to highlight honeslty!!!! the man who is working in the roof top in the restaurant to serve the breakfast , he tried to charge us 15$ !!!!!
very very poor breakfast.
Hotel was overbooked and they were not able to find a room for us despite we booked one month ago.
- Rebelo (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was included in the price, the waiter offered us juices and we accepted, after drinking the juice and still at the breakfast table the waiter said we had to pay and practically forced me to pay on the spot, he charged me 200 in Egyptian currency and then he removed everything that was on the table, I was perplexed by it all and in disbelief because he clearly acted in bad faith.
- Damian (9/5): A welcoming place to stay with helpful staff and very close to the Great Pyramids. Recommend - When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff and given a drink of hibiscus. The views from the terrace look directly onto the Pyramids and are amazing. My room was spacious, clean and had a kettle and fridge. Sami is a very helpful host at the terrace restaurant. As I arrived late, I decided to order dinner, which was excellent. The breakfast is generous as well. Also, many thanks to Mustafa my patient driver and guide who took me to several places - including all the way to the Birqash camel market. After dropping me off, he was kind enough to walk with me to show me exactly where Giza metro station is. If you want any help organising your visit around Giza, I recommend speaking to the staff, they can arrange everything for you, at a fair price and with people you can trust. This is a really good place to stay if you are travelling on a budget.
- Cristinazz (9/5): Superb - Nice and helpful staff!
- Tawadrous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yousef (1/5): Worst hotel in the whole month I stayed in Egypt? - The workers are a good people however there is not enough care for the residence in the hotel. It seems like they care more about charging people more money and providing less services. I had a really bad experience here at this hotel I had booked six nights and since the first night they told me that there was a problem with the Internet after two days I checked again. There was still no Internet. I asked the morning guys and the night guys and every shift gave me a different reason why the Internet was not working. However, I came to find out that because I had gotten a good price on the rooms through booking. They were mad that I was not charged the price. They wanted to charge me originally because of that they had turned off the Internet for our rooms. First day we arrived. The room was not clean. The covers were dirty. The pillow covers were dirty. There were ants crawling around the bed and by the table. The kitchen is on the roof. It is not sanitary. The guy cooking does not wear proper clothing. The hotel is not set to be a hotel. It was an apartment building that was changed to be a hotel. I honestly recommend other hotels that are way cheaper and you get way more for the price you pay. There are a lot more issues that I wanna provide, but will stop here for now. Definitely will not come back here.
- Asmaa (9/5): Superb - Nice cooperative staff ,nice view of pyramids ,wide clean rooms
- Marwe (2/5): Very poor - The view was amazing The staff always promise to fix or clean the room the never do it .
Everything in restaurant double or triple price then outside for example oral cost 20 Egyptian pound outside here 80 pound .
And everything about money in hotel
- Safi (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location nice staff excellent pyramids view
- Jhon (10/5): Exceptional - The view was amazing like 3d nice staff clean room
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Wei (10/5): Highly recommended. The staff are very nice. Great location for pyramids - The breakfast is a lot and delicious, great view from the terrace
- Santiago (10/5): Don't think twice and book here if you want to go to Giza and have a nice stay. -
- Santiago (10/5): Don't think twice and book here if you want to go to Giza and have a nice stay. - Great roof top view. Very very friendly people and helpful. The place is quite new so everything works as expected. One night there was a lot of noise, like they were working on an adjacent room and it was hard to sleep
- Ayan (9/5): Superb - Very good stuff and the hotel Also ..location is awesome
- Cristina_seceanu (10/5): Exceptional - The best view in the city.
- Ribeiro (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing staff, more frendly, good recepction, top 10000000
- Deyou (7/5): Good -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Hussein (8/5): Excellent Location and view of the Pyramids from the Terrace , good breakfast and comfirtable -
- Francesco (7/5): Good - Position really near to pyramids, kind staff, accommodating we had a problem with the room and they changed it
Value for money was good
Free transport from the hotel over 3nights of staying We were supposed to be in a room the a balcony, that never happened.
The fist room we got was quite dirty both bad and floor but when we reported that they changed the room immediately
- Annie (10/5): Will stay again. - Breakfast great. Staff was amazing. Everything was great. Our tour guide was excellent. The driver was amazing.
- Simon (8/5): One of the best hotels near the Pyramids - The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Mr El Gabry was a proper gentleman, who took a genuine interest in our enjoyment. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The property was well placed for visiting the Pyramids. The local mosque woke us up at 5.00am. We spent too long making what should have been a simple card payment. It would have been easier to order breakfast if we had a better grasp of Arabic.
- Camila (4/5): My honest review - The people working there were super nice, and that they picked us up from the airport. The location is good if you’re going to the pyramids, but not if you want to see Cairo. The room was dirty, the bed full of hair and there was dust and waste everywhere. They leave complementary water and one bottle was opened. We paid for a Mountain View room and they gave us a room that was looking to a wall. Overall the worst part is that everything is very dirty.
- Camila (7/5): My honest review (2) - This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. We like the location and that this time they gave us a room with the nice views. The room was clean. The hygiene of the breakfast is something that we didn’t like. There was bread crumbs in the honey and everything looked like they are recycling from other people breakfasts leftovers.
(8/5): Very good - the view from the rooftop there was no coffee in the breakfast
- Kristina (5/5): Maybe a place to stay when it’s ready. - The location and the breakfast on the roof top with pyramids view. Staff contacted me via WA and reacted to complaints. It resembles a construction site rather than a hotel. Dirty and not ready. Staff was friendly, but it felt like a few school boys playing hotel.
It stated to have sound proofing but was extremely noisy. Single-glass windows that didn’t close properly.
- Michael (8/5): Nice hotel and very helpfully employees. - The breakfast was nice. All of the employees including the own was very nice and helpfully The credit card machine was down. So, I had to find a way to pay in cash
- Rowena (10/5): A wonderful place to stay. - If you want to have a spectacular overlooking view of the pyramids then this a perfect place to be, especially when you’re having your breakfast. It is only 10 minutes away from the pyramids and it is quite near to other tourist spots like citadel, churches, mosques and markets. The staffs are very accommodating and always ready to attend to your needs. The room is constantly cleaned everyday and the food is great. The place is not searchable in google, so we had a hard time finding it, however they offer a pick and drop from the airport which is free, so I suggest you avail it and inform the property in advance the time of your arrival.
- Christopher (10/5): Pyramids Hotel was the best experience in Egypt and it is 100% the location I will book for my next stay in Egypt! - Th view and access to all areas of Giza was unmatched. The service was top notch and the staff assisted with anything that was requested. Nothing. Best experience I could have hoped for when booking this location.
- Giannopoulos (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very friendly and helpful! The view from the hotel is amazing. I’ll definitely suggest it to everyone. See you next year!
- Sandra (10/5): It was a really wonderful stay - The hotel is very close to the pyramids. They also have a delicious Egyptian breakfast with a view of the pyramids. Also, the workers team is very nice and they have tourism programs at an excellent price.
- Haoshen (7/5): Good -
- Bilal (10/5): It was excellent, the staff were nice, the view was great, the beds were comfortable - It’s view was fantastic, and the staff were very kind The location was a bit odd, and didn’t show up on maps
- Silumba (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is so amazing 😍 just the view itself is good such that you are able to see the pyramids on a clear view.the food is good and the staff were friendly and helpful...the next time again I will visit the hotel again.. thanks to the pyramids hotel.
- Malak (1/5): Bad - No thing I can't reach this hotel cause of the man that I contact him in the hotel by hotel number with non helper man he was so bad he could answer one time then didn't answer he was bad guy first he asked me money in dollar and I said not I don't have dollars i have Egyptian pound he said sorry your book will be canceled I had no choice in this time and I finished my call then he called me again and say we can accept Egyptian pound and I said okey and I try to reach hotel location and he didn't help me anymore it was bad experience I don't want to do it again.... thank you
- Maged (9/5): Superb -
- Carlos (4/5): Disappointing - The view of the terrace is very nice The property is still under construction and the room was dusty, the internet wasn’t working properly and there was a lot of noise due to construction , the view of the room wasn’t to the pyramids and they only take cash in foreign currency as means of payment
- Mahmoud (10/5): Exceptional - Very beautiful place with pyramids view
