Guest Reviews
- Janette (1/5): We had reservations for a month got to the property and didn’t end up staying so we had to drive an hour out of our way - Sadly we didn’t like anything about the property.
The front office person was nice, and understandable, of our concerns. we didn’t end up staying after going to our room. It was unacceptable. It was dirty, mattresses were dirty under the sheets, floor wasn’t swept or mopped, a lot of area(s) in the room needed fixed. We found a certain kind of bug, one you never want to find in a hotel, it was dead by the door but I’m guessing there were more around. The location was scary it’s not a place for a family to stay. Definitely a traveling worker type place.
- John (1/5): You know in horror movies where they have a motel where people are murdered - this is the place. - Good location. Front desk guy, though wearing only boxers, was very friendly. Everything.
- Stephanie (1/5): -
- Otto (1/5): Dirty, uncomfortable, and rude—never staying here again. - This place was a nightmare. The floors were so filthy that our feet turned black after showering—absolutely disgusting. The beds were like sleeping on concrete, and to top it off, the staff was rude and completely uninterested in helping with anything. I don’t know how this place is still in business. Never again.
- Byrd (4/5): -
- Dwight (6/5): Adequate for single night stay. - Nothing special, just adequate. TV didn’t work. No place to hang clothes. Bathroom door could not be closed. Entrance door frame was so damaged was not really secure when closed and locked???
- Andy (1/5): -
- Mora (1/5): Deplorable - Nada .pésimo lugar Las camas
- Riggles (4/5): -
- Michael (5/5): -
- Sabrina (6/5): Preis Leistung ok für eine Nacht - Auto vor dem Zimmer Das Bad war schmuddelig, aber gute Dusche
- Melissa (2/5): -
- Chelsey (1/5): Spend the extra money go somewhere else. - The bed was soft. ONLY GOOD THING First when we got there it was 10pm. I know it was late but we had also let them know and the late check in was approved so they knew ahead of time, he came out in nothing but boxers scratching his junk to check us in. Get a robe sir. Also the rooms was FILTHY the floor prob never been swept or mopped sense the day it opened. Anything white was stained and covered in burn holes, hotel towels brown and cannot be cleaned correctly, everything is out dated, no battery in the smoke alarm, and janky main door with a giant gap into the outside while the door is shut. Def feel like you will leave there with a disease.
- Stacey (3/5): Poor -
- Nicole (4/5): Comfortable bed, bad smell of cigarettes - The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and had a loud electrical humming sound. There were cigarette burns in the blankets.
- Anne-marie (1/5): We checked in, took a look, and literally left to get a room across the street. Spent 3 minutes w a non refundable stay - Nothing. Filthy Dirty.
Stinky.
Run down.
Decrepit.
- Raley (5/5): It was sufficient enough to provide a decent place to sleep at night. - It was cheap. It is a low quality hotel where most of the residents seem like they live there.
- Danni66411 (4/5): Disappointing - The bed was comfortable and the location was good. It was disgusting! I had to scrub the toilet before I could even use it 🤮
- April (3/5): If you are poor and just need somewhere to sleep I don't think you would die doing so here. - The beds were comfortable and the sheets at least looked and smelled clean. There was a large TV in our "suite" There were bits of trash and biological matter on the window sills such as used dental floss/picks, reserved a one bed room got a two single bed instead, there was no soap, shampoo, etc available in the room to use to shower with. The gentleman at the front desk was curt and somewhat rude.
- Stephanie (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything my tv would not work at all
- Benedict (3/5): Poor -
- Dylan (1/5): Bad -

- Madelena (1/5): Don’t stay here!! - Nothing- terrible terrible place This is a review not only on the crappy hotel we stayed in Hotel Eastin and the Atchison Police Department. I’ve stayed in this town once before when my son moved here last year to attend college at Benedictine (at a different hotel) and again this time around. Still not too familiar with the town- we booked this hotel (Hotel Eastin) due to the price and it was on Priceline- which I do most of my travel booking and it’s always been a reliable source. Upon arriving I was greeted by a not so friendly middle eastern man that handed me a key to my room next to obvious people that used this hotel as a residence and lived here. From that point forward it was nothing but domestic violence, children screaming. When we called the cops we explained we could hear a woman screaming and a child in there crying, 3 squad cars showed up- only to do what we had been doing…..and listened to the occupants screaming and crying. They did that for about 15-20 mins, never knocking on the door or intervening at all, then leaving. As a concerned mother, it is very unsettling that this is how the police protect this city with my son living down the street in his dorm. Do not stay here at this hotel, I advise all travel booking places to not advertise this place, and certainly hope you never need the police for anything here. Aside from that - the hotel it self was dirty, my socks turned black from walking on the floor, mildew in the tubs, holes in the walls. I’m a social worker for the homeless in Denver, and I can certainly tell you- I felt like I was at work at one of the hotel shelters being at this hotel.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cody (1/5): Bad -
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
- Jeff (4/5): I almost slept in my car after entering my hotel room... - The location worked for me Sheets were dirty or stained to the point where you'd wear cloths to bed, The furniture is made of painted plywood like something you'd use for a workbench in your garage. I'm just trying to be honest here, but I can't say I would recommend this hotel unless you are desperate and your car seats are too uncomfortable.
- Stephanie (1/5): Bad - Location My tv dident work the water pressure sucked
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Williams (4/5): Disappointing -
- Stephanie (1/5): Sucked - Location Couldent take a bath leaked in. The room downstairs
- Mary (1/5): traumatic - nothing soiled towels, mold, strong chemical smell, over all feeling of UNSAFE
- Alan (1/5): Dirty - Floors had not been cleaned. If you walked on them bare foot, than the bottoms of your feet were black with filth. The bedspread had burn holes. Broken down end stand. Filthy floors...
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - It was in walking to everything I had a room on the 1st floor but I had to park 6 parking spaces down from my room.
- Dina (3/5): Not again - Price The floor was absolutely dirty. My socks turned black within an hour of walking around the room.the bathroom was semi functional as the toilet would move away from the wall when you sat on it.
- Charles (1/5): I did not stay. I left without refund of my monies and paid to stay at the Holiday Inn, KC Airport. - Nothing, this motel should not be listed on your web site. It is awful; absolutely horrible. I checked in & paid for the room up front. Went to the room, skeptical of what to expect based upon the exterior appearance. I was freaked out by the prospect of having to sleep in the room that night. I went to dinner, determined I was not going to stay and made arrangements to stay at the Holiday Inn KC Airport that night. I went back to the motel to get my bag and asked for a refund. I was refused a refund. I will pursue a reversal of the charges from my credit card company. I would appreciate any support that booking.com can provide.
If I wanted to stay at the Breaking Bad Motel with Jesse Pinkman and prostitute Wendy, this motel should be listed as such and appropriate clientele can select to book there on your site. Otherwise, I suggest you raise the bar for those you make your site available to for on-line bookings. Horrible!
- Lavena (5/5): Passable - It was quiet People was sitting in there car at 10:30-11 pm when we got there and when we got up the next morning there was a guy laying on the balcony floor when we left it was kinda creepy
- Jennifer (1/5): Awful - It was so bad and unsafe that we couldn't stay. The female employee was nice. It was unclean, there were holes in the walls, the toilet wasn't bolted down, the hotel was unsafe, the male employee was extremely rude and mean. There were also people doing drugs in the parking lot.
- Anonymous (1/5): Smelt like pee - Nothing It was gross dirty beds dirty sheets room smelt like pee
- Steven (1/5): Bad - Dump Gttt
- Joshua (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything
- Dina (3/5): Not the best, wouldn't stay again - The beds were comfortable and location was right by restaurants and downtown. The rooms were clean, wooden floors just felt dusty. The ac was very cold. It was decent for a rest but I wouldn't stay again The rooms look noting like the photos. They have brown towels with bleach stains & only provided one hand towel one wash rag and 2 standard towels, the room only had one trash can, there was a door to another room (it was locked and nailed shut but still creepy) the door and wall looked like it had water damage and mold was starting to form. No coffee maker in the room only microwave and a dingy fridge. In the lobby they had a cooler with refreshments and chips however it was $1 each and they were the small cans & bags 😒 the shower faucet was loose from the wall and we did not try turning it on.
- Joseph (1/5): Bad - Nothing Needs torn down
- Jacen (2/5): Very poor -
- Roger (1/5): Wished I hadn't stayed there, - No place to hang clothes. No phone. Lots of problems; e.g., no way to use tub since no stopper.
No breakfast. Lau was hard to understand!
- Suzanne (10/5): Clean. Affordable. Friendly. - This is a nice little Motel. Extremely clean and freshly painted.Price was on point and gave us an affordable option.
Beds were comfortable and clean. Inn keeper was nice and staff was all attentive. Near tue college and downtown.
- Janet (4/5): Underwhelming considering the costs. - Location is good, parking lot is large. Hotel is run down and minimalist at best. It is obvious that the money earned from the stays is not put back into the business. Rooms could definately use a good clean and update.
- Roger (2/5): room next to me had two cats and a dog put their garbage outside the door and it stayed there - Absolutely nothing Absolutely nothing
- Charles (1/5): Bad -
- Danielle (5/5): Perfect for a midnight check in and a 5 am check out - We got there in the middle of the night and the lovely woman who checked us in was friendly and fast. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned. There was hair and dirt all over the bathroom floor and in the tub. The sleeping area had dirt all over the walls and there were a few holes in the walls where somebody had gone through it.
- Brittany (4/5): Disappointing - It was okay for 1 night since we weren't in there much. People live there but I'm sure that's the majority of their business in that small town. Patched holes everywhere, smelled like cigarettes inside the room, toilet wobbled so bad I thought I was going to fall back, needs to be cleaned professionally, ... seems like housekeeping doesn't exist or things are just done half @$3d. Fire housekeeping and/or actually hire someone that will clean a rented space properly. Take more pride in your establishment!
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Burton (1/5): Bad -
- Anonymous (1/5): it was horrible - nothing everything
- Blk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcanelly (2/5): Very poor - It looked nothing like the pictures. it was dirty.
- Anonymous (9/5): if looking for the basics at a very reasonable price, this is a good place to stay. - Didn’t need anything but the basics and they had it for a reasonable price. Nice staff. They have renovated this older hotel in a basic way. Clean. comfy bed. Handy, easy to find.
- Julianna (1/5): Horrible hotel and employees, dirty, unsafe - Location was good It was dirty, door locks were broken, bathrooms were worse than dirty, supposed clean towels smelled awful, there was an extension cord coming out of the ceiling and that was our plug in, walls had holes, beds had one pillow a piece and when I asked for more, I was told no. The list goes on, but my advice is, run. fast.
- Paul (4/5): Disappointing -
- Janet (1/5): we walked into the room, looked around and decided not to even bring our bags in while we went to our function. fortunat - nothing It was dingy and dirty . no way would I stay there.
- 64malibu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melinda (7/5): Good -
- Mandy (9/5): Superb - Nice staff No complaints.
- Adam (7/5): Relaxing, comfy, got the job done! - The room was exactly what you expect: clean, comfortable, and efficient. It didn’t have any extra frills, but it didn’t need to. It got the job done and let me have a nice sleep and a relaxing stay. The only thing that I wasn’t okay with was the light above my bed was broken. There was also yelling in the morning from my room neighbors but that isn’t the hotels fault.
- Aille (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joy (9/5): Great - No carpet and a comfortble bed for a change. Dirty windows..need liimeaway.
- Brent (1/5): We did not stay and went to a hotel across the street. - Location was fine, the proprietors were nice enough. General atmosphere felt like a prostitution/drug den. It smelled of cigarettes and cheap air freshener in what was ostensibly a no smoking room. The furniture was largely unfinished wood and the bathroom had stains. I could hear children through the walls from a floor up and two rooms over. They charged me for the night I didn’t stay. We were in the room all of ten minutes.
- Aille (10/5): Exceptional -
