Guest Reviews

- Maisie (9/5): A really good, comfy, central stay. - It was a really good location right in the centre of the historic part, really cool property and comfy beds. The host was also really nice and gave us loads of recommendations! Would recommend There were a few issues but sorted them quickly with the host. Like the toilet you had to quickly press which we didn't know!
- Annzan (8/5): - Läget mitt i gamla stan, trevlig värd allt fungerade bra. Trapporna för oss som är lite äldre.
- Steven (8/5): -
- Chiapponi (8/5): gentili - l’host e la posizione la pulizia
- Harvey (8/5): Nice facilities and a great location with very helpful staff - Location, ease of access, kitchen facilities and nice balcony Double bed was two singles that kept splitting apart
- Fergus (9/5): - Wonderful location in centre of historic Naples, very close to many attractions. Easy and clear communication with staff at guest house. Our room was clearly designed well by an architect and was very calming and reflected Naples well. The balcony overlooks a quiet (ish) street. Nearby taxi ranks a five minute walk. Good kitchen for self bought breakfasts. Good supermarket very close.
- Tatjana (9/5): I liked it and would come back next time. I hope to return asap - Location in the old centre, romantic nartow stairs, terrace, nice plants, friendly staff, peacefull appartment, clean, spacious room... At night it was loud from outside- the noisy napolital streets, not to blame the accomodation for it. It could be charming. It was also hot and there was AC blowing right to the bed and I don't like that, but that's just me.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional - It was wonderful, good position for a lot of interesting places, right above the Roman theater, a place to visit together with the underground Naples, very close to walking distance, close to the train station, 20 min walk. The place is clean, a kitchen quite equipped to make breakfast, a very nice terrace, spacious rooms with individual bathroom and equipped with air conditioning, in a few words we were delighted with the accommodation.
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional -

- Benjamin (8/5): Very good -
- Srdjan (10/5): Cool and easy to access place - Excellent location
- Giulia (8/5): Very good -

- Daniele (9/5): Great location, nice flat - Great location, right in the old centre and few mt from via Tribunali. Metro not far. Clean and well furnished. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice common balcony. Friendly owner. The insulation is not the best and guests can be easily be bothered by simple steps (we did not bother but others did...)
- Ivana (10/5): Exceptional - Location, terrace
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good - location is very good
room size is very good and clean
place is safe
air condetion

- Josh (8/5): Very good -
- Umair (5/5): I wouldn’t stay here again. The only good thing about this place was its location. - The location is really nice. Right. in the picturesque old town square. The WiFi didn’t work at all. I contacted the staff about it so many times but they barely helped. They installed an extender to the WiFi which was of no use because the main WiFi didn’t work. To make the situation worse, there weren’t any mobile phone signals in the room so we couldn’t use our mobile data either. To use the mobile data we had to sit all the time in the terrace which was of course super hot cause of the temperature.
Moreover the shower tap was broken and was unnecessarily complicated to use. When I informed the staff about it they said “Yeah we know it is broken, just deal with it carefully”. They didn’t bother changing it what so ever.
- Dalitodo (10/5): Beautiful accommodation in the very heart of Naples. - Beautifully stylish accommodation with perfectly integrated details and all possible facilities with a beautiful terrace in the very heart of Napoli Centro Storico, just 2 minutes walking distance from Via del Tribunali, 10 minutes from Dante Square and Via Toledo. Although you are in the very heart of Naples and in the center of all the happenings in the streets around Spaccanapoli, it is tucked away so it is very peaceful and quiet without noise. I didn't like that we didn't have the option to leave our bags after check-out because our flight was at 10.30pm and check-out is at 10.00am.
- Jenna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zuzanna (7/5): Good - The location of this property is amazing. Everything important is practically around the corner. A wonderful base. The beds were comfortable for me. Rooms in a modern style. On the first day my room wasn't so clean. In my opinion, the rooms should be cleaned more often. We only had towels replaced once within 6 days. The bathroom smells a bit. The bathroom only has gel and shampoo, so I recommend taking other things with you.
- Martyna (9/5): Property with great location - Room was pretty and clean. We loved the balcony. Location of the property is amazing. WiFi was very slow, sometimes impossible to use. Kitchen can be only used for breakfast and nothing more. The shower head gave weak water pressure what made the showers uncomfortable.
- Preveza (8/5): Very good -
- Magdalena (7/5): Good -
- Memic (8/5): Very good -
- Rowena (8/5): Very good -
- Filip (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Style of the room was lovely. Great air-conditioning! Good communal facilities in the kitchen/dining area. Patio really lovely and relaxing - a little oasis in the heart of it all. Helpful host who responded immediately to communication and helped with directions and transport. Lots of steps! But that's to be expected in buildings in the historic centre 🙂
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lizeth (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Luke (8/5): Very good -
- Olli (6/5): Good value stay on a good location - Good location, good value for money Hard to reach the second floor, not for travellers with heavy luggage or mobility issues
- Jackie (5/5): Not the best, but not the worst stay - One of the best parts of our stay was the wonderful apartment manager who greeted us when we checked in, Stefania. She was very kind and provided many recommendations on what to do in Naples. The facilities themselves were ok. I absolutely loved the patio. The rooms were a bit small, but had a lot of charm. We had a really friendly family stay with us at the home and it was nice interacting with them in the communal kitchen area. We unfortunately had an issue with our shower. We had limited hot water and had very low water pressure, which was frustrating after a long day. We were able to get in contact with the host who then helped us by letting us use an alternate shower in the home and replacing the shower head the next day, which seemed to resolve the issue. The beds weren't the most comfortable. The bathroom itself always felt very humid. The home also has steep steps up to the unit, which I didn't mind, but is something to consider if you aren't able to go upstairs easily. I also had an issue where I was never able to connect to wifi, even with restarting the router two times.
- Maria (5/5): Ok, but NOT children friendly - The room was cozy enough and had the basics for the family (2 adults and 2 little children).
The owner was available through whatsapp at anytime I would NOT reccomend it to families with little children.
The room was not wonderfully clean.
The steep stairs were quite a challenge every time we got in and out.
The relationship with the owner is good, but there’s no point in asking anything that is not included in the agreement.
The walls are very thin and even if the children were calm and respectful we were aware of every sound, and it would have save us some stress to know that there was only another room with guests.
We had to provide for everything except the very basics.
- Krishna (8/5): Very good -
- Tomer (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (7/5): A lovely host and a great location for exploring the historic centre of Naples. A little basic but comfortable. - The communal terrace area and shared kitchen work very well. The bedroom floor wasn’t the cleanest - not overly keen on the style of loose lay rugs unless they’re spotlessly clean.
- Marianna (6/5): Pleasant - Location and price Facilities
- Emanuele (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- JH_Bln (2/5): Ruined our holidays!! - 7 days before our holidays started the owners texted us that we couldn't come because of 'technical problems' in the flat. That was only the first disappointment. They asked us if we would relocate to another of their B & B's (Cerasiello) but would have had to pay the old price (112 €/night) although the other B & B was offered at booking.com for 64 € / night in that same period of time, that is € 45/night more than usual (we planed to stay 8 nights). Asked about that they refused to reduce the price making us feel unwelcome at all. After a few hours in which we tried to sort out conditions with booking.com we received an mail that the owners had "cancelled" out stay at all. In effect, they ruined our trip to Naples which we had planed for 6 months.
- 797lisam797 (10/5): Fantastic B&B in the Centre of Historic Naples - Stayed here for two nights with a friend. We both had a room each and could not fault the place and the help we had when we arrived from Luigi. The rooms were a lovely size, simply furnished and the most comfortable beds I think we have ever had on our travels (of which there have been many!).
Self service breakfast and super coffee made in the coffee maker - fresh fruit, eggs, bread, cereals and breads, jams etc. It is right in the center of the Historical part of Naples and easy walking to reach all the sites.
There was just one downside, not the owners fault at all - but there were some Italian people staying who used the kitchen and almost all the breakfast bread and eggs for their evening meal on our second night 😏 so there was hardly anything left for breakfast. It does say please only use food for breakfast but they are more than happy for you to buy food and take it back and eat it in the evening or for lunch.
On our day of leaving we were even allowed to have the use of the B&B all day until we left at 5pm as long as we had moved our stuff out of the room and stored it under the stairs by 10am.
If you are going to Naples and need a B&B definitely stay here you won’t regret it 😁
- KatieP3031 (10/5): Great spot in historic Naples - Very happy to have booked casa Latina. The best location and a sanctuary from the lively streets of the old city. Very helpful service even though they are not on site. Don’t come if you like to have your breakfast made for you. We didn’t mind having to self serve and in fact opted instead to dine at the local (and cheap) bakeries down the road. Rooms are spotless, modern, airy and restful. We loved it here and would come back any time.
- mammamammon2 (10/5): Casa - Just arrived back in the UK after 4 nights in Naples. This B&B is ideally located to explore the old town. Situated right in the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood it is a home from home.
Spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Unusually the B&B is self service as the owners are not on site. Good selection of tea, coffee, fresh fruits, yoghurt, breads and spreads available to help yourselves. Even during the day.
Found the place easily enough and texted the staff as instructed and Luigi was there to meet us on arrival. Charming and helpful he even arranged a taxi for the day we left.
We had poor weather for our short trip so I’d like to see Naples in the sun. I hope we’ll be able to get a room in the Casa Latina if we do.
- thefish1974tb (10/5): Dream Oasis - On a whim, I planned a last-minute trip to Naples and was a little nervous about being a single woman alone in the city. But the second I walked through the doors of Casa Latina, I felt immediately comfortable. The owner has exquisite taste and the room felt like a boutique hotel with a beautiful terrace and kitchen stocked with breakfast fixings. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to beat the jet lag. It really feels like you have your own apartment in the dead center of the city—an oasis to return to after taking advantage of all the beauty and character Napoli has to offer. I never even ran into another guest during my four-day stay. I never take the time to write reviews, but I really can’t recommend this place enough!
- Caroline2502 (10/5): Perfect place - We had a great stay at Casa Latina. Yes a small sign on the door would help locate the place a little more easily but the host had requested prior notification of our approximate arrival time so he could be there to meet us.
The B and B is in an excellent location, a 10 minute walk to the station and great for exploring both Naples historic centre and the new town.
Our room on the top floor was perfect and the kitchen was well equipped with breakfast supplies.
- cocor317 (8/5): Nice Guesthouse - This is a nice guesthouse on a tiny side street just up from the main tourist drag in the historic part of Naples, though it is about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station so I recommend using a taxi to get here. The proprietors do not live on site so you need to let them know when you will be arriving so they can let you in--and you won't really see them after that. It can get a bit noisy during the day but it quiets down at night. The rooms are very modern and tastefully decorated, as well as surprisingly spacious. There is also a lovely balcony overlooking the street, where it's nice to sip a glass of wine and people watch. Calling it a B&B is a bit of a stretch, though, as it's little more than cereal, toast, and hardboiled eggs--it's really more of a self-catering place. If you want to be in the historical center, this is a good choice for a good price.
- PattiMaine (8/5): In the center of everything at a reasonable price! - Easy walk to the Archeological Museum, around the corner from Naples Underground, yet a reasonable price.
Pro:
Location
Small but functional shared kitchen with stove and fridge
Deck overlooking the alley that passes for a street here
Con: owner not present- they meet you there with a key and a map and that's it- on your own. But this might be a plus!
"Breakfast " provided is cornflakes, juice, teabags, raw eggs, and some cookies.
Walls and floors thin enough so the people in the upstairs room with kids sound like they might fall through. I'm not the sort to care- I go to sleep no matter what. But if you are, this might be an issue.
Many stairs to climb to the door. Just s warning. Not that bad- especially compared to Positano!
- y0urm (4/5): Worst check in - Great location BUT....this place has no sign. We walked by it several times thinking we had wrong address. But the locals assured us we had correct place. We knocked and rang door bell several times over the course of an hour. No answer! It was dark, cold and we were tired. So frustrating. We decided to sit at restaurant down the street. The waitress told us the same thing happens to many people. She kept calling the B&B on our behalf since we had no phone. Finally, two hours later the hotel staff brought us keys to the restaurant. Staff said he sent me a text, which would be great IF I had a phone. I'm visiting from USA and my phone doesn't work in Europe. This place needs a better communication system. Maybe put a sign on the door with instructions. Room is nice but the walls/ceilings very thin. There is a family living upstairs with young children. I can hear the kids running around, not to mention their temper tantrums. So forget about sleeping in. There is no housekeeping unless you stay more than three nights. No new towels if u need them. And nobody taking out trash and making bed.
- 133idag (8/5): Very good B&B in Naples - We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful guesthouse in central Naples. The location is perfect in centro storico and very close to amazing reataurants. The B&B is decorated in a very stylish manner and has a wonderful terrace overlooking the narrow street. Communication with the owners is perfect and I would definetly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for budget friendly place to stay in Naples.
- TigrePraiano (10/5): Fantastic location, comfortable and good breakfast. - This is a stylish place with a good terrace in a fantastic location right near via tribunale in the historical centre of Naples. Step out into the gorgeousness of Naples. My room was superbly comfortable and Raffaele made me feel very welcome in his exuberant style with lots of enthusiasm and information about Naples from a position of expertise as he is an architect.
- AJDougie (8/5): Lovely stay at the Casa Latino - Taxi from the airport cost only 16 euros. The location of the Casa is in the historic quarter close to everything. Access to the room is up a lot of steps so no good for anyone with mobility problems. The room itself was beautiful spotlessly clean, modern and contemporary decor. The only issue for us was the mattress was very hard I ended up with terrible backache. Breakfast is self service...... Eggs, bread, coffee, tea, fruit juice we bought extras from the local supermarket to keep in the shared fridge.
We loved Naples it is very busy and noisy...... Not at the casa. There is plenty to do lots of museums to visit and very good restaurants to have a nice meal....... The pizzas are very good as you would expect in Naples. We spent three days in Naples before catching the ferry to the beautiful island of Ischia. In all I would recommend staying at the Casa Latino.
- tonyaiello (10/5): BEST B&B IN NAPLES!! - This b&b is absolutely beautiful! An oasis in the heart of Naples. The art and architecture in the building is spectacular. The b&b must of be recently refurbished with a modern and neopolitan theme. Everything felt very clean and fresh.
The outdoor terrace is a wonderful area to have a lovely breakfast or even a relaxing meal with a glass of vino.
The breakfast was self service and had all the amenities you could possibly need, with homemade jams and marmalade which where very tasty and a great personal touch.
We were greeted by the owner raffaele who was so wonderful and welcoming. He gave us fabulous recommendations for dinner and site seeing. Also he told us about the fixed rate taxi from the airport which was a very reasonable €16.
The location of the b&b is perfect. Just up the road from a main square and a 5 minute walk from piazza belini, which in the evening is always very lively.
We had such a fantastic time here at this b&b, it was faultless and we are already planning our next trip to casa Latina.
- laurenj935 (10/5): Modern, comfortable, and well located! - B&B Casa Latina is in a surprising spot but conveniantly located near city center in Naples. The décor is modern and beautiful. The staff are friendly and conscientious. The terrace is a lovely place for breakfast. I would recommend this b&b to everyone!
- 1WayneDonna (10/5): Modern B&B in a great location - We booked on line from New Zealand and were not disappointed with the B&B. Great décor and facilities and really clean. Well stocked fridge for breakfasts and all facilities to allow us to buy local produce and eat on the patio when we wanted to.
The B&B is right in the middle of the old area of the city and so everything is very accessible.
Tip - definitely use the taxi service the owner recommends in his communication. We arrived by train and used a taxi from the station which dropped us some way from the B&B. The man at the B&B who met us was very helpful and friendly and this was appreciated.
We loved our time in Napoli and this was a great base
