Guest Reviews
- Mel (10/5): - Fabulous accommodation
- Jackie (9/5): Excellent stay. Very comfortable and clean with great facilities. Highly recommend -
- Tracy (4/5): - Not a lot ..good location that's it Most of it..
Uncomfortable not suitable for 8 adults..
- Harry (8/5): Lovely and convenient place to stay. Slight room for improvement 👍👌 - Overall really nice and convenient property to stay at for visiting Haworth. The property was generally clean good facilities. Beds where comfortable and bathrooms both showers really good. Hot tub was excellent addition although next to a main road 😅. Games room looking tired and well used. Areas where decorating need touching up probably due to the fact its a well used & popular property. Property was generally clean but not spotless dusty blinds and skirts, marked walls from previous visitors. Sofas and scatter cushions and blankets could probably do with being renewed.
- Donna (10/5): - Absolutely amazing!! Clean & comfortable & beautiful decor Theres nothing to say! Maybe the pool cues could be updated
- Angela (7/5): A comfortable stay again but…. - Location
Hot tub
Warm. Clean bathrooms, good showers We came last year and it was exceptional but this year was more expensive and things weren’t as good.
There was no welcome pack this year. Issues in the visitors book hadn’t been addressed. Freezer was unusable as desperately needed defrosting. Kettle was broken. It was still comfortable and the hot tub was great but just not as good as last year.
- Georgia (9/5): -
- Claire (10/5): - Everything. Location excellent. Accommodation spotlessly clean. Games room and hot tub a bonus
- Ray (8/5): -
- Larkin (10/5): Wonderful stay - The house is great, as seen in the pictures with everything you need. The games room and the cinema room provide the additional living space needed for 2 families. Everything was clean, well maintained and homely. Easy walk to Haworth village with lots of places to eat and drink. Nothing
- Julie (9/5): Loved it ! - Fabulous property & lovely rooms There was only 7 of everything (plates etc) although it was for 8 people
- Akmud (10/5): -
- Joan McGhee (10/5): Excellent property - Excellent property. The entire house was so clean, 4 bedrooms fresh, warm and plenty of extra throws if needed, bathrooms well stocked, towels, toilet rolls etc and always plenty of hot water (8 adults showering). Kitchen well stocked with 'welcome pack' and a bottle of fizz. Lovely patio area out front with hot tub and games room downstairs. Local shops and restaurants literally on the doorstep. Excellent base for our granddaughter's wedding in Long Lee. We were a family of 8, aged 26 to 71 and everyone loved the house, plenty of space for everyone. Had a few queries before we travelled and they were answered quickly, great customer service. Totally recommend this beautiful property and, for all your help, thank you. Only TINY gripe was the ground area out on the front patio. It was very rough concrete so it's handy to take flip-flops or "hotel comp slippers" with you. (all the ladies had brought comfi sandals/flip-flops to change their 'heels' after the church wedding for the teepee reception at a farm) so they were totally organised and happy! Again, only a mini gripe.
- Claire (8/5): Lovely stay with plenty of room for the family without being cramped. We enjoyed the games room - Fully equipped and clean. Good accommodation. Centrally located. This isn’t a dislike. But the hot tub is out the front of the property on the road albeit behind a fence.
- L (10/5): - Second time staying here, the house is great amd I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area
- Abbie (10/5): Amazing - the rooms were so clean and you got a lovely hamper for the weekend, we had a few issues with the hot tubs and the owners came and sorted it out straight away, we were amazed at how quickly they arrived and were so grateful, such friendly owners, we will defo come again!
- Charlotte (10/5): Great house for all ages. - The property was in a great location, just across the road from the Keighley & Worth Valley Steam Train. We had a multi-generational holiday with a dog and the property was great at accommodating our various needs (children, pets, limited mobility). The hot tub was great - kids and adults alike loved this. The cinema room and games room were also very popular. The beds were really comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us. The owners sent a useful guide beforehand with all the information we needed regarding the property and local area. A very minor detail but we couldn't find additional bin bags once we'd filled the one provided.
- Lauren-Jade (9/5): - House was really clean and plenty of kitchen equipment and cleaning materials. Was concerned about the hot tub being in the front of the house but the fence is high so still feels private. Check out was at 10 when advertised as 11 on booking.com and that hour does make a huge difference. Only 1 towel pp, difficult to get them dry when using to shower and the hot tub when its too hot to put the heated towel radiators on.
Both really would be non-issues if they were communicated in advance.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (9/5): Lovely break. - Comfy beds, lovely set up, great location.
Great welcome package which was greatly received. Ring doorbell at the back, I didn't feel safe in case it had recordings, and it was next to the hot tub, so I covered it while my son used the hot tub.
Old pair of socks on the table outside when we arrived, which made me wonder about the cleanliness, but only small things really
- Alison (10/5): Perfect home in a great location. - Really lovely home. It was perfect for two families with teenagers to get away together. Loved the pool table, cinema room and hot tub! Haworth was lovely too.
- Hayley (10/5): The most perfect pre-wedding stay I could have asked for !! - Stunning property - everything we could have asked for!
- Jane (10/5): It was everything we need for our stay and have family time. - It was just what we wanted, the house had everything from the fully equipped kitchen, had a lovely welcome pack, the games room and cinema room were used all the time, the bedrooms were lovely and beds very comfortable it was just perfect. Nothing It was just what we wanted.
- Liz (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable, already thinking about when we can return! - Loved this house! Such a great space, lots of bedrooms, great kitchen and dining area and the basement cinema room and games room really made it! Nothing!
- Kai (10/5): Excellent will be returning… - Well equipped with everything you need & more… Great for families to relax. 5 minute walk (if that) from the main high street. Nothing :)
- Ally (10/5): gorgeous, as described - highly recommend !!! - gorgeous, so so well equipped, everything you need and more, perfect location - near amenities and short walk to Main Street. great value for money. we would definitely stay again! hot tub wasn't that hot!
- Tracey (10/5): Great location, for Howarth. Has everything you need. Would deffinatley recommend x - Spotlessly clean, great welcome pack. Watched a movie and ate the popcorn😀. Lovely and warm. Beds very comfortable. Pubs very close ( we had two visits) Locals very friendly. Dogs loved it and they were allowed in the pubs xx Coming home
- Kelly (10/5): Great house great location - The home was warm and comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed also in a great location. N/A
- Peter (8/5): Shame about the locked door - Location, facilities, hot tub and games room Owner E mailed us the wrong code for the door. Couldn't get hold of him as he was on holiday and agency couldn't help either. Struggled for an hour phoning, then some how I worked the code out. Lucky.
- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect break with friends and the fantastic accommodation made our weekend. - Absolutely fabulous house and in a perfect location. All decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed our stay, hot tub is a lovely extra. Welcome treats from the host was a lovely surprise. We would definitely stay again. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Uma (9/5): Loved our 3 days exploring Bronte country. Coming home was a pleasure. - We wanted 4 bedrooms - one for each of us- this property had that and MORE. Lovely welcome pack of local biscuits and a bottle of bubble. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. We spent most of our time in the well equipped kitchen cum living room. Loved the games room in the basement - bring your own darts for a better time.
There is everything you need a few minutes away - Coop - Spar - restaurants and cafes. The walk to the High St and Bronte Parsonage is also lovely. Not much - have made a few small suggestions to the owner directly and no doubt he will act on them.
We were lucky to get a parking space just outside for our car.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lj (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely amazing stay, the house is beautiful and exactly like the photos! The hot tub, games room, cinema room, communal/social kitchen space- we couldn't fault anything!! Having to go home!
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Peaceful in evenings. Great house. Lovely stay. - The movie room. The showers. The games room. All of it!! Nothing.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Property was well equipped, well laid out & verry ckean. There was nothing we needed that was missing. The house ticked all the boxes for 4 adults & 4 teenage boys. Neighbours were very friendly & went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There was nothing not to like.. great property, helpful owners, great neighbours, and a lovely town. Everything we needed was within walking distance
- Liane (10/5): Great family weekend in a great high spec house with luxury amenities in a great central location - Our stay has been amazing, the owners have created a beautiful holiday home to suit all ages from grandparents to young children. It has enabled us to have some great family time together, especially in the games and cinema rooms. The location, standard of interior and amenities are brilliant. Great idea for grandparents having bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor.
To watch the steam trains from your window is a definite added benefit. We liked everything
- Eleanor (8/5): A great weekend for couples and / or family alike in a central location for the town and railway. Enjoyable for a f - Beautifully presented and clean property which was very suitable for our weekend. The games and cinema room were an added benefit but we didn’t use much. Great kitchen for cooking and comfortable beds. Black out blinds would be helpful and some small suggestions made to make the kitchen more comfortable for eating.
