Guest Reviews
- Erik (3/5): - Locatie Geur, bedden, handdoeken, badkamerspullen, alles afgetrapt, het gebouw en de hygiëne
- Debbie (8/5): -
- Jeneffer (10/5): Lovely place!!! Recommend!!! -
- MATTYAS (1/5): - the place was very very dirty....there were no bed linens...it smelled terribly of cigarettes....we had to wait for the cleaning lady who came late at night to bring us bed linens so we could sleep even though they were very tired after a day and night of traveling.....the owner was not very nice....there were condom remnants in the rooms....

- Joseph (10/5): -
- Ann (3/5): - Great location Apartment was very cold especially the kitchen. Very dated rubber of shower door. New windows and an over hall of this apartment would bring it up to high standard.
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): Excellent location to explore - Excellent location, big spacious apartment Maybe a printed page with details on how to work heating might be helpful. Looks a little tired in some places, bathroom, bedroom furniture.
- Lauren (10/5): -
- Louise (10/5): Good value for money - The location is excellent and such good value for money - lots of space and great heat and facilities
- Mooney (10/5): -

- Erika Derbyshire (5/5): - The location in Derry, the price as well as the ability to communicate with the owner initially was very positive. The apartment was close to pubs and a small nearby enclosed shopping center that had a Tesco store. I sent the owner a private message with respect to my concerns with the apartment, and I was waiting for a reply before posting this review. He did not respond to me. The listing did not reflect what I found. The pictures of the living room and kitchen were old ones. The kitchen was actually updated, but the living room had odd 1980s furniture in it with no rugs, no desk. There was no pull out bed or drying rack. I finally found the hairdryer in a hall utility closet. The bathroom trash cans were rusted and broken. As others had found, there was a pervasive smell of smoke as well as cooking oil smell from the restaurant below. There was a back view of commercial trash cans with the associated noise. There really isn't a balcony. There are only French doors with a railing to prevent you from falling out. If you look out to the left, you can see the river. Parking is on the street or in the pricey car park by the Tesco store. I should have taken note of previous reviews, but the rental cost was too tempting.
- Nicola (9/5): - The apartment was spacious and well equipped, clean, comfortable, and in a good location. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but a little tired in places, bathroom grout for example, chips in woodwork, sticking doors.
The kitchen was well equipped, but a microwave would be handy.
The photo of the location on Google maps, shows the wrong entrance door. This photo almost put me off booking, as it looked a bit grotty, and turned out to be accommodation for asylum seekers.

- Eileen Carville (10/5): - Location was great .Apartment clean .View spectacular. Nothing
- Cath (5/5): -
- Gary (10/5): We were attending a family gathering in Derry and this apartment was perfect for it. - Location was great for everything we needed. Walking distance for local shops bars historical places of interest. Can’t fault anything
- Avril (10/5): -
- Sara (6/5): Convenient location with modest facilities - Location great Noisy cold and not very clean

- Zach (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerrie (8/5): Very good - Comfortable beds , and immaculate clean kitchen & ensuite and bathroom .heating in apartment was brillant , was on the whole stay ,( day & night ) .and wee stayed on it at winter time end of Feb . Needs a decor revamp in livingroom .& Bedroom walls and hall .
Like more pictures should be hung on walls .
- Mark (8/5): Dog friendly in Derry centre. - Perfect location for the city centre and dog friendly too. Once it warmed up was quite cosy. The apartment was a bit "tired" and grubby, also smelled of cigarette smoke. We had to wash everything we needed to use in the kitchen as glasses and plates were dirty and utensils were sticky and dirty.
- Jack (8/5): Very good - Great 2 bedroom apartment, central location a 1 min walk to Quayside shopping center and short walking distance to other shopping locations and landmarks. Spacious rooms and comfy beds Only issue we had was the heating. Error message on the boiler stating it wasn't lighting so no heating or hot water for the first night. Micheal came by the next morning to fix though and all was good for the rest of the stay
- Elaine (5/5): Passable -
- Colin (8/5): Good location. - 1. Need to bring all useable, including washing detergent.
2. Instructions for heating system would have been welcomed.
3. Would have loved a coffee machine.
- Kirsty (9/5): Great central apartment - Lovely clean, comfortable apartment in great location, great communication from host, can't complain at all!
- Eileen (9/5): Superb -
- Bryan (7/5): Good - Entrance and lift area were very untidy and dirty
- Ellen (7/5): Good - Great location, nice manager, very helpful with parking etc
- Kaitlyn (1/5): the stay was overall dirty and frustrating - the location was central 1. apartment smelled like cigarettes
2. washing machine flooded the kitchen and the property manager did not respond to texts and calls for spare towels/assistance
3. overall very dirty. there were crumbs and hair in the sheets, floors and counters were filthy
4. parking was difficult
- Trisha (9/5): Superb -
- Sean (7/5): Good apartment just needs a freshen up - Great location for everything we wanted to do walking distance for food n drink. Lovely view of the river When we arrived the place hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests but host got it sorted. Place looks a bit tired and could do with a freshen up.
- Lesley (6/5): OK - Communication difficult didn’t answer phone Apartment was not cleaned, excuse was he wasn’t expecting us that day
- Maeve (4/5): Disappointing - Location The apartment needs refurbishing. Very old style and felt grubby even though it was fairly clean. It stated that there was a balcony but what they called a balcony was double doors that opened but you couldn't step out on a balcony. Should not be advertising a balcony when there isn't one.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (7/5): Good - Great location, convenient for getting to the shops and around the town. Clean accomidation and spacious. First floor easy to use stairs or lift. One of the mattresses was very uncomfortable the master bedroom was fine. The oven temperature is broken and didn't heat to a high temperature. Smell of stale smoke in the sitting room.
- J (6/5): Great location for eveything. - Location was great. Better direction information would have helped. Had problems gaining entrance to the property as problems with the entrance door. A resident in the building said they would let building manager know.
Some additional touches which would not cost a lot of money but make a difference to the look and feel of the property would be good. Door hooks in bathroom/bedroom. Wooden clothes hangars throughout. The hangers varied in size and materials and the overall impression was uncared for/cheap. Either add more cushions or remove the single cushion! A tea towel would have been nice as well as some tea and coffee. Microwave usable given the position.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): It could be so much better! - The flat was well located, just a short walk from shops, pubs, restaurants and the many delights of central Derry. It was spacious, particularly in the living room. The immediate surroundings of the flat were, to the rear, a courtyard area with parked cars and many rubbish bins, serving the flats and the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor. In front was a busy side street with a taxi rank and a food delivery service. There was no welcome pack, no information on how to work the heating (it was cold and rainy during our stay) or any sense of personal service.
- Duncan (8/5): Very good - Close to town centre and nightlife No instructions on how to operate heating or tv
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - I have fo say that we had a very pleasurable experience . Facilities and practicality were on point ... would definitely be going back to Derry and would be returning to these apartments. Location was excellent.
- Romit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Madar (10/5): Convenient location - Easy communication with the host .The apartment was in a great central location. The place was cosy and warm.
I would recommend !
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Location and general area accommodation was really good secure quiet will recommend to friends if I have permission thanks
- Pauline (5/5): Passable - Location was excellent within walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and cinema Accommodation tired and could do with some tlc. Living area very stark with large, old, broken leather settee.
Dirty windows throughout the apartment and broken window in kitchen and living area.
Kitchen, didn't use the facilities so can't comment.
En-suite bedroom, mattress needs replaced. You can visually see the issue before even lying on the bed. Only one bedside table and extremely noisy extractor fan. Nowhere to hang towels.
Back bedroom, lots of outside noise from local businesses (backs onto the bin alleyway). Mismatched furniture and again only one bedside cabinet. No mirror to dry hair or put on makeup and only one set of plugs.
Main bathroom could do with a mat in the bath. Very slippy when in the shower.
The very worst thing about our stay was the horrendous smell of smoke. The cleaner, who is a smoker herself, could even smell it. We've arrived home with our coats etc smelling of smoke. Not acceptable!!
Al in all this apartment could be made much more comfortable and appealing if some time and a little money is spent on it.
- Stephen (5/5): Location is the best part - The location was very good. Close enough to walk into the center. It is very easy to find
Entry into the property was easy. We parked at the back of the property, which was handy. Nit sure if we were allowed because the owner never replied on Friday when asking about it.
Communication before Friday was great. We were able to arrange a late checkout with ease.
The heating and hot water worked perfectly, and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was far from clean and really let the place down.
The living room smelt of smoke. The window in living had a crack in it.
The balcony door closed but didn't lock.
The furniture was rather old and very well used. Apart from the table and chairs.
The shower over the bath leaked onto the floor. Which didn't cause a problem other than the floor getting wet.
The kitchen counters had crumbs for the previous people. Meaning it probably wasn't cleaned.
The worst part was the 2nd bedroom.
We found hairs on the bed sheets. We had to remove the sheet and shake it outside, then replace it inside out.
There was a pair of someone elses worn socks left on the shelf of the bedside cabinet.
Allow this never affected our stay it was very disappointing that the place hadn't been cleaned properly.
I had messaged the owner on Friday about parking at the back of the building, to which I am still waiting for a reply.
I would have discussed these things with the owner had they replied because we understand some things happen for a reason.

- Gayle (8/5): Convenient to city. - We found the apartment very convenient and comfortable. No hanging place for towels. Toilet very close to sink in ensuite making it uncomfortable.

- Mary (2/5): Would not recommend to anyone -
- Damian (8/5): Very good -
- Carmel (4/5): Disappointing - Location Dust in air filters double bed needs a mattress booster.
- Macnab (3/5): Poor -
- Nora (8/5): comfortable, clean well equipped apartment , central to all amenities will definitely be back - Could have had some extra bed sheets available, felt a little cold at night ..also larger bath sheet /towels wld be nice .
- Carol (2/5): Not worth the money. Less than half the price would be fairer - Codes were wrong. Took a long time to receive help and get in. Dirty
Poor heating
‘Balcony’ was 8” wide
No instructions for 2 tv remotes
Dirty cupboards and microwave
Lift didn’t work properly
- Nolan (10/5): Well happy. -

- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Location was very convenient. coudnt beat it. We got parked on site.We had plenty of space with the 2 bedrooms n 2 bathrooms. We were beside restaurants n bars. Good facilities like hair dryer / kitchen well equipped for stay. Unfortunately we couldn't get the TV to work .would have liked few extras like Bath mats n bigger bath towels.Balcony door doesn't lock n kept opening. It was v noisy sat night on street expected I suppose due to location.
- Lorna (8/5): Great location. - great location and clean, handy for all you want to see and so in Derry. could maybe do with an update, some grout needs attention and the internal doors could do with a paint.
- Gloria (6/5): Pleasant and spacious flat near the river .Eateries and big Tesco's 2 mins walk . - Spacious apartment ,no noise from other apartments .Heating efficient and we were warm as toast .Beds were very very comfortable ,great pillows . The apartment needs a little TLC and needs a bit of freshening up with a lick of paint .The decor is a bit spartan and uninviting .A rug in the lounge and a bathmat would soften the edges.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional - It was close to everything
- Nicole (1/5): Brothel Prostitution in operation - Location Prostitution/Brothel in operation on the building. neighbour thought we were prostitutes and threaten us with a big Rotweller saying that we weren’t welcome in the building. we called the police and we going to court with them.
Broken window. Dirty old Pillows

- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nancy (9/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient - Excellent central location. Very clean, comfortable apartment. Although on-site parking was limited and 'first come first served', we were generally lucky. Otherwise there is a very reasonable car park just behind the building. A little noisy on Saturday night, as would be the case for any city centre location.
