Guest Reviews

- Irynka (10/5): - Not far from metro, all facilities, 24/7 shop nearby, hospitality of owners and staff 💗 Lack of my time(
- Astrid (4/5): If you have a 600 euro budgedt for 5 days stay, find something else. - That is private; I didn't have to share an apartment with anybody. It is within walking distance of a supermarket. Transportation:
The apartment's location was not the most convenient for the purpose I rented it for. Walking towards the venue of the event I attended (Cardo Roma) was impossible. I had to take an expensive 7-minute taxi ride or spend 45 minutes going by public transport. I did not count on that since it is pretty close.
I did not feel comfortable arriving at the apartment at night. Coming from the metro station, a large dark park was scary to cross. This didn't feel safe for a female who is not local. Going by bus was also challenging at night; a couple of times, I had to wait 50 mins for a bus in service to arrive, even when it was just 21 hours.
Apartment:
Although the apartment's area is quite large, I found it quite claustrophobic. I know this is quite a personal experience, but the apartment is on the first floor, and it only has one window to the outside world, which leads to a large building. It felt more like a basement. The location is okay for a place to sleep, but the bed and its lining were not comfortable. Considering I paid 112 Euros per night, having a comfy bed was the minimum I was expecting. The place is generally quite cold, and the heater (which was relatively small and only in the sleeping area) did not work! Besides, no instructions were left on how to use it properly, which made me very angry.
Communication (interaction with owners)
I was instructed to communicate with the person in charge via WhatsApp, which I refused because I do not use that app. I was then told in a passive-aggressive message that I must install it because it was the only way to communicate with them. When asked to be called instead of texted, they refused because they could not call European phone numbers outside Italy. What? Bottom line: The management of this property has been outsourced to a company that is treating its customers quite impersonally (borderline rudely).
