• Kelly (9/5): Beautifully Decorated - The apartment is beautiful decorated with old style floors. The little garden area would be nice to sit on a sunny day and backed up to a park. Overall it was a quiet neighborhood, I even heard a Tawny Owl in the nearby wooded area. It was an easy walk into the downtown area for dinner. The bed was very comfortable, shower was hot with great pressure. Host was easy to communicate with and would have met us at the property if we had arrived earlier in the evening. Our only complaint was we had a difficult time finding the location. Google Maps was struggling to give the correct location.

• Caryn Abrahams Erasmus (9/5): Excellent getaway stay in the Trossachs - Loved this beautiful apartment. It was valentine's weekend so there were some extra special touches like tea cakes, rose petals and heart accessories. It was a gal pal weekend, but still was lovely, including the little touches like Scottish Highland themed blankets and decor, beautiful crockery and full kitchen utensils to cook our own dinner, including some kitchen staples. Loved the Highland feel and genuine wool throws and blankets. The owner was in contact from booking and allowed us some flexibility with early check in and late check out because of the train times. Videos about how to find and use the apartment and lockbox etc was appreciated, as were the recommendations. A party of four would enjoy this accommodation, with all the amenities, games and accessibility to Loch Lomond and the Trassachs walk.

• Alex (9/5): Large, bright, clean and very dog friendly flat. - The flat is a really good size and was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. It is great that it is right next to a large park as we were traveling with our dog. Louise is very attentive and made sure we had all the information we needed.

• Dougie (9/5): Alexandria stop over - Fantastic, homely apartment in a great location. We only stayed one night as heading further up to the north of Scotland. Perfect location for this with no hassles, just what we needed with delayed ferry and terrible stormy driving conditions. Special mention also to the amazing neighbours who help changed our flat tyre which we woke up to the next morning!!7 Nothing

Plenty space for everyone and is decorated beautifully. Great location close to the centre of Balloch and Alexandria, easy to get anywhere on foot and by car The host is lovely, friendly and helpful. She made sure throughout the stay that everything was alright and was always on hand for recommendations etc.

• Munich (10/5): Highly Recommended! - Wonderful accomodation, the apartment was very clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and a short walk to train station and Balloch. The host Louise was lovely and even gave us a lift to the train station. All four of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. We recommend highly (no pun intended) the West Highland Way it's incredible. For eating our favourite place was Annayas Indian- the staff are the best! 0

• Thomas (9/5): - Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Kommunikation mit Louise super. Toll ist auch, dass sich auf der anderen Straßenseite ein Supermarkt befindet. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Vielleicht nur, dass es etwas zugig war,weil die Fenster nicht ganz dicht waren.aber das war nicht wirklich ein Problem für uns

• Maaike (10/5): - Mooi compleet appartement. Zeer goede bedden (uitzonderlijk), heel hondvriendelijk, fijne ligging (met een kleine supermarkt op 10 m afstand, mét een Costa coffee corner). Eigenaresse Louise is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik kan dit verblijf aan echt iedereen aanraden. Niets!
• Isabelle (8/5): - Nous avons aimé ce charmant appartement, joliment décoré et confortable. La chambre parentale notamment est très agréable. L'emplacement, tout proche du Loch Lomond était parfait! Les conseils visites et restaurants de l’hôte sont aussi très pertinents. La cuisine manque un peu d’entretien. Le frigo était sale et sentait vraiment mauvais. La salle de bain, très petite, n’est pas facile à utiliser et le lavabo se bouche.

• Ben (10/5): Perfect accommodation perfect host - Very comfortable apartment very clean and warm, had everything we needed plus more !! Louise was very thoughtful and went the extra mile for my brothers birthday, very responsive to messages and questions we had about the area, would deffo stay here again and would recommend this place/ service to anyone. Perfect location, beds wor comfy had a great nights sleep. Only part was the shop over the road alarm went off for a good while same time 2 nights in a row, must be when there locking up… how ever this wasn’t a major problem and didn’t affect us and it’s not in Louise’s control either, but being honest for the review this is the only thing that could say.

Near train station, too. Small grocery across the street. Charming decor and fun Scotland books available for a quick read. Street parking is free and easy, too.

• Cornelia (9/5): A lovely apartment at a perfect location - A charming spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Close to restaurants and a little supermarket across the street. Our host was very kind and helpful when we needed something and gave many useful tips. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We would stay there again! The right house was a bit hard to find because there are no housenumbers, but our host would adjust the description for future guests. A sign would be helpful too. There was a problem with the boiler and the water pressure which I'm sure is fixed now but showering was an issue for us those two days. Just bad luck for us.

• Vivian (8/5): Great! - Absolutely wonderful stay and we couldn't have asked for more! Louise made every effort to make sure our stay was as luxurious as it could be - flat is in a top location, few minutes walk from the centre of town and train station. Very safe and quiet neighbourhood, and guess what? mini supermarket right outside the flat - literally across the road! super convenient as we actually run out of milk.lol and the views?! Wow, flat is under a valley so you get a mountain view with your breakfast and your walk to the station! 100% recommend this place! Its a semi- wooden flat with wood flooring and people staying downstairs - so expect some creaking but its to be expected I suppose? a little noisy but it didn't affect our stay to be fair, its easy to get used to it but its good to know before you get there. There is also the boiler..lol :D It's quite loud when the heating is on and there were some vibrations which was really loud and that did affect our ambience some moments.Also I think its because of the wooden structure perhaps, but once again, good to know.
• Marellac (9/5): Charming, warm and inviting, in great location. - Very accommodating hostess, lots of kind, helpful and thoughtful additions to stay including bottled water and delicious home made fudge. The flat has a lovely rustic charm. It is roomy and warm,and the bed we slept in was comfortable. There was a water bowl for our dog, and I am sure Louise would have provided a dog bed, had we not informed her we always bring his prescription bed with us. Everything you could need is provided in the little kitchen. There is a small set of internal steps inside, we simply barricaded by placing the ironing board on its side, to stop our blind dog going for a tumble. It was lovely and quiet, no noise at all either from neighbours, or from people who frequented the supermarket, during our 2 day stay. Easy access to the flat by a single sturdy flight of covered steps. We walked the dog in the rear garden or the lovely park behind the flat.Parking immediately outside the property on the street was easy. Thanks Louise, we look forward to our next visit. I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time!

• Lucy (7/5): It's ok if you don't have pets not suitable if you're disabled - I think the only thing that we liked was how clean the apartment was and that there was everything we needed for the stay helpful owner The poor thing about staying here is you are parking nowhere nearby says street parking but it's not always available where you are staying there's a huge flight of steps up to the apartment so not good if you're disabled and the whole place is wooden flooring so certainly not suitable for dogs at all plus there's no garden she states that there's a garden and it's been done in September it's now October and there's no garden so nowhere to take your dogs to do their business which isn't suitable at all also there's a Morrisons local right outside the window so from about 9:00 at night you have local yobs outside keeping you up there's also a very inappropriate neighbour that will play music at 6:00 a.m.

The owner was very friendly and helped us out with the heating. All in all a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Nothing :)

I travelled myself with 2 children and found the apartment to be a proper little home from home. Location was perfect. Our host was very helpful. • Michelle (9/5): Lovely apartment and good location - It is a lovely apartment ideally located for Balloch and Loch Lomond. Lots of shops and eateries nearby including a convenience store across the road. It has everything that you'd need for a stay away from home and was very clean. Plenty of parking outside on the residential road. I loved the welcome basket - best I've had: wine, gin, Tunnock tea cakes and shortbread. The host, Louise was fabulous. Very welcoming both in her communication before we arrived and upon arrival at the property. She sorted out the couple of issues we raised extremely promptly. We all loved our stay and can recommend this apartment. Nothing to dislike.

We loved it so much we have b - Exceptionally clean and comfortable and an excellent location. The kitchen is super organised with an assortment of cutlery, pots and pans etc so excellent for being able to eat in. Beds super comfy, lovely and cosy. Everything was awesome! Nothing that we didnt love.

The host was so helpful, giving us advice on things to do and places to go. Beds were very comfy and the apartment very well equipped with lots of towels. We loved it! Nothing
• Fraser (3/5): Poor - It was clean there was junkies hanging out across the road from the house at the Morrisons all night which you have to negotiate with just to get into the shop. They also patrolled up and down the street looking in cars to the point we took all our fishing gear out the car as we didn't find it safe , we left a day earlier than we were meant to, due to the area definitely not a relaxing area especially when there with family , at the back of the house there's a massive football park which we weren't told about either so we had guys screaming and shouting out the back till late on and junkies out the front definitely won't be back and when I told the host we had left early she didn't even ask why!! £300 and odds ?? Definitely not worth the money at all I've stayed in better for cheaper

The apartment was located in a quiet neighbourhood with a small grocery shop at the opposite side. It is within walking distance to most of the nearby area of interests. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, free parking was easy at the street in front of the apartment. Nothing. All was good.

Apartment was warm, very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Nice chocolates and some provisions when we arrived. Would highly recommend. No complaints, a very nice stay
• Rick (8/5): Very nice stay in a wonderful location with a fantastic host - The host was great. She met us on site on arrival and showed us around the house and the changes that were being made. Asked what she could do to make us more comfortable and had some beautiful food on arrival. The rooms were still being done up in some areas but that didnt detract from our stay. We didnt stay long enough to make full use of the location

The apartment was tastefully done up, bathroom was newly renovated, bedroom was spacious. Travel resources in the living room were helpful. We were very lucky that we were one of the first guests to stay there after the renovation. A supermarket is just opposite the apartment which is very convenient. Loch Lomond and the surrounding area is easily reached by car and offers stunning views and amazing hiking trails. If this couldn't get any better, the weekend we were there, we were welcomed with majestic aurora borealis display!
